After getting rid of the troublemaker Hornsplitter in Crimson Desert, Shakatu is now the leader of the Goldleaves, and everyone is grateful for your help.
Of course, he has not forgotten about your mission to find your comrade, so he sends one of his servants to find you and deliver information about a Greymane you might know.

Homestead

Kliff will follow the information he has been given, and you need to go to the alleys of Hernand. You will get an objective marker, so make your way there.
As you make your way there, you will be surprised to see Marius sitting between a few beggars. Kliff asks about the others, but it seems that everyone is scattered around, and you still need to find the rest.

Marius asks you to seek Marquis Serkis in order to help you rebuild the Greymanes. Serkis can be found at his manor, so make your way there. His servant will lead you to him as you approach the manor.
The Marquis will notice the efforts that you made with the Goldleaves, and as a token of his gratitude, he wants to offer you a place where you can help rebuild the Greymanes.
He will have his soldier outside waiting for you so he can lead you to your new place, the Howling Hill. Ride with him so he can show you the location.

After you reach the camp, speak to Marshal Middler. During the conversation, you will be introduced to Damiane, who will become another playable character. She uses a rapier and has her own set of weapons and skill tree.
Around the camp, as you will see, people are still settling in, and there are a few things that you can do to help.
First Steps To Rebuilding

First, you will have four markers on your map to complete these four tasks.
The first task is to drive the stakes; you need to pick up the mallet and hit the pillars on the stakes to secure the tent.

The next task requires you to push the wagon into the tent, but you need to use the pickaxe on all the rocks there first.

The next task requires you to pick up three stacks and move them to their designated location.

The last task requires you to raise the banner at the entrance of the camp. You can use Nature’s Grasp to pick it up and then place it in the banner stand.

After you complete all four tasks, the camp will be ready to use, but your friends will be hungry, and they need someone to cook. Kliff does have some cooking skills, so you need to complete this task.

Approach the cooking pot, and on the right side you will find a recipe and its ingredients. First, pick up the recipe and examine it to learn Clear Soup, then pick up the ingredients from the table.
Now interact with the pot and scroll down in the Field Pot Cooking section until you see Clear Soup. Make sure you cook two of them.

After that, serve the dish at the table and let everyone enjoy the warm meal after a long day. Now you need to find Marius again and bring him back to the camp; he is located at the Scrapfold.
As you approach the location, you will notice many beggars around; it seems that Marius has been using this as his spot. Now with him accompanying you, place him on your horse and ride back to the Howling Hill.
Find Yann At The St. Halssius’s House Of Healing

At the camp, the Greymanes will be happy to see each other, but Marius already has information about another fellow who is trapped at Halssius; that is where you need to head next.
Ride your way there to the west, and as you approach the House of Healing, you will realize that you need to infiltrate the location and find a way inside.

There are a few options to gain access to Halssius, and the one we went with is purchasing the disguise. If you cross the bridge and head right, you should spot a man at the corner of the building.
Speak to him, and he will ask for ten Silver coins to give you a way to get inside safely. Accept the offer, and he will give you the House of Healing attire. Equip it and safely infiltrate the location.

Inside, head to the center building and go to the second floor. Here, you will see a few saints fighting a patient. You will recognize that this is Yann, and he has been fighting these cultists.
You need to follow Yann in order to sneak outside of this mad house. After he changes his clothes, you will need to ride a wagon in order to make your way back to the camp.
The Face Behind The Mask

With Yann back at the Howling Hill, there are more members that you need to locate. Speak to Marius, and you will realize that he has information about two other Greymanes, Naira and Andrew.
Your objective marker will direct you toward Glenbright Manor, so make your way there. As soon as you approach the manor, you will see someone throwing bodies out of the door.

Go inside, and you will see multiple bodies lying around. Just as you step further, you will be ambushed by strange enemies. Defeat all of them and then continue inside the manor.
Head to the upper floor and go to the room on the left. You will see a man dying. When you talk to him, you will realize that he has seen your friends, and they were fighting until they escaped from the window.

Using your lantern, you can point it toward the window in order to get a trace of their tracks. You need to keep holding the lantern for the trail to remain visible.
Follow it until you reach a small house guarded by two guards. Inside, Naira and Andrew will be talking to their escort, who seems to be important; it appears to be a count.

