Flower Castle – Jail

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Ralsei As A Butler.

Thanks to Aqua and Seth’s mistake, Susie and Kris manage to leave the castle’s jail. From here, go right, save the game, and reunite with Ralsei. As he drops the butler costume, climb the ladder to reach the castle’s next floor. From the massive tree shaped as two Asgores holding Flowery, go left to explore it further; the right path leads to a cafe.

Flower Castle – Left Path

The Sprout At Flower Castle’s Entrance.

Go left first, and there you will have to fight two Shinobeetle. Use the Convince act to gain mercy, and then spare them. Once spared/defeated, continue moving left to find Asgore and Flowery, farming old notes to prove something.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Fighting Against Two Shinobeetle.

Asgore is also looking for the Roaring Knight, since they were the ones who caused a “tragedy” in town. Knowing their existence, he can prove to everyone that there was no conspiracy, and the Knight is actually a real being who caused “that” event.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Asgore Checking His Notes.

When their conversation ends, move left and activate Petal Feather with the statue. Break the flower wall and stand on the platform to avoid the gun’s circular attacks. Use Ralsei’s act to pull it down, then hit the gun to break it. In the room’s corner, hit the flower with an upward arrow to climb the platforms above.

Keep moving left and using the flowers to ascend the castle, and eventually you’ll reach another Petal Feather statue. Break the notes wall, and the Fun Gang will try to figure out what it says. According to Ralsei, these are notes about a Dark World from long ago, and it’s written by none other than Asgore, confirming that he knew about their existence before the events of chapter 1.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Asgore Praising The Golden Breastplate.

In the next room, there are two doors: Blue and Golden, both of which are locked. Move forward, activate the Petal Feather, then get ready to fight a pistol bullet pattern. The fight is easy. Avoid the bullets, and when the gun gets tired, use Ralsei’s platform act to pull it down. Stand on him and hit it repeatedly. The gun retreats, but the battle hasn’t ended yet. As you run, jump through the circles to avoid getting hit, and repeat the process on the gun to destroy it.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Standing In The Middle Of A Circular Attack Of Yellow’s Gun.

Ahead, you will find the Yellow Key, but a mysterious individual named Yellow. He tries to stop them from taking the key as they destroyed Blue’s flowers.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Susie Gaslighting Yellow.

As he aims his guns at us, the Fun Gang does the impossible: gaslighting. They gaslight him to the point where he gets depressed and leaves; what a tactic, Susie.

Flower Castle – Yellow Doors

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
The Two Huge Colored Doors.

With the Yellow Key in your hand, return to the colored gates and unlock the Yellow door. Before it, Yellow will talk about how he doesn’t deserve to even go through his own door. The gaslighting did more work than intended, and when Susie opens the door for him, head inside with him. The Yellow Door is the “hard route” to reach the Dark Fountain. Still, Yellow remains depressed and says he’s going to bury himself.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Walking Through Yellow’s Door.

Now, go left while avoiding the enemies, then up, and then right to find Yellow’s hat opposite the next yellow door. Kris wears it, and Susie and Ralsei start digging the ground to unbury him. Surprisingly, he comes from behind and starts to dig with them. When they talk it out, he leaves for the next room, which has “harder punishments than burying.”

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Susie, Yellow, And Ralsei Digging The Ground.

There, you will also find Seth and Aqua. Activate the Petal Feather, and move forward. Climb the platforms while avoiding Yellow’s hat and Aqua’s swords, and at the top, you will find Yellow, trying to blow himself up with the Hyper Punishment Gun.

It’s time to destroy the Hyper Punishment Gun. Use the Yellow’s flower to jump and hit the gun, and command Susie to use Rude Buster on it to drop it. Keep hitting it while avoiding Aqua’s swords, and eventually, the gun will be destroyed. They manage to un-gaslight Yellow, and he stops trying to hurt himself. Still, since he believes that he should be punished, he slides down the jail slide to lock himself up.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Attacking The Hyper Punishment Gun While Avoiding Aqua’s Swords.

Deactivate the Petal Feather, and head to the next room to meet Blue near a stage. He’s one of the nicer flowers and is going against Flowery’s orders, as he believes that flowers are not a tool of war; they’re only for love. He heals us, and when it comes to handing us the blue key, he calls Yellow, but he’s in jail. Blue leaves to find him.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Blue.

