Join us at Into Indie Games as we continue our journey to look for Dylan’s sister, Jesse, and track her through the visions in Control Resonant.
Dylan is still trying to track down the location of his sister, but all he can find are visions of Jesse that continue to lead him toward what she calls a Fault.
Another vision is waiting for him in the West Incursion Zone, giving Dylan another clue to follow in his search for Jesse.

Investigate The Vision Of Jesse

After you reach the West Incursion Zone, you will arrive at the spot where you will be able to spot the Threat that you need to go to in order to reach the Resonant.
Here, you will see a vision of Jesse just like you did before. Follow it, and it will give you an objective marker on the map. This will lead you to a parking garage further west.

In order to reach it, go inside the House of Mirrors near the map pylon and take the charge from the power cell here to the elevator by the Patterned street.

This will power up the lift, and you can climb up and use it to reach the upper area. From here, simply follow the way until you reach the parking garage.
At the entrance of the garage, you will see that a bunch of cars are parked outside, which Dylan finds unusual. The garage itself is locked, so you need to find a way to get in.
Find The Key To The Parking Garage

At the locked door, there is a note that mentions that the security guard can be found either smoking at the back or at the laundromat. He’s actually in the laundromat, which is in the building behind the garage.
When you arrive at the Wear’em & Wash’em laundromat, the front door is locked. Head down the alley on the right and go around to the back to enter through the rear door.

Sadly, the security guard is taken by the Hiss. Take his keys and go back to the parking garage to unlock the door.
Enter The Fault

Go inside the parking garage and head toward the elevator there. Take the elevator up to the rooftop. Head right, and you will see a vision of Jesse again. Here, drop down in the hole all the way to the bottom.

You will find another similar TV to the one you saw in previous Faults. Interact with it to be transported to its dimension.
Find And Talk To Jesse

In this dimension, you need to find Jesse. Progress forward by platforming normally. You will find Jesse waiting for you.
During your conversation with her, you will learn that Jesse actually woke you up so you can run away and not help, as she is determined that she needs to do this alone and stop whatever threat is coming.
After this, you will obtain a new movement ability called Shift. This allows you to face a gravity anomaly surface and align your gravity to it.
It’s extremely important that you get this skill before progressing forward through the story.
Help Jesse Complete The Ritual

Using Shift for the first time can be confusing, as it shifts the whole world and how you perceive it. Start by using Shift on the Patterned street ahead and follow the way.
You will arrive at another TV. Interact with it to move on and reveal the next area.

Keep following the way ahead using your Shift until you reach the area where the street is above you. It’s simple: use Elevate and then Shift to switch.
From here, it’s basically just you practicing Shift and getting used to it, and you need to reach the TV at the end of the path to help Jesse seal the dimension.

Jesse felt that you tried to seal the door with her, and she urged you to stay away, as this cannot happen again. Just when she was trying to explain why, the vision stops, and you’re back to the real world.
Zoe will play a song for you, and you will be able to practice your new ability, Shift, to get out of the parking garage, which reminded us of the Ashtray Maze.
And with that, we wrap up another walkthrough for Control Resonant. Thanks for checking it out!
