Crisol: Theater of Idols is truly a bone-chilling first-person survival horror experience developed by Vermila Studios. It is unique in the sense that your combat is directly tied to your health bar, which separates this game from others in the genre. For more information, you can visit the game’s official Steam page.
Now that you’ve absorbed Hermina Espinia’s blood, it is time to move on to the next target. That also means progressing through chapter two, and this walkthrough will guide you through Legacy of Ash in Crisol: Theater of Idols.

Traveling To The Ram District
After ending the first chapter, you will make your way back to the hub area, also known as The Fair. Make sure to purchase weapon upgrades from La Planidera, who can be found right at the center of the hub area.
You can even play some games and gather tickets to unlock more upgrades before starting your journey through the second chapter. The entrance to the Ram District can be found in the bottom right corner of the map and can be accessed using the stairs opposite the shop.
The Stealth Section
As soon as you enter the district, Mediodia will inform you about the location of your next target. Lorenzo Hierro is the big bad in this chapter, waiting for you atop Mount Tenaza.
Just as you progress further, Hierro makes an appearance from afar and starts hunting you down with a sniper. This next section requires careful stealth and relies on a lot of crouching and running. Thankfully, there are many objects on your path that can be used to shield you from Hierro’s sharp eyes.
Make a sharp right at the end and slide through the small space in between the shipping containers. Padre Arroyo will now advise you to use the mines to reach Hierro, as a direct approach leads to certain death.
Accessing The Elevator
You will come across the entrance to the Hoist at the end of your path. Use the switch to unlock it, and then take the right path inside the building.
Keep following this path until you arrive at another similar switch, which will unlock a sealed door in front. There is another final switch inside the newly unlocked room, which needs to be turned on in order to access the elevator.
Some enemies will jump you in this section, but they are the weak statues that can be dealt with easily. After using the last switch, head to the entrance of the building and now go for the path that is on your left.
You will now arrive at the elevator; however, calling it will spawn in some more of those statue enemies, so stay prepared for combat. Use the elevator to ascend the building in order to reach your next location.
Powering The Hoist
After making your way up, move into the next room to pick up some gasoline on your left. You can use the stairs to reach the ground floor again, and this will unlock your first save point.
You will find a letter in the power switchboard room next to the save point, which will instruct you to restore power to the Hoist. This is your next main objective in the second chapter. Next, enter the room in front of the save point, and you’ll come across a map of the area.
Outside the power room, there are four buildings marked A, B, C, and D. You will explore each of these buildings one by one.
Exploring Building A
Right outside the power switchboard room, you will come across a human corpse. Absorb this corpse to obtain Master Switch A, which can be used back in the power room.
Insert the switch into the control panel and rotate the wires within the usage limit so that they align with the ones shown in the image above. This will unlock Building A for further exploration.
Continue through the building and watch out for an explosion near its entrance. Keep following the straight path ahead until a cutscene introduces a new enemy type. This interaction results in a fire that must be put out to progress further.
Take the path to your right in order to redirect the flow of water. Enter another building and use the ladder inside to descend. Be prepared to face off against another horde of enemies in this area. Continue forward until you reach another ladder that will take you upwards.
The Breaker Room Puzzle
The next room requires you to do a bit of platforming, and the game rewards you with a sniper rifle atop the stairs. Keep following the unblocked route ahead and use your sniper rifle to take out the flying enemies.
Take a left, and you’ll arrive in a room where electricity is blocking your progress. Shut down the breaker on the left, but be quick because Dolores appears and starts following you.
Taking a right reveals a bigger complex where you’ll have to shut down multiple breakers to continue progressing. Finding the breakers is the easy part; just watch out for Dolores as she will continue this cat-and-mouse game.
After shutting down the third breaker in the room, use the ladder to reach the final breaker, which will grant you a final exit from the puzzle.
You will also get rewarded with a wrench after clearing the breaker room. This will allow you to fix the various gas leaks that have been blocking your path so far.
Fix the gas leak that you will encounter right after picking up the wrench, and that should unlock your path to the factories.
Fixing The Fire
Exit through the factories, and you should arrive back near the fire. However, now you can fix the gas leak and use the ladder to head upwards.
Rotate the mechanism that you find on the roof, and you will be one step closer to stopping the fire. This will also unlock another save point in the chapter.
Continue beyond the save point, and the game will lock you into another encounter with Dolores. Tread carefully here because there are mines on the floor and archers on the roofs.
Use the breakers here to unlock your access to the roof, but proceed with stealth. Enter the garage with N-01, N-02, and N-03 markings.
- Each garage has a lever at the top.
- The levers in N-01 and N-03 should be pulled up twice.
- The lever in N-02 should be pulled upwards only once.
After setting this sequence, exit through the N-03 garage, and you should head back to the fire. Turn the mechanism, and the water should now flow normally, which would result in the fire being stopped. This unlocks another human body for you to absorb, which will give you access to Master Switch B.
Exploring Building B
Bring the Master Switch B back to the power switchboard room and insert it into the control panel. You should now redirect power to B on the control panel by aligning the wires as shown in the image above. Building B will become available for exploration now.
Before heading out, make sure to purchase more upgrades and skills if you can, as you won’t be seeing the merchant for quite some time.