Go right from the stage, save the game, and return to the jail slide to find Blue. He goes ahead to find Yellow and forms blue clouds in the process. Jump on them and backtrack the path until you reach the point where Susie and Ralsei tried to unbury Yellow. However, that same spot is splattered with red color; it isn’t blood. Aqua tells Blue that Yellow is in jail, and Blue will leave. Follow him to the colored doors, and he will unlock the blue door.

Flower Castle – Blue Doors

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
The Blue Door Leading To The Jail.

Head inside the blue door, and then reach a cliff. Instead of descending the staircase, go through the next blue door to reach the jail. Blue takes Yellow out of the jail, and asks who arrested him.

As he explains that he’s a criminal, the Fun Gang tries to sneak past them while avoiding the spotlight. But when Blue asks him who made him feel this way, a spotlight focuses on us, and the boss fight against Blue and Yellow begins.

Blue and Yellow Boss Fight

Blue And Yellow Catching The Fun Gang.

Blue and Yellow’s boss fight depends on the evidence you found during the yellow doors. But before the trial can begin, you need at least 40% TP.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Fighting Against Blue And Yellow.
Tip: To get TP, either avoid the enemy's bullets through their corner; close calls or defend during your turn.

In their first attack, Blue will create a path to your heart, and Yellow’s bullet will follow it. Try to avoid Blue’s path and Yellow’s bullet simultaneously. With enough TP, being the trial by acting as Justice on Yellow. To make this fight easier, you can find all the culprits and their evidence below:

Presenting Evidence To Find The Culprits.
  • Case 1: A Floradinn was crushed Flat. (Culprit: Seth | Evidence: PerpBook)
  • Case 2: Yellow’s favorite shirt vandalized and turned jet black! (Culprit: Green | Evidence: YellowShred)
  • Case 3: Green’s Handkerchiefs stolen! (Culprit: Aqua | Evidence: RedSplatter)
  • Case 4: Yellow’s super secret special petals have gone missing! (Culprit: Blue | Evidence: Blue String)

Hearing that Blue stole his special petals, he protects him until Blue admits that he did do it. Baffled, Yellow cries and aims his gun at himself, but when he shoots, blue flowers come out. Suddenly, Blue takes out a bouquet made up of his and Yellow’s special petals, and with this, he becomes happy. He leaves, and as we try to sneak away, Blue notices and tells us not to gaslight him again.

Post Blue and Yellow Boss Fight

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Yellow’s Gun Shooting Blue Flowers.

Go to the next room, and Blue will follow you, offering Susie to show her the flowers that will be best for her date. She leaves, leaving you alone with Ralsei.

“Hang out with Ralsei normally”

Flowery, Upside Down.

Suddenly, Flowery will appear. Ralsei says that the Fun Gang will seal his dark fountain, but Yellow turns his words on him, saying that whoever made this Dark Fountain should be a bad person too. Ralsei, startled, says that he doesn’t have to talk to him about it, indicating that he knows who made it; Kris did.

After he leaves, move forward and try the hot spring with Ralsei, and relax. He asks us if we have something to talk about.

“Dark fountain.”

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
At The Hot Spring With Ralsei.

He talks about how well Kris plays the piano, and in the middle, he says that no more Dark Fountain should be made, or the Roaring will get near.

“My happy ending is with you, too.”

Before Ralsei can say anything, Susie dives into the hot spring. Moments later, they leave and then go right to return to the main area with a bush of two Asgores holding Flowery. Use the scissors to cut the left bush, and drop down.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Returning To The Castle’s Entrance.

The door that they protect contains a comically large watering pot, but when you try to take it out, Flowery’s bush will stop you. So, from here, go into the cafe.

Flower Castle – Right Path

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Visiting The Right Path.

Save the game in the cafe, and buy the healing items of your choice. Continue moving right to enter a massive area, and follow the path. Go above to find a chest, and then return to the lower levels to reach the next room with Seth and Aqua.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Meeting Aqua And Seth.

Avoid Aqua’s swords by going through the doors above, and run past the hallway to find the Petal Feather activator. Once activated, go left, avoid the swords by jumping over them, and climb the platforms. At the top, go right and deactivate the Petal Feather, then enter the next room.

There, Asgore reads the old documents, which will be used to prove the Dark World’s existence. However, he can’t make up the mixed words. When Flowery tells him to take a break with him, he pushes him away, saying he’s busy. So, Flowery pushes his notes away with a gust of wind and distracts him by using his friends (Aqua, Seth, Green, and Yellow). Asgore leaves with them and tells Yellow to find the notes.

