Coffee Talk Tokyo Walkthrough Part 4: Day 11 – Day 15

The Barista’s final stretch begins with Coffee Talk Tokyo Day 11 – Day 15.

This walkthrough will cover Coffee Talk Tokyo’s final five days, concluding all the characters’ stories that you have met so far.

Day 11 – Tuesday, August 11th, 2026

The AC is working again. Fuku is the first customer today, and she’s happy, as Ayame was finally cooperative enough to share the address she remembered, leading to her family. She’s waiting to meet Ayame at the cafe, and asks for something chocolaty and spicy.

This brew becomes Chaiced Cocoa. As she talks about its taste, Ayame enters. She apologizes for her disappearance and talks with Fuku about the transparency issue. In a few moments, Emi and Yuki walk into the cafe.

Fuku reveals that they’re all besties now with a group chat, and she tells Ayame the news about finding her parents’ house. However, Ayame remembered her mother’s name, Akiko, the day Yuki and Erika brought her bento.

Ayame further reveals that Akiko was a famous pianist, and her career didn’t last long. So, she forced little Ayame to play the violin until her last breath. Fuku apologizes to her, and as Ayame worries that she can’t smell anything, the Barista offers her to try something at least. So, she asks for a drink; any drink works. Since every drink she has requested so far has a strong smell, I’m adding ginger here.

As Ayame remembers more about her past, Fuku drops a bomb: She shows her mother’s Tomodachill account. As soon as she lays her eyes on it, she starts crying. Her mother’s account serves as a venting place, where she talks about Ayame and how much regret she bears over her loss.

After this, Ayame goes to the backroom. This reminds Yuki of her past lover, but Emi and Fuku comfort her. With this, Yuki asks for a drink that’s sweet, soft, and warm.

After she takes a sip, Ayame returns to the cafe, and from here, the conversation gets rolling. Everyone tries to figure out how to solve her problem. However, Ayame shares an idea: let her meet Akiko. But Fuku is against that idea, since she’s handling her case; the higher-ups would fire her.

They try to find a substitute and eventually reach a conclusion: Fuku once said she should live by her principles, not her higher-ups’ requests. Yuki asks Fuku to live up to her ideals and says that if anything goes wrong, Fuku can work at her restaurant and live there.

The offer is intriguing. But they don’t know how to call her mother at the cafe. Obon, a day in Japan where the barrier between the living and the dead shrinks, is in four days. So, Emi says she will act as Ayame’s friend and call Akiko to the cafe on Obon.

With the idea finalized, Fuku and Ayame leave and thank everyone. Yuki follows them, and Emi asks for a cup of iced tea with fruits before leaving the cafe.

This brew becomes the Tropical Tea. She has something on her mind and wonders if she could ask Vin about it. Suddenly, Vin leaves their room. Apparently, they also have something to talk about; Emi goes first. She asks them about their prosthetics, and with the right information, she can halt the patent’s sale, which would help Vin get better prosthetics.

Since Emi’s married, Vin asks her advice about Blue’s letter, since she’s interested in continuing things further despite the argument. She talks about her love-life experience with Ash, his first confession, and how things played out for them. With that, Vin becomes more confident, and Emi leaves.

Vin wants to talk to Blue. And here, the day ends.

Day 12 – Wednesday, August 12th, 2026

It’s once again a hot summer day. The Barista hears two people outside and tries to remember who they are: Kenji and Makoto.

Kenji is in a more casual outfit after the Aloha-themed outfit disaster; his wife picked it for him. After talking for a whole session of work, both Makoto and Kenji ask for drinks. Makoto goes first and asks for something with Coffee, Lychee, and Ice Cream.

The Barista names this brew after Makoto: Makoto’s Parfait. Next, Kenji asks for a Yuzu Tea, but it shouldn’t be too sour.

Kenji finds the Yuzu Iced Tea refreshing. Then, he and Makoto will talk about their session experience, including how fast he’s learning from Kenji. Since he’s retired, Kenji thinks of it as a part-time job. Thanks to Hendry’s advice, he’s now getting along with his family and will spend the holidays with his son and grandson.

As Kenji and Makoto talk, Ash enters the cafe. He talks about how Erika made him Omurice for his birthday, and he’s happy that she cares for him, just like Emi. Now, Ash asks for a cup of cafe latte.

This reminds Ash of the first time he visited Coffee Talk, and he thanks the Barista for everything. As the conversation continues, he reveals that his family has evicted him for a “forced vacation.”

While Ash was surprised at their demeanor at first, he decided to take a rare day off. Additionally, since life’s moving fast and Erika is growing up, he’s thinking of taking a part-time job as an English teacher at Erika’s school.

He’s skeptical about it, but after a push from Kenji and Makoto, he decides to give it a shot. Moments later, Jun arrives at the cafe to meet Kenji.

