Craftlings – Mausoleum’s Order Walkthrough

The desert biome in Craftlings brings out unique conditions in each stage, and the Mausoleum’s Order stage is no different. Here, you have no space available to build anything from the start, so you must create your own by utilizing the Terrain Spell. The Mausoleum’s Order stage gives you a lot of freedom with how you want to play. The main objective requires you to deliver 6 swords and sculptures to the Mausoleum, and you’ll have to expand a lot to produce these required materials.

Starting Out

As you start out, you’ll notice a small platform above the sea with your Town Hall on it. There’s another platform on top, but you can see stone deposits under the flying platform. It also has the mausoleum on top of it, where you’ll have to deliver the sculptures and swords later.

Use the terrain spell to expand the lower platform. Use the dynamite to expose the stone deposits on the flying platform, and use the terrain spell to create a longer platform where you can set up an iron mine and all the required buildings for it.

Build a ladder and send most of your Craftlings above. You should also set up a Lumberjack’s Hut, a Mining Shed, and a Sapling Farm here.

You can continue to use the Terrain spell to expand the platform if you feel like you’re running out of space for buildings.

Mining Iron

Your Town Hall is Level 4 from the start, and you’ll need iron to upgrade it. You can set up most of the relevant structures to mine iron on the above platform.

However, it’s best to build the Wheat Farm on the bottom platform. Use Cargo Lifts and Balloons to trade resources between the two platforms.

If everything goes smoothly, you should be producing iron in no time. Later in the game, you’ll be setting the Arena on the bottom floor as well, alongside the bakery and windmill, to produce swords.

Crafting Sculptures

Use the Iron to upgrade the Town Hall to Level 5. Now, you’ll need to craft Sculptures to upgrade the Town Hall to gain access to the Level 6 structures, which include the Arena.

For sculptures, it’s best to create another platform using the Terrain spell. This time, the Terrain spell should extend the edge of the platform where the mausoleum is.

Place a stopper on the other edge of the platform. You should also build a tavern and a few vegetable beds to grow grapes and produce wine.

Once you’re producing Sculptures, have them delivered to the Town Hall through the Cargo Balloons.

Producing Swords

Swords can be obtained from the Arena, but you’ll need maces for that. There’s no need to build a Training Spot or a Small Armory to produce the maces.

Build a Military Academy right away. You get one sword automatically for upgrading to the Level 6 Town Hall, so you need five more. Completing the construction of the Military Academy will grant you five spears, which can then be turned into maces and then swords at the Arena.

The Arena also requires bread and bones. You’ll have to build the Fishing Spot at sea level. Use the Terrain spell to build a stair-like platform that leads to a space that’s directly above the water. You’ll be able to get the bones here for the Arena.

You’re already producing Wheat on the bottom platform. Place a windmill to turn wheat into flour and then turn it into bread at a Bakery. You’ll also need Wine. Have the extra wine from the top platform delivered to the bottom one using Cargo Balloons.

Once the production is going smoothly and you have 6 swords in your inventory, you can have the Artist building deliver the sculptures to the Mausoleum and drop the sword on nearby free Craftlings to have them deliver it to the building. After you’ve delivered 6 units of swords and sculptures, the mausoleum will be complete.
