Day Three – Saturday, August 1st, 2026

It’s the beginning of a new month, and the Barista opens up their cafe while singing a song; they forget about it, and Vin helps them with the lyrics.
The doorbell rings with the first two customers of the day: Emi and Erika, Ash’s wife and daughter. She notices his singing, and Erika asks the song’s name. They exchange a few more words, including Emi’s work life in the UK, and Vin joins the conversation.

They all get together and talk about their work schedules; little Erika wonders how many hours she spends in school every week. Vin doesn’t make eye contact with anyone, and Erika calls them out for “wanting to hide something.” Vin, surprised by her deduction skills, agrees and asks the Barista for a coffee before they start talking.
Click the red button on the coffee machine. Select Coffee as the base, Soy Milk as the primary ingredient, and Whipped Cream as secondary.

Brew it and serve it to Vin. With this, they will reveal how their hand prosthetics are glitching, inducing pain and making them feel worn out every second of the day.
Emi comforts them, saying that the accident wasn’t their fault. And despite everything, these prosthetics gave Vin a new life to enjoy, even if they malfunction repeatedly. As they and Emi talk, Erika feels bummed out. To change her mind, Vin tells her about the Civet Coffee bag they recently ordered. They leave to inspect the bag, leaving Emi and the Barista behind.

The Barista mentions Ash’s words that Erika is acting differently. Since they have noticed it, Emi offers to explain it over a cup of strong Indonesian coffee with ginger.
It’s a hot cup, so hit the red button on the machine first. Select Coffee as the base and primary ingredient, and ginger as secondary.

Serve it to Emi, and she will compliment it. No matter the Barista in the UK, nobody could create a perfect coffee like this cafe’s barista. Now, when it comes to Erika, Emi reveals that no matter if it’s her or Ash, Erika doesn’t really open up; she acts sulky all the time. When Ash or Emi asks her about it, she clams up immediately.

So, she decides to leave Erika with Vin and the Barista. After she exits the shop, the final new character appears: Yuki, a restaurant owner who cooks and manages everything herself. Since it’s summer, the number of customers is pretty low, and Yuki believes it is too early to hire a helper like Vin.
Before continuing the conversation, the Barista offers her a cup of an iced drink to battle this heat. Yuki asks for an Iced Hojicha.

The recipe is simple: select the blue button on the machine, and select Hojicha in every section. She’ll like it, and as they talk about the Barista’s singing, Vin and Erika return from their coffee inspection endeavor.

Erika hasn’t seen Yuki before since she used to sleep on type, but today’s different. As everyone talks, she finally breaks the silence: She believes that nobody likes him, hence the odd behavior. Vin believes that an Ice Cream will fix it, and suddenly, Erika cheers up.
For her, press the blue (cold) button first. Select Soy Milk as the base, Lychee as primary, and Ice Cream as secondary. This becomes the Lychee Soymilk Float.

Despite the Lychee Soymilk Float, she believes her problems are uninteresting, which is why she isn’t willing to share them. However, Yuki and Vin help her break the silence, and she reveals the problem: Kaori. She’s her school friend who used to sit with her, but recently, she asked the teacher to change her seat.
After she explains all her problems in school, including Akemi, the girl who thinks Erika is cheating, everyone will give her advice. A few moments later, Emi arrives, and after greeting Yuki, she and Erika leave to sleep. With that, Yuki will leave the restaurant, Vin will go to their room to watch a concert, and the day comes to an end.
Day Four – Monday, August 3rd, 2026

The Barista and Vin take a deserved day off on Sunday. On Monday, the weather is hotter than usual, and the first customer to enter the cafe today is Jun.
He had a long day and will ask you to make something quick and cold.

Press the cold button, select Coffee as the base, Soy Milk as the primary, and Ice Cream as the secondary to make an Iced Soymilk Coffee Float. Serve it to Jun so he can relax.

As he takes a deep breath, Vin will join, and before they can talk with Jun, he wonders what went wrong during the concert. He was in high spirits, but on stage everything fell apart.
Vin and the Barista comfort him, and he sings them a song from his amateur days. As they continue the conversation revolving around his “washed-up” self, Kenji enters the cafe.

