Join us at Into Indie Games as we continue our journey through the Power Lines quest in Control Resonant.
After saving Arish from the Evac building, Dylan returns to the Field Office. Despite Arish’s hatred for Dylan, they can’t deny that they need someone like him to help fight the Hiss and the new Patterning.
As your first job, you’ll need to reroute the power through three different subway stations around Central. This will provide enough power to operate the CFD weapon and use it to get rid of the Hiss.

Reroute Perimeter Station

Around the center of the map, you can find the Perimeter Station. However, the entrance will be blocked, so you first need to defeat all the nearby enemies to clear the way.
Once the entrance is accessible, head down to the station and follow the path to the left until you find the charged power cells.

Use the charge from these cells to open the small room on the opposite side and collect the crate. You will also need this charge later, so keep that in mind before moving on.
Puzzle Explanation
At the bottom of the station, you will find the Tuning Device. On the ground, you will see yellow lines extending from the device.

Follow these lines to find several squares, as these are the locations where the Calibration Units need to be placed.
The locations of the Calibration Units are marked on your minimap, and they are scattered throughout the area.
The goal is to find all three Calibration Units and place them on the correct squares so the Tuning Device can be activated.

You will find recordings and notes around the Tuning Device that provide clues about what needs to be done. However, if you want to skip the clues, follow the solution below.

First, find all three Calibration Units and bring them near the Tuning Device so they are all in one place. One of the units is behind a locked door, so you will need to use the charge from the upper floor to open it.
Once you have all three Calibration Units, place them on the following squares:
- Place one Calibration Unit on the square directly next to the Tuning Device.

- Place another Calibration Unit on the square at the top of the stairs opposite the stairs you used to enter. You will find the square directly on top of these stairs.

- Place the final Calibration Unit inside the upper-floor room you opened earlier to get the crate.

With all three Calibration Units in the correct positions, return to the Tuning Device and activate it.

If everything has been placed correctly, the device will reroute the power and display a green message on its panel, confirming that you have completed the puzzle.
Reroute The East Park Station

Exit the previous station and make your way east toward the East Park Station. Just like before, the entrance will be blocked, and you need to defeat the nearby enemies to unblock it.
Head downstairs, and you should see two of the Calibration Units on each side, but one of them is behind a locked door.

Take the one you have down to the Tuning Device. Here, you will also find some Mold covering some of the squares. Destroy it.

For this Tuning Device, if you interact with it without any unit on the square, it will teleport you to a random location within the station. So, in order to get to the third unit, we need the correct lineup.
Put one unit on the square next to the stairs and the other unit on the square in front of the device. Interact with the device, and you should be able to teleport to the locked room.

Destroy the panel here to unlock the gate, then take this unit down. There is only one square open here, so simply put it there and interact with the Tuning Device one more time to complete this station.

As you are about to exit this station, you will hear a distress call from a woman called Florez. It seems they are trapped in the tunnel with several others.

This is probably the team that tried to reroute. You can ignore it for now and move on to the next station.
Reroute Factory Station

Northwest of the Patterned Factory, you should find the last station you need. Defeat the enemies to gain access to the station.
Head down to the bottom where the Tuning Device is and grab all three units next to it so we can arrange them in the correct order. Just check your minimap for their locations.

There are multiple squares here, and this was the most annoying out of all the others, but surprisingly, it’s easy! All you need to do is place all three units in a straight line from the Tuning Device.
Interact with the device, but this time, it seems like it will transport you to another location. This causes the MCD to be triggered.

Zoe, just in time, turned it off, but the trigger showed that Dylan has left Manhattan, thus the device transporting him to a fourth secret station.
Zoe asks him to head to the surface to figure out where Dylan is, but when he tries to get up there, there is no exit. You will also hear another distress call from Agent Clarke.

There is a radio device on the wall. Interact with it to speak with Dr. Florez from earlier. It seems that they are also stuck in this strange station and need help.
Reroute The Vanished Station

Since there is no way out, all you need to do is progress forward through the tracks. You will encounter some enemies along the way, and you will hear Agent Clarke screaming as he dies.
Defeat the enemies and continue forward. You will come across his body along the way, but you do not need to interact with it.
At the end of the path, you will find another Tuning Device labeled A. Next to it, you will also find a hint for solving the puzzle.

This is the hardest Tuning Device puzzle to figure out, as there are two platforms, A and B, and you need to calibrate both of them, just like you did with the previous devices.
However, the second platform, B, has cables and Mold that make the puzzle more confusing. To make things easier, follow the steps below to calibrate both platforms and find your way back to Manhattan.
Help The Survivors

First, interact with the device on Platform A. This will teleport you to Platform B. Take the stairs up, and you will find the area where Dr. Florez and the other survivors are trapped.

First, take the charge from the power cell and move it to the other cell on the right. This will turn off the light and unlock the door to the room ahead, where you will find a Calibration Unit and a Health Upgrade crate.

Now destroy the Mold covering the door to open the gate. You can speak to Dr. Florez and the other survivors here, but when you are done, make sure to take the Calibration Unit from the room as well.

While you are on this floor, destroy the panel on the gate ahead to unlock it. This creates a shortcut back to Platform A.
Calibrate Platform A

Now take the charge from the power cell here and head toward Platform A through the shortcut you just opened.
Place the charge into the power cell near the Tuning Device. This will unlock the gate upstairs, allowing you to collect another Calibration Unit.

Place both Calibration Units on the two squares, then interact with the Tuning Device to calibrate Platform A.
Calibrate Platform B

Platform B is more complicated because you will notice that some of the cables have been cut, meaning the power cannot flow through them.
However, if we get the Mold to grow into the two areas where the cables are cut, it can act as a conductor and restore the connection.
Start by taking all the remaining Calibration Units to Platform B. This will make it easier to set everything up.

Next, move the charges from the power cells on the upper floor to Platform B. This will turn on the lights and cause the Mold to grow.
The Mold will also grow over the squares where you need to place the Calibration Units. Do not worry about this, as you can destroy this Mold. However, if the charges remain on Platform B, the Mold will simply grow back.
To prevent this, take the two charges you moved down to Platform B and return them to the two power cells on the upper floor. Once you do this, the Mold will stop growing back, allowing you to clear the areas you need.

Now destroy the two Mold growths covering the squares on the far left and far right.
Place the Calibration Units on these two squares. If you followed the steps above, you can now interact with the Tuning Device to calibrate Platform B.
Once the calibration is complete, the station will be rerouted, allowing you to leave and return to Manhattan.
Talk To Dr. Florez

As soon as you calibrate both platforms, Mold enemies will spawn, and you need to defeat them. When you’re done, Zoe will confirm that you are back in Manhattan.
Head to the upper floor and speak to Dr. Florez and share the news with her. She will be thankful, and the FBC should evacuate them to complete the quest.
And with that, we wrap up another walkthrough for Control Resonant. Thanks for checking it out!
