The Barista continues their endeavor in Coffee Talk Tokyo’s Day Seven – Day Ten. Blue and Vin kick it off as they share a similar music taste and adoration for Jun; she’s a new character.
This Coffee Talk Tokyo walkthrough will include all the drink recipes, old and new, to reach the best ending possible.

Day Seven – Thursday, August 6th, 2026
The weather is slowly shifting. Today, the first customers are Makoto and Jun. Makoto will offer a drink to Jun, and he will ask us for a Mango au Lait. Here is its recipe:

Makoto says he’s waiting for someone, and he’ll order a drink when they come. Ash enters the cafe, and Makoto shows gratitude for saving him from Kenji. Since Ash seems a little down, Makoto asks him what’s wrong. Ash says something came up, but before he talks, he asks for a cold tea. Any type of cold tea is fine:

This becomes the Iced Tea. And after taking a sip, he talks about how Erika is giving him a cold shoulder. Ash dropped her at Yuki’s restaurant for cooking lessons, but before he left the cafe, Erika told him, “Leave now.” This surprised Ash. However, he doesn’t know that his daughter is learning to cook Omurice for his birthday.
As Makoto and the Barista tell him that everything’s fine, Ash receives a call from Yuki. With this, he understands that even Yuki was caught off guard by her behavior. She further tells him that she’s on a secret mission that he shouldn’t know about, and sends him a picture of Erika cooking.
They all have a conversation, and Makoto reveals that he’s waiting for Kenji. Hearing this, Jun becomes anxious, but before he can leave, Kenji enters the cafe. Makoto sits in the middle of them, and after he receives a call from his friend, he momentarily leaves the cafe.
Again, Kenji and Jun sit face to face, but this time, things are surprisingly calm between them; Kenji says he liked his song. So, he tells Jun to complete his drink and asks for a cold matcha.

This brew becomes a Hiyashi Matcha. Now, Kenji will talk about his son taking paternity leave for the whole year and asks Ash for advice. With a similar experience of being a stay-at-home dad, Ash reassures him, saying that the generation has changed, and children are now trying to be the best dads of today.
Jun also adds to the conversation, saying how animals have unconventional attributes compared to humans. Things can be different for everyone.
After a few moments, Ash receives a call from Emi and leaves the cafe, thanking both Kenji and Jun for their warm words. An awkward silence echoes throughout the cafe. Kenji initiates the conversation first, and after discovering their life stories are similar, they begin to get along.
Makoto returns to the cafe and, thanks to Kenji, learns more about starting a business. Gradually, everyone leaves, and the day comes to an end.
Day Eight – Friday, August 7th, 2026
It’s raining today. The Barista double-checks everything before opening the cafe, but Vin is still resting. In this rainy weather, the first customers are Fuku and Ayame.
They’re waiting for Yuki as she prepares a special dish for Ayame to test the scent theory, which may make Ayame remember something about her past.
While they wait, Ayame asks for a cup of something sweet and spicy.

The brew of these ingredients becomes 299.792.458. Despite the strong spice and sweetness levels, Ayame can’t remember her past. As they talk about her sense of smell, Yuki and Erika enter the cafe with “so much food.”
Everyone except Erika can see Ayame, and as she becomes curious, she keeps switching seats with her to see her, but it’s all in vain.
Erika expresses her disappointment, as her mother can see ghosts, and now Yuki shows everyone the three bento boxes she has made with Erika’s help. To enhance Ayame’s sense of smell, Yuki tells us to brew a matcha for her, a traditional Japanese brew with traditional bento.

Smelling the matcha reminds her of lashing out at someone who once loved her, and that anger ripped something open in them. With this revelation, Ayame becomes angry and lashes out at everyone in the cafe. Yuki quickly switches seats with Erika.
Before they can calm her down, Ayame rushes outside, and Fuku follows her. However, she returns with no luck and asks the Barista to brew something sweet and warm.

This becomes Honey Chocolate. After Fuku takes a sip, she explains the bureaucracy and management of her workplace. Despite the system deeming Ayame a lost cause, she unofficially picked up the case to help her. As Fuku worries about her authenticity and abilities, Yuki comforts her and tells more about her late partner, Hiromi. To take her mind off things, Yuki asks for a cup of something reliable. For her, it’s Hojicha.

Serve her the Iced Hojicha, and she will calm down. Fuku reveals that Hiromi passed away with a light heart, knowing that Yuki loved her despite their quarrels. To lighten the mood, Erika will ask for an experiment: Making Tea with no artificial sugars, only fruits.

The experiment was a success. As they talk further about Ayame and Hiromi, Erika reveals how she was bullied by her classmates, to the point that one of them pulled her tail to prove that it’s a cosplay and she’s not a real Kitsune.
Yuki, Fuku, and the Barista calm her down and ask her to make Bento for Kaori. She calms down, and Ash walks into the cafe to remind Erika that she has school tomorrow. But before they leave, Ash asks for a cup of Espresso.

