Crown Of Greed – Walkthrough Part 3

Crown Of Greed Walkthrough

Crown of Greed allows you to command your heroes through contracts. You’ll have to complete different quests in several scenarios as you make progress. As the game goes on, you’ll encounter tougher challenges, and you’ll have to give it your all to come out victorious.

For more information on the game, please visit its official Steam page here.

Part 3 of the walkthrough includes the final five scenarios: The Creaking Hut, Sins of the Ancestors, Gates of Hell, Cult of Shadows, and the Lord of Greed.

Sins Of The Ancestors

In this scenario, you’ll have to clear the enemies surrounding the blood tree and defend against the invasions of the undead army.

In the beginning, you’ll have to focus on your forces, and you may notice the rivers flowing through the area. These rivers stop you from exploring some areas, but all of the water bodies in the area will become frozen on Day 7.

Once you’ve cleared the surrounding enemies of the blood tree, you’ll have to find the heart of the ice wolf and light some ritual bonfires.

There are around four bonfires, and the ice wolf can be found in the middle of the map. If you can light all the bonfires and get the ice wolf’s heart by Day 16, you’ll be able to weaken the undead army.

However, even if you don’t do the optional ritual, you’ll still have to face the undead army on day 17. If you can withstand the attack and defeat all the undead, that will end the scenario.

The Legendary Feast

It is an optional quest in this scenario where you have to locate a legendary hunter. You’ll first have to head to the northern edge of the map, and here, you’ll find a giant’s cave.

Destroy the giant’s cave, and you’ll find the legendary hunter stuck inside it, who will become free. The hunter will then join your ranks.

The Creaking Hut

The Creaking Hut scenario features Baba Yaga, a witch who has a hut that walks on chicken legs, wreaking havoc wherever it goes. You’ll have to withstand its periodic assaults and protect the nearby villages.

As the game begins, you’ll have to immediately focus on building hero headquarters and guard towers near every village. You don’t need to build economic buildings, such as an inn or marketplace, because each of the villages has one such building.

On Day 5, Baba Yaga will attack with her hut for the first time. She’ll attack the southern village first. Make sure you’ve built at least two guard towers and have at least 15 heroes in your arsenal.

Here, your top priority is to stop the hut from destroying your buildings. You won’t be able to deal enough damage to it yet, but if you can keep it occupied, it will shortly leave.

The Hut On Chicken Legs

Baba Yaga then keeps attacking your kingdom periodically from different sides. You’ll have to slowly expand your kingdom by destroying nearby habitats and enemy lairs.

Even if the hut manages to destroy the villages, you can just build the economic buildings again. What matters here is that you keep continuously building your forces.

After every attack, Baba Yaga will call her hut to retreat when it takes a certain amount of damage, so you won’t be able to fully destroy it. However, on Day 19, you’ll be able to face the hut to the end, and you will be able to destroy it.

Once the hut is destroyed, you’ll then have to wait for Baba Yaga to attack you herself. A few days after you’ve destroyed her hut, Baba Yaga will attack your kingdom from the north.

After you’ve defeated the witch, you’ll be able to end the scenario. Completing the Creaking Hut and the Sins of the Ancestor will unlock the Gates of Hell and the Cult of Shadows scenarios.

Gates Of Hell

In this scenario, you have to destroy the three hell fortresses that are on the eastern side of the map. You have to do so to bring out the overlord from the shadows.

The longer you wait, the stronger the overlord’s forces will become, and that’s why your advisor keeps pushing you to lead the attack more quickly. However, the longer you wait, the stronger your forces will become as well.

Demon’s Fury

As you build your forces and destroy the nearby habitats and enemy lairs, you’ll come across some Obsidian Apex towers. These towers strengthen the overlord’s forces, and you’ll have to find and destroy them all.

You can find the first Obsidian Apex towards the north of the map. The second Obsidian Apex is towards the south-southeast part of the map, near the gold vein. The final Obsidian Apex is just before the middle hell fortress.

Keep in mind that you can only attack the Obsidian Apex towers during the day. Your heroes won’t even approach the tower during the night.

A Husband For The Ghost

In the south of the map, you’ll find an altar surrounded by enemies. If you destroy the enemies, you’ll find the ghost of a bride here. The advisor suggests bringing a night here to wed him to the ghost.

Now, you’ll have to bring a knight that is at least level 12 to the altar. Unfortunately, the knights are terrible at following exploration contracts, but you can still build a goldmine on the nearby vein and offer a defense contract on it to bring the knight here.

Sinister Seige

After you’ve destroyed all three hell fortresses, the overlord will finally decide to show up. You’ll then have to fight against the demonic army and defeat the overlord. Make sure you have at least 40 heroes to withstand the attack.