The Barista asks Vin to take care of Jun, and the focus shifts to Kenji. However, Kenji doesn’t seem to take his eyes off Jun. Since Jun is a half-dragon, his kind has caused serious damage to the river; Kenji is a Kappa, a mythical Japanese creature called the “river-child”.

Before the argument gets worse, Jun leaves the cafe. Disappointed and furious, Kenji asks for an ice-cold coffee to help him cool off.
For this recipe, press the blue button, select Coffee as the base, and Soy Milk as the primary and secondary. This becomes the Iced Au Lait.

As Kenji tries to explain the history between Water Dragons and Kappas, one of Jun’s fans enters the cafe. She asks about his whereabouts and suddenly rushes outside to find him after learning he was here. However, she returns with no luck in finding Jun.
With Kenji being a top-tier Jun hater, he gets into a heated conversation with Jun’s fan. Suddenly, to defend Jun and herself, she gives Kenji headphones to listen to one of Jun’s singles. Surprisingly, he likes it and calms down a bit.

Blue is the fan’s name, and she reveals that Makoto told her about this place; they’re roommates. Now, she’ll ask for a drink, as her throat has given up after all this talking.
This will be a hot drink. Select Tea as the base, Yuzu (Lemon) as the primary, and honey as the secondary ingredient to brew a Hotto Yuzu Mitsu.

She will feel refreshed, and everyone now talks in harmony about their personal lives; Blue is a customer support worker. Kenji shows a picture of his grandkid and talks about his son taking paternity leave due to work.
After a bit, Kenji will leave. Vin and Blue hit it off thanks to their mutual adoration of Jun’s music. Eventually, they exchange each other’s information, and Blue leaves. With this, the fourth day of Coffee Talk ends.
Day Five – Tuesday, August 4th, 2026

Vin is taking the day off, and the Barista anticipates a thunderstorm due to the damp weather. Emi and Yuki are the first customers today.
Emi thanks Yuki for keeping Erika company and orders a very cold drink.

Press the blue button, add Hojicha as the base, Ginger as the primary, and Honey as the secondary ingredient to brew a Hiyashi-Ame. She’ll like it and ask whether Erika spilled the beans.

However, Yuki and the Barista remain quiet, and Emi respects their secrecy for her kid. Still, she wants Erika to start talking sooner, as she has discussed her problems with them. Now, Yuki will ask for a Hojicha.
Press the red button and select Hojicha as all three ingredients.

This reminds Yuki of her partner, who would’ve liked the Barista’s Hojicha, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. Emi asks more about Yuki’s personal life. She reveals that she owns Fuyu, a restaurant on the other road.
Emi is surprised, as Ash and she used to visit it every day. She asks Yuki about the previous owner, Hiromi. Yumi reveals that she was her partner, who passed away. As Emi tries to cheer her up, Ayame and Fuku make a return to the cafe.

Surprisingly, both Emi and Yuki can see Ayame, and Fuku calls for a time to test her theory. She hits a wall and asks Ayame to go outside and talk to somebody to see if they can see her. As she leaves the restaurant, Fuku asks for a cup of Mojito, but with Hojicha.
Press the blue button on the machine first. Select Hojicha as the base, Yuzu as the primary, and Mint as the secondary ingredient to brew a Chajito.

Yuki and Emi ask about Ayame. Fuku reveals that she has to resolve something before she can be cleansed from this world to live peacefully, but since she has no memories of her previous life, they haven’t made progress in five days.
Apparently, Emi’s grandmother was a Transistor, someone with an affinity with ghosts. A few moments later, Ayame returns to the cafe. Fuku tries to connect the dots again, and thanks to the Barista, they make something out: people who have suffered a loss of their close ones can see Ayame. However, it’s still a mystery how Vin could see her too.

Suddenly, they realize something: their prosthetics. Anyone who has either narrowly escaped the mouth of death or met their demise, they can see Ayame. The thunderstorm arrives, and everyone begins opening up about their work life.
Naturally, Ayame asks for a cup of something sweet and spicy.
For her, press the hot button first. Select Chocolate as the base, Honey as the primary, and Ginger as the secondary ingredient to brew a drink called 299.792.458.