Ash tells Erika to hit the sack, and as she leaves, she tells the Barista to keep Ayame’s bento for Vin and tell them that everyone cares. She bids farewell to everyone and leaves.
Ash understands that she’s being bullied in school, but he doesn’t know how to deal with it since Erika doesn’t tell him anything. Yuki gives him advice, and after a few moments, Ash leaves. Yuki follows him, and Fuku stays at the cafe until the day ends.
Day Nine – Saturday, August 8th, 2026
After the rain yesterday, the weather is a bit better than before. And today, Vin has managed to come out of their room, but they still don’t have many spoons. They reveal the news: A corporation has bought the patents of their prosthetics, and now they’ll sell the faulty pieces in much more prestigious packaging; capitalism is real.
Suddenly, Vin’s phone starts moving on its own, and as they wonder what’s wrong with it, Ayame reveals herself. The Barista asks her how she’s doing after yesterday’s drama, but she isn’t too eager to talk about it. As Vin talks about their condition, Ayame will ask for a soothing drink with mango and milk.

This brew becomes Nighty Night, which reminds Ayame of her mother. She wasn’t kind to her, but she still can’t make herself hate her. Now, the conversation shifts to Blue, and Ayame starts teasing Vin since she understands they like her.
She pushes them enough to go outside and ask Blue out asap; Ayame believes she misguided Vin, and they took the wrong idea, but it is what it is.
To lighten the mood, she tells multiple jokes to the Barista, but they don’t laugh at all. So, she shifts to stories about herself, her mother, and her relationship with her parents. After this conversation, Ayame leaves the cafe and thanks the Barista for their time.
A few moments later, Blue enters the cafe and tells us that Vin isn’t feeling well. They turn the lights off and go outside to get Vin with Blue.
They return in one piece, but since they’re tired, Blue asks us to brew a Vinnese Coffee.

Vin will feel better, and Blue will hold their hand. After that, they both reveal what happened and how Vin collapsed at the night bar after one song. However, this conversation takes a wrong turn as Blue asks Vin about their prosthetics, but even with the girl they like, they aren’t comfortable sharing their story.
Vin returns to their on a whim, and Blue blames herself for it. The Barista asks if she needs something; Blue asks for a hot coffee.

This is brewed into SoyMilk Honey Coffee. The Barista gives Blue advice on how to deal with Vin’s situation, and she leaves the cafe. And here, the ninth day ends.
Day Ten – Monday, August 10th, 2026
It’s the dawn of a new day, and the Barista has bought a table fan to battle the intense heat, as the AC broke down. Today, the first customers are Makoto and Blue, who are quarreling over rent payment.
With this unbearable heat, the Barista offers them a drink on the house. Suddenly, Jun walks in, and Makoto makes his entry dramatic to surprise Blue, who’s been meaning to see him for a long time. However, she can’t utter the right words since she wanted to do it with Vin, who’s resting for the day.
Blue leaves, and Makoto asks for a frappe.

This is a new drink called “Mint Shock,” which leaves Makoto… Shocked. Now, seeing Makoto, Jun orders a cold Hojicha.

Makoto and Jun talk about their personal lives over their drinks, and learn more about each other. It’s pretty surprising how Makoto is handling his love life with four girlfriends. On the other hand, Jun is a divorcee who lives all alone. As they continue talking, Kenji enters the cafe with a new set of clothes; he officially looks retired, for once.
However, his dressing screams “Aloha,” and since it isn’t Hawaii, everyone tells him that it’s a bit extra. With that, the Barista offers Kenji a cup of espresso with Ice Cream.

It becomes an Affogato. He will feel refreshed, and a few moments later, Hendry enters the cafe to have one last conversation with Jun, since he’s leaving Japan tomorrow. They have a chat about pursuing your own path since Jun is still a bit confused about his gig with Hendry.
Now, Hendry will ask for a drink that represents Mount Fuji, and its lake glowing in a sunset. It’s a challenge since the ingredients are ambiguous.

With this cup of tea, Hendry remembers his late wife, who wanted to see Mount Fuji during her lifetime. During this conversation, he helps Kenji find his passion and tells Jun that everything will be okay. His cab arrives, and Hendry bids farewell to everyone.
Kenji and Makoto leave after Hendry, and Jun decides to stay a bit longer. Blue returns to the cafe and explains how she wanted to send Vin a text, but couldn’t as she doesn’t want to write something wrong and hurt them further.
She hands us a letter for Vin and talks to Jun about his fan page she’s running. Jun appreciates her efforts and tells her about his music recording process. Since she has an early morning shift, she leaves. Jun stays at the cafe for a while, and the day ends.