Since Jun is a descendant of water dragons, he lost his power after losing his sight. So, to help him, Kenji went to his home river and collected some water to experiment with whether drinking it would help him regain his powers.

The Barista is opposed to this idea because it’s against their policy, but Kenji reassures them that it’s only water. Jun volunteers to try it, and the Barista agrees, but they decide to hide it from Vin. Jun orders a Kiri Te with Lychee, which is a Sri Lankan milk tea.

After taking a sip, Jun mentions feeling something weird. Suddenly, the light goes out, and he transforms into a blue dragon, leaving everyone stunned.

However, it doesn’t last long, and unfortunately, it doesn’t restore his eyesight either. Still, he’s grateful to Kenji for at least trying on his behalf. Everyone talks about their work and life culture, and how life can get bumpy with risks. A few moments later, Kenji, Makoto, and Jun leave for the batting cages.

Ash stays at the cafe for the time being, and the day comes to an end.

Day 13 – Thursday, August 13th, 2026

The evening breeze cools down the hot day. Vin returns from their break, leaving the Barista surprised at how early they are today.

They continue looking at their mobile and smile, prompting the Barista to say that they’re in high spirits today. Vin reveals that they and Blue have been talking on the phone now, and to keep the phone down, they ask for something un-caffeinated today.

Again, they check their mobile for messages, and the Barista asks whether they’re “going out” with Blue. Vin says they’ll make a plan first, gather water for temperature, and then go out with her.

As the Barista and Vin talk, Erika and Emi enter the cafe. They all talk to each other about their days, and Erika asks for a sweetened Hojicha with fruits.

Erika will like the Mango Lychee Hojicha. Emi will tell Erika how this is her favorite combination now, and in a few moments, Yuki enters the cafe. As Erika decides to share her good news, Yuki asks for a drink first: Hojicha with a twist.

This becomes the Mango Melba. She takes a sip, and Erika grows impatient. With that, she begins telling her story: She and Kaori are friends again, thanks to the bento she made with Yuki. After that, Emi will talk about her pending vacation to Seattle with her family and ask for a hot, minty drink called Lait de Menthe.

Over this drink, Emi talks about her grandmother, who used to summon dead people using salts and singing songs. Since Vin feels drained, they ask for a mint latte.

Vin drinks the Mint Chip Latte and talks about Blue with Erika, Emi, and Yuki. He’s thankful to Emi for sharing advice from her personal experience. And since it’s getting late, Yuki asks for a Mango Melba (the drink you brewed for Yuki today, but change the secondary ingredient to Ice Cream)

With this drink, everyone converses about their life, and the day comes to an end.

Day 14 – Friday, August 14th, 2026

No matter what time it is, the city of Tokyo never seems to slow down. Shortly after opening the cafe, Vin arrives and wonders if they’re late. Blue follows them, revealing that they were on a date at Jun’s concert.

Since they’re both tired, the Barista offers them drinks. Vin stalls the offer, and Blue asks for a Hotto Yuzu Mitsu.

Due to constant screaming at the concert, her voice was thrashed. With this drink, she’ll feel refreshed and explain Jun’s performance. Despite his self-doubts, he performed really well. As she asks Vin about Makoto’s whereabouts after the concert, her makes an entrance in the cafe.

He asks whether everyone’s ready for an encore. Shortly after him, Jun enters the cafe. Makoto explains how he scared away the paparazzi after his concert, and… It wasn’t the best way.

Jun asks for plain hot tea.

Everyone mentions how electric Jun’s concert was. However, even after a successful run, Jun decides to step back and return to the scene after learning his brand-new guitar. Makoto offers a deal to him, but he rejects it. To dry Makoto’s tears (figuratively), he asks for something bitter to the max.

This allows him to think clearly, and the topic shifts to talking to people online. Vin decides to use their socials to converse with people about his prosthetics, so others can seek help if they need prosthetics.

Blue’s shift alarm rings, and before she leaves, she asks for a cup of Jahe Tubruk.

As she drinks Jahe Tubruk, Jun compliments her efforts to run a fan account, which has accumulated more followers than his main account. Since it’s extremely stylized and draws in more views, he asks Blue to become his personal social manager, and he’ll pay her more than the customer support job she’s currently occupied with.

With that, Makoto reveals that he’s moving in with his girlfriend, and he was worried about how Blue would pay the rent alone. But thanks to Jun’s job offer, she’ll be more than comfortable.

After the conversation, Makoto, Jun, and Blue leave. Since Vin isn’t feeling well due to a canned coffee they drank at the concert, they ask for something fresh.

As they drink it, a cat enters the cafe. Suddenly, it transforms into a Nekomimi: Rachel. Like Jun, she’s a professional singer whom Jun is a big fan of. She came here on Hendry’s recommendation, who is her manager.

