Reaching Emmet at the End of The Train

The chapter begins with Emmet trailing behind the train on his Postal Bike, trying to catch up. Refusing to leave him behind, Dr. Watson decides to scale the side of the train to get to Emmet and try to bring him back.

After the cutscene, Dr. Watson will be hanging on to the hooks of the coal cart of the train. Move him to the right by pulling on his cloth and guiding him to the next hooks.

Move along all four hooks to reach the first passenger cart. Guide Watson so that he can grab onto the door handles.

Open the door by pulling on it from the left as Watson hangs onto it. When he loses his grip, push him up by pulling him from the bottom.

Open the window on the right and guide Watson to it. The next window is out of reach, so grab the flagpole on the roof and spin it.

This will drop the flag, and you can guide Watson toward it. As you open the next window, a Watson Clone comes out, blocking your path.

You can interact with the window with the Watson Clone to get him stuck for a while.

Rotate the flagpole to lift Watson to the top of the train. You’ll see a toolbox on the roof of the train. Push it one position to the left.

Then, drag the toolbox from the bottom so that the tools fly out of it toward the door below. When the saw flies out, it will cut the rope that’s holding the door closed.

Now push the toolbox all the way to the left. Then have Watson go down so that the Watson Clone comes out. Get the Watson Clone stuck on the window.

Quickly rotate the flagpole to get to the top and start dragging the toolbox from the bottom until the hammer flies out and hits the Watson Clone in the head.

Go back down and head to the window on the right. Then open the door and use the door handle to move across. You’ll soon reach the next train cart.

When you reach the door handle of the next train cart, swing it open to move Watson to the right. There’s a lock on a cabinet inside the compartment that you can see through the door.
Also note the hooks along the sides of the cart. Open the two windows next to Watson.

When you move over, a Watson Clone will block the second window. Open the window next to the clone on the right.

Then, pull on the fake Watson to move it to the last window. Move Watson to the middle window. Then pull on the fake Watson to move him all the way to the left window. You’ll see the Sheep Watson on the last window holding a set of keys in its mouth.

Interact with the key and toss it to the hook.

Guide the key across the cart all the way to the lock that you saw earlier using the hooks. Move the fake Watson in the window when needed.

When you get the key into the lock, the cabinet opens, revealing a bunch of apples.

Move the fake Watson to the left window while the real Watson is hanging on the doorknob. Then shoot an apple at the fake Watson.

The fake Watson grabs it in his mouth. Move the fake Watson to the window next to the Sheep Watson. Then close the window on top of the fake Watson. This will hurl the apple from the fake Watson’s mouth into the Sheep Watson.

The sheep Watson moves out of the way, and you can head over to the next cart. But as you grab the door, it falls off. Rotate the door hinge to pull it back up.

When you climb up, you’ll see the Bird Watson perched on the roof of the train. The next window is out of reach, so grab the Bird Watson and pull from above to launch it downwards.

Use the Bird Watson to get to the next window.

Up ahead, you’ll see the last window has a curtain on it, so you can’t grab the ledge. There’s also a lantern hanging by the rope and a pulley to control the rope’s length on your right.

Rotate the pulley to make the rope as long as it can go. Then have Watson move over to the pulley and drag the lantern to the train’s wheel so that it catches fire.

Climb back up to the window on the left and pull the lantern up using the pulley. Then open the window with the curtain and drag the lit lantern to the curtain to burn it away.

Wait for the lantern to go out. Then use the pulley and the lantern to reach the window on the right.

Head over to the right to reach the end of the train and trigger a cutscene
Get Dr. Watson and Emmet Back on the Train

After the cutscene, Dr. Watson and Emmet will be on the bicycle racing behind the train trying to reach Emma’s outstretched hand.

This is a straightforward segment, but might take a couple of tries because of the timings. As you’re following the train, rotate the back tire of the bicycle to give Emmet a speed boost.

Along the way, you’ll see a danger sign up ahead indicating a rock that’s coming up. To jump over the rock, pull Emmet’s clothes downwards and he’ll jump over the rock.

But you have to get the timing right, or you’ll get hit by the rock and go further away from the train.

When you get close enough to Emma, you’ll be able to drag Watson’s hands to Emma’s, triggering another cutscene.
Find a Way to Get the Three Characters Together

After a long cutscene, everyone goes back to their reality except Dr. Watson. Choosing to save Emma, Dr. Watson heroically jumps into the void, where he finds Flat Watson and Flat Sherlock floating around him.

To make matters worse, intergalactic tentacles are popping up around Dr. Watson, trying to grab him. If it grabs you, interact with Dr. Watson and complete the QTE to free him.

For this segment, grab Dr. Watson‘s clothes and intercept the intergalactic tentacle with it as it charges at you.

Do this three more times to form a cluster of intergalactic tentacles. Then, as Flat Watson or Flat Sherlock flies around you, drag the cluster toward them to grab them.

Interact with the Flat Character stuck in the tentacle and pass the QTE to push them toward Dr. Watson so he can grab them.

You have to repeat the same steps for the remaining character. However, this time, three intergalactic tentacles will appear at once. Only one of them will attack, though, so look out for the one that vibrates and intercept it.

Once you grab the second Flat Character, you have to make the group spin. To do that, rotate Dr. Watson’s clothes a few times.

If an intergalactic tentacle appears during this, interact with it and clear the QTE to push it away.

Once you gain enough momentum, Dr. Watson gets launched through the void and comes out at the Wall of Fate.
Then, enjoy the final cutscenes of the game.