Fuse Box Puzzle
You will exit from Building B into a larger section. As soon as you get here, go straight ahead and turn right to find a fuse box inside a large container.
Turn on the first, third, and fourth switches to unlock the room and get your hands on some extra supplies before heading out for your main objective. These supplies can be reached through a vent, which can be spotted once the door unlocks.
Entering El Picadero
Head out from the fuse box room and move forward until you arrive at a gate on your left. Enter the next room, move the platform, and climb into the vents to make your way to the El Picadero.
Once you enter El Picadero, your next goal will be to ascend. Use the stairs to go upwards and stay ready for a small brawl with a few archer enemies.
Obtaining The Brake Lever
After arriving at the top of El Picadero, you must take the right path to reach the brake lever. Keep following this unblocked route until you have to make a jump.
Immediately following the downward jump, make a U-turn and you should arrive at the location of the brake lever. You will now be able to manipulate brakes on mining carts to unlock more areas.
Now, you can head back to the entrance of El Picadero using the shortcut found outside this building. Here, the mining cart can be moved to unlock a new path.
The Conveyor Belt Puzzle
Moving the mining cart should grant you access to a new room with another puzzle. You must correctly move the meat through three different conveyor belt mechanisms.
For the first mechanism, toggle the green dial once, then wait for the meat to reach the left side. Toggle the green dial again quickly to move the flesh to the next section.
The next mechanism will require you to work swiftly. Rotate the green dial first, followed by the white dial. Once the flesh passes through the white machine, repeat the cycle. Then lastly, rotate the green dial one final time to continue further.
This final mechanism is a tough one to tackle. Firstly, rotate the green dial once and then again once the meat passes through the first green machine. Then rotate the blue and white dials as the flesh passes through these mechanisms. Repeat the cycle with the blue and white dials again, and the puzzle should be complete.
You will be rewarded with flesh that you can absorb to get your hands on the Master Switch C. Slowly, but surely, you are getting closer to the final objective of the chapter.
Exploring Building C
With the Master Switch C in your inventory, head back to the power switchboard room one more time. A door should open up after picking the master switch, which will lead you directly back.
Insert the switch into the control panel, and just like before, align the wires as shown in the image above to power the switch.
After entering Building C, there is only one straight path for you to follow. Keep following this long stretch across various rooms and slide through the narrow passage at the end.
The next section houses a number of flying enemies, so the sniper rifle will be really useful here. After clearing out the enemies, follow the path to reach a ladder that leads to an underground section.
The Underground Section
This section is like a maze, and you can get lost easily here. No need to worry, however, just follow the route as mentioned in order. Go straight ahead, take the first left, then the right, and another left again.
Kill the enemies in the next section and keep heading straight. Squeeze through the tight path at the end and take a left. Clear out the enemies here and then take a right from this room. Take another right to reach a ladder, which will lead you to the dam.
The Dam Puzzle
You will need to align the platforms above the dam to unlock your path forward. This maneuver consists of moving five dials with precision.
- Starting from left, move the second dial downwards once.
- Next, rotate the third dial upwards once.
- Move on to the last dial and rotate it downwards a single time.
- Then rotate the first dial upwards twice.
- Lastly, move the fourth dial upwards twice to complete the puzzle.
Use the newly unlocked platform to go to the other side of the dam. Here, you can rotate a mechanism to drain the water, which will allow you to absorb another human body. This will unlock the final Master Switch D for use.
Returning To The Power Switchboard Room
The way back is another maze that you must traverse to reach the power room. After obtaining the last master switch, head straight into the tunnel. Take a right, followed by a left to reach a ladder in this area.
After climbing the ladder, take the first right and keep heading straight until you come across a gas leakage mechanism on your left.
In the same room, you will need to move a platform to access an air vent for further progress. This will lead you to another mechanism where you must use the wrench again.
Next, you should turn back and go left. A new path should be open on your left side, which will lead to the mechanical lever that will open the gate for your exit. You’ll need to be quick here because the lever resets after some time.
After crossing the gate, you should follow the path straight ahead, which will lead you to a ladder. This ladder is your exit point through the entire section of Building C.
Accessing The Mines
Place the Master Switch D into the control panel and align the wires as shown above. This is the final time that you will have to revisit this place in the chapter.
You can now use the newly unlocked hoist to access the mines in Chapter 2. However, before doing so, make sure that you are prepared to face a boss battle. Visit the merchant one final time before you leave.
The Petreo Boss Fight
At the end of the mine, you will come across an elevator, and interacting with it will start the boss battle with Petreo.
Petreo is not that hard to beat; its moveset is quite slow. Running around the arena will help you dodge almost all of its attacks. However, Petreo’s hits can take off a large chunk of your health, so make sure that you’re always mobile and are not missing your shots.
Catching Lorenzo Hierro
Use the elevator after defeating Petreo, and that should lead you straight to the entrapped Lorenzo Hierro. A cutscene will trigger here, after which you can absorb Lorenzo’s body to obtain his dagger.
Another cutscene plays here, which ends with the supposed death of Dolores. The main exit will open up after this cutscene, and you can use that make your way back to The Fair.