Asgore Collecting His Notes.

Some of them fall near the Fun Gang. Inspect them, and Ralsei tells that it talks about all the Dark Worlds they have been through. Asgore knows everything, including the Black Shards, the pieces of Roaring Knight’s sword. After this, move right, and you will find a locked orange door.

“Ralsei’s advice please.”

Here, we have to customize the platforms. Check the image below for their perfect placement, then climb them to get the orange key; Petal Feather is mandatory.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
The Correct Platform Placement.

Go through the orange door, activate the Petal Feather again, and go left to meet Orange. He calls himself the “strongest” human, but when Ralsei mocks him, the fight begins. It’s nothing but a small bullet pattern. Hit all the boxing gloves, and then watch them ricochet all over the place.

Orange’s Boxing Gloves.

An orange flower will spawn and throw boxing gloves at you. Hit the glove in the direction of the door to your left to break it down, then go through it. Climb the platforms while avoiding the gloves, and then go left at the top to reach the second diner.

There, you will meet Seth, who asks about Orange, but he loves to hide. They warn about the next flower with significant power: Green. Green walks in, and instead of fighting us, they make us a cheese at the diner. When the Fun Gang eats, they thank them for the cheese. To show further hospitality, Green opens a shortcut to the old diner, and Seth remains baffled.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Green Showing Their Power: Cooking Pan.

You can go back to the previous diner and save the game. Return to the second diner and go through the door above to meet Aqua, who blocks your path and will ask you to find three foxes first.

Don’t go right. Enter the door ahead, and follow the fox in the room with numerous armors until it tires. Stay away from the angry armors to avoid initiating a battle, and then at the top right, there’s another room. Go inside, and there you will find multiple foxes jumping around behind the curtain. Stand on the platform to raise it, revealing that most of them are just rocks, and only one of them is a real fox.

To catch the real fox, go behind the curtain and pick up any fox. When you exit the curtain, the fox will turn into either Aqua or Seth. Put them on the platform to permanently raise the curtain, then carry the real fox outside the red lines to capture it.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Catching Seth Within The Foxes.

Leave the room and go to the right path (opposite to aqua) while avoiding the fox bullets. At the end, there’s a chest. Finding the fox is a bit tricky. See the fox bullets that move irregularly in a wave? The fourth bullet (from the left) is a hidden fox. Grab it, and take it to Aqua.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
The Location Of The Third Fox.

Talk to her, and suddenly, she transforms into a Netskie; it was a fake all along. Use the Faker act on it and touch the fake bullet to build up Mercy. As soon as the attack commences, the real Aqua arrives and throws the real swords at you. Keep an eye on the fake ones by Netskie, and touch them to build up Mercy. Still, the battle is cut short as Seth arrives, and both Aquas take them away.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Seth In The Middle Of Two Aquas.

Ascend the staircase and go left to activate the Petal Feather. Use Ralsei’s action on the fan made of swords, and then jump on the hidden platform (look at its shadow), and jump right to meet Orange again. Ignore him and use Ralsei’s action on another fan at the dead end. Repeat these tactics to bring down further platforms and avoid the swords while climbing them.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
A Fan Made Of Swords.

Go right from the top to meet Seth and Aqua, and they’ll initiate the glasses fight again. But this time, Orange will help them. Instead of hitting the glasses with Susie’s rude buster, attack Orange’s boxing gloves in its direction to push them onto Seth’s glasses. Only four hits would suffice.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Aqua, Seth, And Orange Teaming Up.

With this, Orange reveals himself from the shadows: It’s a small rat with bloxing gloves. Ralsei laughs at its look, and Orange gets furious. It tries to attack the Fun Gang, but all of its attacks do 0 damage. Everyone tells Orange to practice more, and hearing this, it leaves. Now, go through the door to your right, save the game, and across the next door, you will meet Green and Orange together.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Orange Attacking The Fun Gang.

Orange tells Green that the Fun Gang was bullying it, and this turns into an argument. Hearing both sides, Green is disappointed, and when you try to walk across them, Orange will remind them that Flowery ordered everyone to stop the gang. So, it asks Green for some food, and when it eats, its boxing gloves become huge. And the battle against Orange and Green starts.

Orange And Green Boss Fight

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
A Buffed Out Orange.

