Day One – Thursday, July 30th, 2026

After the protagonist’s monologue and naming them, it’s now time to open up the cafe. The lights are off as the assistant Barista, Vin, walks in, but the Barista calls to them and checks whether everything is up to standard. Vin flips the open sign, and our first customer walks in.

He’s from Seattle and visiting Japan; a tourist through and through. As Vin and the customer talk about Jun, another regular at the Coffe Talk cafe, the Barista asks the customer for a warm Hojicha.
When the menu pops up, click on the red blinking button first to select a coffee type. The Hojicha is in the fourth box on the shelf (Left to Right). Select it three times and serve it to the customer. He’ll like it, and reveal his name: Hendry.

Everyone talks about future holiday plans and their love for music. Vin reveals their medical condition, and after they leave the table, the Barista and Hendry converse about Jun’s delay. Moments later, he enters the cafe.

Jun is a singer, but his recent album was a major disaster. Despite everything, he will get back to writing better music after his tour ends. When this conversation ends, Jun asks for a hot chocolate.
For this recipe, click on the red blinking icon and select Chocolate. For the primary and secondary items, select Honey and Soy Milk, respectively. This brew is called the Chocobee Soy.
Serve it to Jun, and he will like it. Suddenly, Hendry’s cup will start flying, and Jun believes it’s the work of a ghost. Jun remains calm, but Hendry panics until two new customers walk in: Ayame, the ghost with supernatural powers, and her friend, Fuku. Except Hendry, Ayame is visible to everyone, and he feels left out.

Fuku works at a Death Door, a door that leads to the afterlife, and she’s now responsible for Ayame. She explains her job, and then the Barista asks what she wants to drink.
Fuku wants a black coffee; a classic, if you would ask me. In the brewing section, select Coffee as all three ingredients, and brew it.
Serve the Espresso to Fuku, and she calls it “quality brewing.” Now, it’s time for Ayame’s coffee: something sweet and cute.

Select Chocolate as the base, Soymilk as primary, and Mint as secondary. Also, don’t forget to unleash your creativity with Latte Art and add a Stencil, as Ayame asked. Serve the Mint Chip Latte.

Everyone talks about their adult life with each other again. After Jun and Hendry leave, the Barista now asks Ayame if she has something to jog her memory. Unfortunately, she doesn’t. However, when Fuku tells Ayame that if she continues acting rudely, her life force will be depleted and nobody will be able to see her, she lashes out.
Understandably disappointed, Fuku leaves the cafe without Ayame. Now, Vin arrives and tries to converse with Ayame, but she acts rudely again. This time, the Barista stops her, but she leaves after realizing her mistake. The Barista comforts Vin, and they tell us to check the Tomodachill 2.0 app before leaving to rest again; they’re being bothered by something.

With this, the first day comes to a close.
Day Two – Friday, July 31st, 2026

It’s a sunny day outside. The Barista opens up the cafe, and Vin appears from their room after a depressive episode. The doorbell rings, and our first customer is Ash, who just returned to Japan from England and is currently facing jet lag. Before he can articulate his thoughts, Ash asks the Barista to make something “light” for him.
He can’t decide for himself, so the Barista recommends a Hot Royal Milk Tea; it’s time to get brewing.

Note: Since the fridge is now functioning, you can brew cold drinks with the blue button.
Select Tea as the base, and Soymilk as both primary and secondary. Serve the Royal Milk Tea to Ash. He calls it a refreshing, royal experience, talks about his wife Emi, and tells Vin and the Barista about his holidays in England.

Vin reveals their mindset of having energy throughout the day: Spoons. Doing something costs us Spoons. If you don’t have any energy left, you have used all your spoons.
Suddenly, this wholesome conversation is interrupted by two arguing people entering the cafe. Makoto is the young one, and the other individual is Kenji, who has just retired. He apologizes for his harsh behavior, and he and Ash bond over their children/grandchildren. Now, Kenji will ask for an iced Coffee With Ice Cream.

Click on the blue button, set the base and primary Coffee, and use Ice Cream as secondary. Brew it for a coffee float, and serve it to Kenji.
He’ll like it. After him, Makoto will ask for an iced matcha mango latte.

Press the blue button, select Green Tea as the base, Soy Milk as the primary, and Mango as secondary.
Makoto will complement the drink and tell Kenji to celebrate his retirement. Since Ash is finding a job himself, he asks Kenji about his work; he worked as a Department Manager at Nihon Electronics. Gradually, they open up about their private lives, their workaholic schedules, and how, despite living in different worlds, they’re top to bottom similar.

Even if things look uncertain, your family is always waiting for you at home. Kenji remembers his train timing, and Ash offers to drop him off, as he would like to learn more about his personal life. They leave, and Makoto and Vin remain.

Makoto asks about Vin’s arm prosthetics, and unfortunately for them, they’re glitching out randomly. After exchanging a few more words, Makoto leaves. Vin seems down as usual, but they assure the Barista that they’re doing fine. With this, Vin leaves for bed, and the Barista orders some beans before closing the cafe for the day.
