Getting Started
After the long starting cutscene ends, you gain control of your character. You find yourself on a mysterious island with broken ships nearby. Go through the broken bridge in front of you and walk towards the ledge to climb it. Get inside the water to move to the other side over the ledge.
Ignore the first gate on your left and keep moving straight ahead to go through the narrow opening. You need to turn on Crouch mode to go through it. Go to the upper ledge past the shovel and walk towards the ledge to advance along the wall. Once there, follow the path on the left side till you find a large castle with four statues outside.
Finding an Alternate Way
Approach the wooden double door and hold the X button to open it. This is the prison of the Lord of the Sea. Continue moving straight and descend from the stairs. The path in front of you is blocked, so you need to find another way around.
Turn to the right and start moving till you cross the small tunnel. Get inside the beer shop in front of you and collect the Silver Bulls (Coins) from the safety deposit box. Go through the path with Felices Fiestas written above it with the lights. You get inside the castle after taking a few steps. Collect the Silver Bulls from the bench at the end of this main hall.
Find the Scared Lady
Take the stairs from the left and keep moving up. Make sure to hold the ‘L’ button towards an obstacle to automatically leap over it.
Go past the wounded animal on the way and turn to the right to descend from the stairs. Right after moving down the stairs, take the right turn, and keep moving till you encounter the well in the middle.
It seems like the whole colony is fully abandoned due to some unknown reason.
Go to the left of the well and get inside the shop from the front side. Approach the counter and collect the coins from the deposit box.
Get out of the shop and move to the right side of the well. Take the left turn to get inside the other shop. Approach the counter to obtain more Silver Bulls.
Move inside the room on the right and crawl through the blocked path. Open the exit door and walk towards the ladder to climb it. Move to the right and crawl again to reach the end.
Jump from the window to get inside the building. Get inside the basement and approach the furniture to interact with it. This allows you to move it and unlock the secret area. You find a lady standing in front of you who gets afraid of you.
Eliminate the Statue Enemy in the Church
After moving the furniture, go through the tunnel and open the chest from the right side to collect Silver Bulls. Anyhow, move back and take the stairs to interact with the giant door in front of you.
You find two bulls beaten to death in the middle of this area. You wield a gun now.
Approach the door of the church in front of you to get inside. This floor of the church is filled with blood, so stay alert.
You hear a scream from the lady on the microphone. Approach the statue at the end and pick up the walkie-talkie to speak with her. Once you’re done talking to her, the statue in front of you starts rushing towards you to attack you.
A cutscene starts, showcasing the mysterious power of the sun speaking to you. Once you wake up, your gun is transformed into a deadly weapon.
You use your own blood to deal damage to enemies in a fight. The same statue rises again and moves towards you to attack again. Use your weapon wisely to eliminate this enemy quickly. Only four shots from this weapon are enough to kill her.
Find the Other Well
Once defeated, interact with the furniture on the right side, where the statue was before it got alive. Explore this new area thoroughly to get more clues. Go to the right side of this room and exit through the gate there.
You get unconscious and hear the mysterious voices. Hold the ‘X’ button to absorb the blood of the dead creature in front of you.
This ability is Feed of Blood that allows you to absorb blood from dead animals. The body disappears after you absorb it, so try not to waste it.
Use this ability on the animals near the well to gain HP. Go to the right in front of the house with the blocked entrance. You take out your knife which has also now transformed with the blood theme.
Press R1 to attack with your knife. If timed correctly, your slash can also block most enemy attacks.
Your knife loses durability with use, so use it carefully. If it becomes completely worn down, it loses its ability to block, and its damage is reduced to a minimum. Make sure to find the sharpener’s motorbike to repair the knife.
Use this melee weapon to destroy the planks blocking the path.
Absorb the blood of the deal animals in front of you after using this weapon. Once done, get out of the room and interact with the garbage bin in front of the building.
This allows you to clear the path and get inside the room. Approach the well in the middle of this area and use your gun to defeat two enemies.
Landing shots with precision is highly recommended, as you lose blood while using your weapon. Once defeated, take the stairs and get inside the room on the left.
Get inside the other room from here on the right and jump over the table. Take the stairs from the end of this room to reach the upper floor. Go to the balcony and interact with the box on the small round table.
Find Sharpener’s Motorbike
You gain Plasmarine, which is a syringe filled with a thick, shimmering liquid. This is a medical compound that rapidly regenerates blood and heals wounds in seconds.