Orange And Green can be spared, but the actions required to raise their Mercy meter need 84% TP each. Since we have to focus on building our TP, defend all the party members on the first turn.

Remember the green heart in Undertale that throws an egg to heal you? Do the same here. When Green tries to drop eggs for Orange, touch them to achieve extraneous TP.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Presenting Cheese To Orange.

As soon as you have 84% of it, act to get along with Orange, and it will increase 25% Mercy meter for Orange and 20% for Green.

Missing the eggs will allow Orange to eat them, and with every piece, it gets stronger. In the third turn, Green doesn’t cook, and the mouse will show off its boxing power. Avoid the hands, and then get ready to act FeastX towards Green.

The FeastX Act.
Note: Orange needs to eat at least five items in order to attack.

As soon as the Mercy meter reaches max, Orange and Green will unleash their final attack. Avoid Orange’s punch and Green’s hands. If you see a red line in the heart box, then move away, as it indicates the boxing glove’s path. However, in whatever direction it moves, the hands will follow it. So, avoid them until the attack ends, and with this, the fight will end.

Post Orange and Green Boss Fight

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
The Fun Gang Talking To Green.

Go left from the platform to find a save point, and when you move forward, Green will follow. They give Susie a recipe for the best holiday cookies ever, and she goes away with them.

“Close eyes and think about Susie.”

Ralsei hears this idea and asks Kris not to invade her privacy. Then, he goes left to find some flowers.

“Close eyes and think about Ralsei.”

We see Ralsei praying for the prophecy to change and for his friends’ safety. Flowery arrives from the waters and asks Ralsei what’s wrong. He explains it to him, and Flowery says that he has a good heart. After going back and forth, he gives him a voucher for free drinks, and after Ralsei takes them, he leaves.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Ralsei, Praying.

Returning to the room, he sees Susie finding Mites and Fleas in Kris’ head. He catches their attention and gives them the vouchers.

“Green and Yellow One.”

After the gang reunites, go right and cut down the second Asgore and Flowery’s bush with the scissor. The path is now clear, and it’s time to pick up the comically large watering pot. Use it to water the small sprout below, and in a moment, it will turn into a huge vine.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Part 3
Using The Comically Large Flowering Pot On The Sprout.

As you climb the vine, you will see all the flowers talking to Asgore, but he acts distant with all of them. Near the end, you will see all the flowers talking to Flowery, who then asks Asgore to put faith in all of them. Unfortunately, Asgore is persistent and asks him to let him visit the Dark Fountain to fight against the Roaring Knight, ending him once and for all.

Flowery agrees and sends Asgore flying away. We reach the top and talk to all the flowers in a friendly manner, until Flower comes and tells everyone that the Fun Gang is going to seal the Dark Fountain and Asgore’s dream with it. With that, all of the flowers warn us that if we decide to reach the Castle’s top, they will fight us with all their determination.

All The Flowers Threatening Us.

They all leave, and Ralsei says they can’t stop now. Now, walk through the door ahead and save the game.

Top of Castle – Beginning

The Beginning Of The Castle Top.

We’re almost at the top, and the Dark Fountain is much closer than before. Sprint right to ignore the Shinobeetles, and a few steps ahead, Seth will confront you.

They spawn a Shinobeetle to fight for them. Make sure to spare everyone you fight from this point. Use the Convince act on Shinobeetle to raise the Mercy meter by 35%. There’s a gimmick that will stop you from sparing it. To counter it, when the enemy’s Mercy meter rises to 85%, use the Convince act with Kris, and spare the Shinobeetle with Susie; the battle will end.

Seth Using Shinobeetle In The Fight.

After Seth retreats, go right and activate the Petal Feather. Move forward to meet Blue and Yellow. While Blue creates platforms for you to jump across the gap, Yellow will shoot the ones with flowers growing on them. Hastily jump across the platforms, and in the final section, hit the flowers to jump above and avoid Yellow’s laser beams.

Escaping Yellow And Blue.

Deactivate the Petal Feather with the statue, and you will now enter the castle. There, Flowery will arrive and say that he feels happy to see all the flowers fighting alongside each other to stop the Fun Gang. Ralsei says that they have to seal the Dark Fountain because it’s inviting the roaring. This prompts him to call out the double standard: If they’re so keen to save the world, why not start with sealing the Castle Town Dark Fountain first?

Flowery Pointing Out The Double Standard.