Rachel asks for a drink with milk and spice.

The mutual love for Jun sparks a friendship between Rachel and Vin. They talk about his records and songs, and she tells them how she just attended his concert. Since she’s facing severe jet lag, Rachel bids farewell to the Barista and Vin.

Vin remains startled as he can’t believe that they just met “THE” Rachel. As they hit the sack, the day comes to an end.

Day 15 – Saturday, August 15

Today is Obon, and the final day of Coffee Talk Tokyo. Vin returns from his date with Blue, since it was her last day at the customer support office. Suddenly, they drop a bomb: Blue and Vin kissed, and are now officially dating each other.

To celebrate this wholesome occasion, Vin asks for something extravagant, like “a forest in the snow.”

This brew becomes the Snow Forest. Vin compliments it, and Emi walks into the bar wearing a Yukata. She likes the lanterns in the cafe and talks about the weather in the UK, recommending Vin visit it someday.

However, they have to do something about their prosthetics first. Regarding them, Emi has some good news to share. She asks for a cup of a crisp iced drink before doing so.

Over the cup of Iced Mint Tea, Emi reveals that Akiki, Ayame’s mother, is in touch with her, and she’ll be joining everyone at the cafe today. Additionally, her higher-ups have managed to secure Vin’s prosthetics, halting the patent sale. It will allow numerous open-source labs to work on the prosthetics and deliver a better version of them, solving Vin’s spoon problem once and for all.

As they talk about the patent situation, Vin’s cup starts flying. Everyone knows whose shenanigans these are: Ayame. She reveals herself, and this time, she isn’t as transparent as during her last visit.

She has remembered her last day in the hospital, revealing a couple that fought in the cold outside. Suddenly, Vin will mention it too, as they were in the ICU after their accident. This makes Vin and Ayame realize that they were in the same hospital, on the same floor, but one of them didn’t survive.

Ayame believes that Vin guided her to the cafe metaphorically, and thanks them for their efforts; a coincidence worth remembering forever. After this conversation, Vin leaves.

Emi asks whether Ayame is ready for the ‘big’ conversation; she isn’t. She believes that due to Obon, her behavior is slightly different. To test it, Ayame orders a weak drink. The more bitter a drink is, the stronger it will be.

Serve her the Nighty Night. Surprisingly, she can smell it better than ever. However, she wonders if bringing her mother here would be a good idea, since she’s already reached an acceptance state, thanks to the memorial account.

Emi tries putting herself into Akiko’s shoes to give advice. After that, Fuku enters the cafe, and she’s also wearing a Yukata.

She’s gasping for air and exclaims that she’s too old to run. Additionally, Fuku reveals that she has resigned from her job to pursue Yuki’s offer. Now, Fuku tells Ayame that she’ll leave the cafe as soon as Akiko arrives, since it’s a conversation that only a mother and daughter should have.

In a matter of seconds, Akiko finally arrives; she and Ayame both have identical flowers. Apparently, she can’t see Ayame and takes a recommendation from Emi on what to order.

Serve the Yuzu Cha to Akiko. With this, Fuku channels her inner psychic powers to make the cafe a medium for Obon. And when Akiko looks to her left, she sees Ayame. She’s in disbelief and tries to touch her, but fails. Ayame tells her to stop, revealing that she’s a ghost now.

She isn’t transparent anymore. Fuku and Emi leave the cafe to make a space for the mother and daughter. Suddenly, Ayame, formerly Misaki, crashes out on her mother, calling out past mistakes and how overly critical she was. She continues to talk about it for a good minute, until she gives Akiko a chance.

Akiko feels regret for her actions and ‘truly’ apologizes, even if it is too late now; doing so would give Misaki a chance to rest permanently.

Despite everything, Akiko expresses her love for Misaki, and she explains how she was at the hospital during her accident. However, due to the snowstorm, she was late and only arrived when her daughter had lost consciousness.

After this tear-inducing conversation, Misaki hugs her mother since she can touch anything. They both cry tears of happiness, and gradually, Misaki starts to fade, to the point Akiko can’t see her anymore.

Finally, after this reconciliation, Akiko leaves with no regrets. As she exits the cafe, Fuku, Yuki, and Emi return. They talk about how classy Akiko was, and it makes Misaki wonder if they were just waiting for her mother to leave.

Since it’s been a long day, Fuku and Yuki ask for the same brew:

The girls have a long conversation about their lives. Yuki finally enters a new chapter of her life as she decides to move on from Hiromi, as she knows she passed away happily. For Misaki, Fuku confirms she is now eligible to pass, and we’re now moving towards the farewell.

Everyone mentions how they will miss Misaki after she has passed the Death’s Door, and they leave, one by one. The Barista bids farewell to Misaki, and the credits start to roll.