You can find syringes spread throughout Termentosa. Move back to the room and interact with the furniture to move it.
An enemy rushes inside the room from the balcony. Make your way out of this room from the balcony and drop to the lower wooden platform. Keep dropping down till you get out of the building.
Collect the coins from the well and go through the tunnel on the left. That scared lady starts talking to you on walkie-talkie. Keep following the straight path and turn to the left.
Interact with the metal dustbin at the end to acquire Silver Bulls. Approach the deal animal near the blocked path and use your ability to absorb its blood. Use the blood to reload your gun before moving on.
Take the stairs from the right and open the gate to get inside the other building. Keep following the path and drop down from the balcony to get to the new area.
Move to the left of the container and crawl to get inside it. Interact with the box to acquire another syringe. Take the steps out and go to the right of this container to pass through the narrow path.
Once there, get ready to defeat two enemies. Go through another narrow path and absorb the blood of the dead animals over the wooden box.
Get inside the room on the right and interact with the Sharpener’s Motorbike. Use gasoline to turn on the motorbike and sharpen your knife. Every time you use the Sharpener’s motorbike, your knife regains full durability.
The Green Truck
Climb the yellow ladder from here to reach the upper floor of this building. Continue moving till you encounter another enemy with a melee weapon in its hand. This enemy charges towards you quickly to attack you, so get ready to dodge.
Once defeated or avoided, go to the room in front of you and use the knife to destroy the box to obtain the syringe. Open the next door and take the stairs from the right to move inside the dining room.
Interact with another door and move to the left to get out of this building. After taking a few steps ahead, a green truck arrives with multiple enemies loaded.
Shut down the Power
Defeat these enemies or just run past them to get to the area from where the truck came. Approach the deal animal and use the ability to absorb its blood to gain health.
Move to the upper ledge from the right side before the enemies chase you down. Go through the window and interact with the cupboard on the right to collect Silver Bulls.
Once collected, open the next door in front of you and move inside the bedroom on the right hallway. A mysterious red shadow appears here, looking out of the window while holding a shotgun.
Go to the balcony and keep following the path on the left, and find a ladder to drop down. You’re now in front of another well, so move to the path on the left.
Absorb the blood of the dead creature here. There’s a truck in front of you near the water. This body of water, however, is electrified, so you have to shut down the power. Go to the room on the right and collect coins from the deposit box. Get inside the kitchen and open the door on the left to get inside the room with a staircase.
Take the stairs to move up and defeat the enemy before getting inside the next room. Collect the syringe from the drawer near the bed.
Jump out of the window from this room and move to the end of this wooden platform to hit the lever. Doing so allows you to cut the power, making it easier to approach the truck.
Crash the Truck
Take the stairs from this switch to move down. Go all the way to the left and interact with the door of the truck to obtain the key.
Hold the ‘X’ button while looking at the dead driver to absorb his blood. Once done, get inside the truck to drive it.
Use the truck key from the inventory and hold ‘X’ to start the ignition. Keep holding the button down till the needle reaches the green section. You need to do this three times to start the truck.
Press ‘L’ to hit the barrier in front of you with the truck.
A deadly monster arrives at the back, and a small cutscene commences, showcasing the truck crashing.
Get to the Castle
Once you wake up, go to the right, and the lady from before starts speaking to you on the walkie-talkie. Go through the narrow opening from the blocked path and continue moving.
Absorb the blood of the deal animal in front of you and go over the ledge on the right. Go up the stairs from the left and turn to the left to keep moving up the stairs.
Destroy the wooden box on the left after taking the stairs to obtain the syringe. Go to the room on the right, avoid the two enemies here, and use the ladder to move up.
Once there, jump out from the window and collect the coins from the small round table on the right.
Continue moving to the left till you see red shadows of multiple people. Go past them and take the staircase to move into the elevator at the end. This time, a man starts talking to you on walkie-talkie.
You find yourself in front of the castle after moving up using the elevator. Take a few steps ahead and turn to the right to collect the Silver Bulls from the chest.
Return to the linear path and go through the stairs and interact with the main door of the castle to get inside.
This whole area is filled with dead animals and blood all over the floor. Continue moving straight towards the statue at the end.
Approach the dead body of the man near the statue and use the ability to absorb his blood. This allows you to gain the Castilla Dagger.
A cutscene occurs after acquiring this dagger, showcasing a giant creature tearing the scared lady apart.
Once the cutscene ends, so does the prologue of the game.