Susie becomes furious and says that it’s their home, so they can’t do it. Flowery acknowledges it and leaves. Ascend the staircase and follow the path to find the Petal Feather statue. Activate it and go through the speed torii gate. As you rush through the cliffs, avoid Aqua’s knives; hold the jump button to jump higher.

Rushing Through The Speed Torii Gate While Avoiding Aqua’s Swords.

However, Seth will ambush you with three Shi at the end. To raise their Mercy meter, use the Intimidate act and press Z when the Kris’ pose reaches the center to pose for mercy. After sparing two Shi, Aqua will arrive to assist it. Avoid their attacks, pose for mercy, and then spare the final Shi to end this battle.

Deactivate the Petal Feather, then head inside the next area. Flowery will arrive again, and Ralsei will immediately try to chase him down and attack him. However, his attack does not affect him, and they get into a heated argument about their purposes of existence. When Ralsei attacks him again, Flowery retreats.

Flowery Dodging Ralsei’s Attack

Move forward to meet Green, who doesn’t attack you. Instead of fighting, they’ll just increase their cafe’s prices by $1. Yes, that’s the attack. Save the game, and go right to activate the Petal Feather. This room is enormous. Jump and hit the flower to reach the next area, then use Susie’s Rude Buster on the closed flower to open it. Immediately use Ralsei’s act to attach him to the vine above, and then climb on him with the flower.

Don’t drop down. First, open the next closed flower with Rude Buster, and mid-air use Ralsei’s act on the next vine. This whole section requires efficient execution. If you fall, you will have to do it from the beginning.

Ralsei On The Vine.
Tip: If you repeatedly fall during this platforming section, then Susie and Ralsei will automatically help you.

Once you reach the top, a spinning shuriken will try to attack Susie, but Ralsei destroys it with fire magic in the nick of time. If you go left, complete the first flower-platforming section, and drop into the gap between the next section, it will take you to the (locked) secret boss’s room; we’ll get to it later.

The Door To The Secret Boss Of Chapter 5.

For now, go right and get ready to fight against all the flowers. Orange will stay there. First, Seth and Aqua will arrive and use combos to attack you. Seth’s book will drop spirits, which later turn into Aqua’s swords. Combine Susie’s Rude Buster and your sword attacks to destroy it.

After them, Blue and Yellow arrive. They spawn a UFO that circles the sky and swings later around the entire arena. Stand in the gap between the lasers, move left and right, and immediately attack it with Susie’s Rude Buster. When the UFO comes down, attack it with your sword to destroy it.

Blue And Yellow’s UFO Attack.

This leaves Orange alone, and it tries its utmost to defeat you with massive boxing gloves. Two of them will aim at you, and as you see them falling down, move away and jump to avoid their shockwaves. Overload them with Susie’s Rude Buster, and attack them with everything you have. To end this fight, Orange will send two boxing gloves into the arena, and avoid the highlighted area to make them attack each other.

Orange’s Huge Boxing Gloves.

Once they collapse, Orange runs away, and Green will drop an item that heals the entire party. This fight ends. Now, go right, deactivate the Petal feather, and head inside the castle. Use the save point to save the game, and we enter the Castle Top.

Flower Castle – Castle Top

Flowery Warning The Fun Gang.

Here, as you walk forward, Flowery arrives and tells the Fun Gang that the Dark Fountain is just a few steps away; he asks them to follow him. Before the final staircase, he will arrive again and ask them if they have the power to defy the fate, which states that the Fun Gang will fight Flowery. And, after he goes away, ascend the staircase to confront him one last time; the Dark Fountain is covered entirely in vines.

Flowery reveals that the seven flowers of this world, him, Green, Orange, Seth, Aqua, Blue, and Yellow, were all used in a bouquet which Asgore used to propose to Toriel. Still, even after their marriage fell apart, he kept the same flowers alive in his shop. This is the reason they all love him, and with this, Flowery rises, and all of his recruits lend him their power.

Standing Before The Dark Fountain.

He’s now at his peak, and to fight him, the Fun Gang uses flying flowers. We now stand face-to-face with the man who loves Agore. And the final battle begins.

Flowery – Boss Fight

Fighting Flowery.

Similar to the secret bosses from previous chapters, after the first conversation, Kris’ heart changes from red to blue, allowing you to soar through the blue bamboo shoots in the heart box.