After you’ve defeated the overlord, this will end the Gates of Hell scenario.

Cult Of Shadows

The Cult of Shadows scenario features several cultist circles that you have to destroy. The cultists will open a portal that will unleash evil forces on your kingdom if you fail to destroy these cutlist circles.

Unlike other scenarios, you can only build limited types of buildings here. For other types of buildings, you’ll have to gain the aid of other settlements in the land here.

One of the cultist circles is toward the north of the map, while the other two are located far to the east. Even if you’re unable to destroy all of the cultist circles before day 20, you can still triumph by destroying the circles later.

Here, you only have to work with two workers for most of the early game. You’ll have to prioritize each structure that you want to build quickly, and then set its priority back to normal once the building is completed.

Once you’ve destroyed all the cultist circles, you’ll have to prepare to face one final attack. If you manage to survive the attack, you’ll be able to end the scenario with your victory.

Forbidden Forest

There’s a small mercenary settlement towards the northwest of the castle. If you send one of your heroes here, they’ll ask you to get rid of the spider nests nearby.

There are some spider nests and a spider queen further northwest of the settlement. You’ll have to destroy all the nests and defeat the queen, and the settlement will be willing to offer you their aid.

You’ll find an arena and a marketplace here, as well as a Sharpshooter’s headquarters and a barracks.

Mass Grave

There’s a monastery and a priestess of the night’s headquarters towards the east of the mercenary settlement, near the centre of the map. If your heroes approach it, they’ll ask you to find ancient burial grounds and lay the dead to rest.

You can find these ancient burial grounds towards the extreme east. There’s a barrow here that you’ll have to destroy. Once that is done, these holy and night priestesses will join your party, alongside their library, and they also have a mausoleam so you’ll be able to resurrect your dead heroes.

Relic Trade

There’s a small settlement of dryads and druids towards the north of the map, by the road. When you get there, they’ll ask you to find a relic from the nearby ruins, as well as for you to build an outpost near the village.

There are some ruins directly east of the dryad settlement. There’s a white coffin here. Send some of your heroes to scout the area, and they might open up this coffin, and you’ll find the relic here.

Lord Of Greed

Lord of Greed is the final scenario, where the three-headed dragon, Dargrothan, is after your kingdom. As the scenario begins, your advisor will inform you about a nearby settlement and ask you to send your heroes there.

However, before you can set up your buildings, Dargrothan will arrive and destroy the settlement. Now, you just have to focus on building your forces.

Dargrothan is invulnerable to your attacks, but you can still keep him occupied so he doesn’t destroy any of your buildings. He’ll then return to his lair after a while of wreaking havoc.

If you can survive Dargothan’s attack on Day 5, you’ll get new quest requirements where you have to gather 50,000 gold while surviving Dargothan’s frequent attacks on your kingdom.

Now, you have to expand. Destroy nearby habitats and enemy settlements. Build an outpost and a gold vein wherever you can.

Filthy Swamps

There’s an alchemist’s shack towards the east. If you go there, the alchemist will ask you to get rid of the witches from the swamps.

If you go further east, towards the edge of the map, you’ll find a swamp with some witch’s huts. Destroy these witches’ huts and the alchemist will reward you with a potion that will strengthen your heroes, and some gold that will help you reach your goal more quickly.

Greed Routes

There’s a Guardian Guild towards the west of the map. They ask you to destroy the cultist circle nearby.

You’ll find this cultist circle towards the eastern edge of the map. Defeat the nearby cutlists and destroy the circle. The guardians will offer you their aid.

They’ll give you some gold, and some of their soldiers will defend your castle.

Demon Spawns

After Day 15, your advisor will ask you to locate the source of the demonic power. You can find a hell fortress to the north of the map. Send your forces there to destroy the fortress.

Once the hell fortress is destroyed, you have to wait to collect the required amount of gold for Dargrothan. Once you’ve collected the gold, a caravan will set off from the castle to Dragrothan’s lair to the north.

You’ll have to defend the caravan, or all will be lost. Set up a defense contract on the caravan so your heroes can escort it to Dragrothan’s lair.

Once the caravan reaches its destination, Dragrothan will fall asleep. You have to attack Dragrothan’s Lair to destroy it.

After you’ve destroyed his lair, the dragon will no longer be invulnerable. Even if the dragon shows a golden circle around it, you’ll still be able to deal damage to it.

Dragrothan will attack you for the last time, and here, you have to defeat him. After you’ve defeated the dragon, that will mark the completion of the game’s campaign, and the credits will roll.