During the cutscene, they will be attacked by the famous Reed Devil. He will stab Andrew and then kill the Count. Just as Naira tries to fight back, he will kick her out of the house. Kliff will join the fight, but the Reed Devil will run away.
Kliff will inform the two Greymanes to go to the camp where everyone will be waiting, and he will track down this monster himself and put an end to it.
Track The Devil Of The Reed Field

In order to track Reed Devil, you need to use your lantern to follow his trail and make your way to the area where you will fight him.
Along the way, you will be ambushed by many of his minions, and every now and then he will appear and attack you as well, so you need to be careful.

When he does, you can either try to damage him until he disappears or simply keep running up the hill. Either way, eventually you will reach an open field where you will find an altar.

Approach the altar, and a cutscene will start where Kliff will pick up a strange straw figure, and the Reed Devil will begin talking to you. Shortly after, he will start attacking Kliff, and this will trigger the boss fight against him.
Defeat Reed Field

Before you even attempt to fight this guy, you need to have plenty of healing items, whether they are prepared meals or raw ingredients. In addition to that, have your gear upgraded at least to level two or three.
Now, Reed Devil is a proper boss fight with two health bars that you need to deplete. He uses a sword with swift attacks and is fast and aggressive on the field. A lot of the time, he teleports around to throw you off.

Thankfully, he does not have many attacks, so during the first phase, you need to study and memorize them.
One of his most common moves is disappearing from sight before instantly reappearing behind you for a swift upward slash.
He can repeat this several times in a row, so staying calm and parrying at the right moment is important, since successful parries quickly build his stagger and give you a strong opening to deal damage.

He will also teleport behind you and begin charging his blade before sending multiple sword waves flying toward you.
Trying to block or parry this drains too much stamina, so your best option is to dodge.

The next move happens when he pulls his blade back and suddenly dashes forward, unleashing a rapid three-hit combo at close range.

The moment the first slash connects within your reach, parry immediately to interrupt the combo and briefly stagger him. This gives you another great opportunity to land a few hits.
Destroy The Totems

After you deplete the first health bar, Reed Devil will summon four clones of himself, and there will be four totems around the field.
Do not bother fighting the clones, as you need to focus on destroying these totems as quickly as possible.

This is extremely dangerous, as all five clones can attack you at once and potentially kill you.
Try to run to the farthest totem, destroy it, and lure the clones closer to you before moving on to the next one.
The Second Phase

After you destroy all four, the fight will return to the same as the first phase, only it will be even more aggressive, and Reed Devil will imbue his attacks with several energy waves that travel toward you.

Just use the same techniques from the first phase, and you should be fine. If you get knocked down during the second phase, we recommend using a Palmar Pill to revive yourself and finish the fight.
Despite winning the fight, it seems the Reed Devil will simply disappear.
Pioneering

There is nothing more to do now except head back to the camp. Check on Andrew’s condition; it seems he is doing better, and they are taking care of him.
Next, you need to speak to Marius. He has been doing his research and wants you to gather more people for the camp. Yann will arrive at the base and interrupt this.

Returning to Marius’ offer, you need to head to the sawmill near the Coalvale Workshop. Here, you will see a man sitting on the ground. Kliff approaches him and recognizes his companions, Luke and Ronald.

Send them back to the camp and return there yourself. At the entrance, you notice something strange on the Greymane shrine. Interact with the dragon statue nearby, and you will receive Shakatu’s Letter.
Open your inventory and examine this letter. This will prompt you to learn about expanding your own camp and dispatching members on missions.
Expand The Howling Hill

Now to test things out, you need to dispatch members on a mission. You can do this by opening the map and hovering over the camp. Hit the Inspect button, which is Triangle in our case, and this will bring up the dispatch menu.
Go to Missions and select the Howling Hill Camp Expansion. Pick both Luke and Ronald to send them on the mission.

The process takes a few hours to complete, so you can head to the nearby pot and skip 12 hours. This should progress the process up to 60 percent. From here, you just need to complete some side quests until it finishes.
Greymanes Reunited

Once it reaches 100 percent, head back to the camp and rejoin your Greymane family. You will see that the camp has been expanded and there are more structures here.
This is the time to celebrate, so sit back, have a drink and food, and enjoy.