Soaring Through The Bamboo Shoots.
NOTE: You can only break the blue lines/areas, so don't get hit by the white areas.

Flowery can be spared, but for the required acts, you need 50% and 64% TP. Now, it’s time to take on the tyrant who’s brainwashing Asgore with his love.

PoseyZ Act.

We need to focus on building TP to spare him, so only defend yourself during all his attacks, and Act whenever the right amount is ready. Flowery’s first attack is a barrage of blue and white vines. Hold Z to charge up your heart, and then release while aiming at the blue areas.

Here, your TP will already reach the max level. Use the PoseyZ act on him, and press Z when the t-posing Kris silhouette reaches the center.

Flowery Attacking The Heart.

His next attack doesn’t consist of any vines, but Flowery himself will enter and try to attack you. As soon as he turns blue, hold Z and counterattack him to avoid getting hit. Act on him again, and then the third attack is a stronger variant of the first one.

Soar through the heart box while destroying the blue vines. However, if you don’t charge up your heart early, numerous vines will appear from behind and attack you. Remain consistent, attack the blue vines, and avoid the multiple white cacti that try to stop you in the middle.

Breaking The Bamboo Shoots And Avoiding The Cacti.

Act again, and Flowery will initiate his fourth attack. Similar to the second one, he will arrive at the heart box and attack you. But when you successfully counterattack him, he throws white flowers at your heart. Avoid them while regularly counterattacking Flowery.

In the fifth turn, the PoseyZ act changes with BlowAwayZ. Use it, then mash Z to bring Flowery toward the Fun Gang in a short amount of time. The closer he is, the more the Mercy meter rises.

The sixth turn uses the same attack as the third, and after his turn, you must use the BlowAway act again. In a surprising turn of events, Flowery blows wind at you, which causes YOUR Mercy meter to grow; if it reaches 100%, you will lose. Seth and Aqua also arrive to assist him in the battle.

Flowery Calling Orange And Green For His Assistance.

Flowery’s next attack will combine Seth’s word book, and you’ll have to rush past the different boxes without touching them. If you manage to touch the green words in the process, then they’ll give you an extra boost. After this, immediately use any act to increase everyone’s Mercy meter (Flowery’s meter only increases by 5%, but for his assistants, it’s 50%).

The combination of Flowery and Aqua is unique. Hold Z and attack the leaf to hop over the waves of Aqua’s swords like a frog. With every successful jump, the speed increases, so make sure to focus on wherever you’re landing. With one more act, Seth and Aqua leave.

Seth And Aqua Helping Flowery.

Then, Green and Orange arrive to help him. To spare them, the process is the same as Seth and Aqua; it works for all of his crew. Remember the second attack, where Flowery attacks the heart himself? Now, Orange will assist him during this.

If you hear “Go, Orange”, then get ready to counterattack Orange’s attack. Counterattack them both, and you will eventually survive this attack. Use the available act, and get ready for Green’s attack. Flowery will say “Go”, faking the attack, and immediately, Green will shower fire from the sky. Avoid their attack, then use Act again to make Orange and Green retreat.

After them, Blue and Yellow arrive. Unlike others, they all share a singular attack, where you have to break the blue vines, and avoid Blue and Yellow’s combo; Yellow breaks Blue’s flower, and it releases pellets all over the heart box.

Flowery Saying How Thieves Are Guilty.

In the act menu, select Justice to start a trial, and Ralsei decides to finish this. He claims that Flowery isn’t as innocent as he appears, saying that he illegally jailed Susie and Kris. Use Moss as evidence, and Ralsei will say that it was their prison food. While his Mercy meter rises by 10%, he says that thieves are not innocent. To back his claim, he reveals that Kris stole the Petal Feather from the shrine.

Flowery Using The Petal Feather As Evidence.

Ralsei says it was a gift from Aqua, but Flowery counters it by saying that it was never for her to give. With no evidence to prove their innocence, Ralsei takes the claim, and Flowery pushes him away. It’s only Kris and Susie now.

Flowery Taking Ralsei Away.

For his ultimate move, he spawns multiple, small blue areas on the white vines, and you have to go through them hastily. Then, when he tries to attack, he will spawn four clones, and they will try to attack Kris, one by one. All you have to do is counterattack them.

SusiesIdea.