The cup’s scent reminds Ayame of her pet dog, whom she loved to death. And from here, Fuku catches another hint: Ayame has a strong sense of smell, and by smelling new things, she may be able to remember about herself. Yuki offers to help them at her restaurant, and everyone bonds with each other while helping Ayame’s situation.
With everything in motion, all the customers leave the cafe; Ayame tells the Barista to pass her apology to Vin for saying rude things when they met the first time. And here, the fifth day ends.
Day Six – Wednesday, August 5th, 2026

Even in the evening, Japan remains hot and humid. The Barista calls Vin, but they’re still resting due to their prosthetics messing up; it’s been more than a day.
The Cafe is now open, and the first customer is Blue. She complains about the temperature and asks about Jun. Since she spent time waiting for Jun outside the cafe, she asks for an iced Hotto Yuzu Mitsu.

Press the blue button on the machine, then select Tea as the base. For the primary and secondary ingredients, select Yuzu and Honey to brew Yuzu Honey Cooler; Blue comes up with the name.
She keeps asking about Jun. The Barista tells her that he’s always inconsistent with his visits, so they can’t give her a guaranteed arrival time. Now, Vin comes out of their room and apologizes for oversleeping. They greet Blue and ask for something caffeinated.

Brew them an Espresso (Coffee in all sections).

They thank Blue for the suggestion, and as she and Vin talk, Yuki will enter the cafe. Blue mistakes her for Jun, and she immediately apologizes. Yuki asks for an Iced Hojicha.
Press the blue button on the machine, then select Hojicha in all the sections.

Serve it to Yuki, and she will sit at the seat by the window to clear her head. Vin asks Blue if she’s here to “catch” Jun. As absurd as this may sound, Vin then volunteers to roleplay this scenario with her.
Vin likes her style, but they tell her that she shouldn’t ask more from him since he’s feeling under the weather. Even support can feel demanding when someone’s not in the mood. As everyone wonders if someone has helped Jun in his dark times, like how his songs did for a handful of people, Vin explains the accident’s post-depression.

As they finally drop the formalities, Erika enters the cafe. Since this is her first time seeing Blue, she asks about her. Vin calls Blue a new friend of theirs, and she is surprised by her name. Erika reveals her name to Blue, and Yuki joins the conversation.

When Blue asks Erika about her relationship with Vin, she calls them best friend, while Yuki is the newest friend. Since it’s late, Vin asks where her parents are. Suddenly, Erika becomes quiet and asks for one Pink Skiff.
Press the blue button on the machine first. Select Soy Milk as the base, Lychee as the primary, and Ice Cream as the secondary ingredient.

After you serve it, Blue will jokingly laugh over how, despite being small, Erika is chugging the cup. Still, she feels sad.
When everyone asks her what happened, she reveals that her classmates mocked a genius science project revolving around passive air conditioning; it requires no power and helps the environment. However, there’s one thing she shouldn’t have done: The whole project was made to help her friend Kaori, but Erika didn’t mention that she’d be using her story to make it.

Erika starts crying, but everyone in the cafe comforts her, saying that she didn’t know better since Erika’s a child. After she calms down, she asks for a Hojicha, just like Yuki’s, but with a sweet tooth.
The trick to making a slightly sweetened Hojicha is to add Mint as the secondary ingredient; Hojicha must be the base and primary ingredient.

Erika compares it to nutty cereal, and she’ll like it. She believes that her dad’s worriness is a burden, but she still loves her parents. The Barista reveals that Ash’s birthday is just a week away. With that, Erika decides to make her dad Omurice on his birthday, but she doesn’t know how. Yuki offers to help, and Erika happily agrees.
On the other side, Erika whispers to Vin that they and Blue are alike, and they should ask them out sooner. To her surprise, it wasn’t a whisper, and everyone heard it. Erika says, “It’s true,” and runs away from the cafe. Yuki follows her, and so does Blue after seeing the time.

As Vin vents to the Barista, Blue returns for her phone and asks Vin out for a date when they are free. With this conversation, the sixth night of Coffee Talk concludes.