Once it ends, use the Act menu and select Susie’s idea. She mentions how the flower they’re standing on stopped ascending. She thinks, then tells Flowery that Asgore is falling from above. When he looks behind, Susie throws Kris on the vine. Start climbing immediately as Flowery will grow spikey plants from below. By grabbing the blue pipes on the vine, you will receive a significant speed boost. Don’t stop no matter what. Keep climbing until you reach the top.

Climbing The Massive Vine.

After reaching the cliff, Flowery will catch and absorb all the other flowers. This transforms him into Omega Flowery. With the power of the Petal Feather, start running right and every time Omega Flowery gets close, attack to push him away.

Clashing Against Omega Flowery.

Repeat this until Kris and Omega Flowery clash, and when you see the attack meter, press Z at the right time; the line reaches its specified point.

Post Flowery Boss Fight

Agore Watching Kris.

Both Kris and Flowery collapse after this clash. When he tries to get up, Asgore arrives and rushes towards Kris to check up on them, ignoring Flowery. He tries to wake them up, but to no avail. Blue arrives and showers them with healing rain, patching both Kris and Flowery up. When Kris gains consciousness, the focus shifts to Kris and Asgore only.

Asgore explains his side of the story. Ever since “that” day, he wanted to prove to everyone that it wasn’t his fault. He knew the existence of the Dark World and understood that its energy was (still is) tampering with the people in town. Seeing it for himself, he thought that he could let everyone know about his innocence. However, after staying in this world, he calls it useless.

Asgore Telling His Story.

None of his family members ever accused Asgore of “that,” and yet, he let his self-hatred consume him. Eventually, it pushed his family away from him. He apologizes for not doing it earlier, and says that he’s really proud of Kris for what they have done. He praises their friends and then asks them to seal the Dark Fountain.

Before he leaves, Flowery tries to stop him. However, Asgore tells him that he was only playing along, and his real goal was to seek the truth. Since Flowery is loyal to Asgore, he says that whatever he wants will be done, even if he feels extremely disappointed and defeated.

Asgore Revealing It Was All An Act.

Now, walk right to bid farewell to all the characters you met during this journey. They return to their original flower form, and thank you for watching their dream. With this, talk to Flowery, and he will move away from the path to the Dark Fountain.

Go near and interact with it to put an end to this Dark World. As usual, your heart will rise and use all its power to seal the Dark Fountain. However, things look different. When it’s sealed, everyone is still in the Dark world, and Flowery says someone might have created another fountain.

Everyone Stuck In The Dark World.

Suddenly, the Roaring Knight arrives in his bird form and kidnaps Asgore. Since the Fun Gang has no means to follow the knight, Flowery gets up and runs as fast as he can to stop them. He almost catches up to the night, but they increase their speed. Fortunately, they don’t see the wall ahead and crash into it, giving Flowery enough time to catch up and fight them.

Flowery Rushing To Save Asgore.

Initially, the fight is in Flowery’s favor until he clashes with the Roaring Knight, and in a split second, they cut him in half. After he falls, Ralsei rushes to him and tries to use his healing magic to save him. Before passing away, Flowery says that flowers are different from Lightners and Darkners, and they can feel things that others can’t. He warns Susie and Kris that something extremely horrible is brewing below their town, and only they can save the world.

Kris Sealing The Second Dark Fountain.

We return to the real world. It’s dead of the night. Seeing the broken yellow flower container, Susie runs to the backroom to find something to help it. Meanwhile, interact with the yellow flower, and Kris will find two things: A packet of yellow flower seeds with a warning labeled on them, and… a piece of paper… with a code to the ominous shelter, located in the southern part of the town.

Susie Taking The Code From Kris.

Kris takes the seeds, and as they starts tearing the paper, Susie arrives with a tape. She grabs the piece of paper from Kris’ hands, realizing its importance. With that, they fix the yellow flower and put it inside the container. Follow Susie outside the shop. She wonders how many people the Roaring Knight will kidnap and place in the shelter. Asgore is gone, too.

Susie will ask Kris to walk her home as she wants to talk about something.

“I’ll walk with you”

Go left, and move south, and she will say how good a team they are; she has been thinking about “us.” Take another south, then move right to reach the school. Head inside and go to the Castle Town’s entrance. Before Susie enters, she says that this adventure isn’t about them anymore. Everyone in the town is in danger, and they have to tell someone trustworthy.

She chooses Noelle, and in Castle Town, she prepares her room and everything. Kris, outside the store room, leaves the school, and Deltarune Chapter 5 ends.
