Demonschool Complete Walkthrough – Week 11

Welcome to our Complete Walkthrough for Demonschool.

Week 1 or 11, depending on how you look at it marks the starting of the game. You’ll meet your first party members, learn the basics of the game’s movement-based combat, and take on a couple of early battles that teach you how to push, pull, and style your way through enemies. It’s a light, story-heavy week with a few key tutorials, but don’t worry—we’ll walk you through every step so you can ease into the chaos with confidence.

Week 1 – Monday Morning

You kick things off as Faye, waking up on a small boat with other students. Talk to them for a bit, get your bearings, then head towards the rear and chat with Namako.

That’s all you need to spark the first cutscene. After a gruesome sequence where multiple students are killed, we jump ahead to Friday.

Week 1 – Friday Morning

Friday opens with Faye and Namako thrown straight into a combat tutorial with some gangsters on the docks.

Tip

The combat is turn based and there is a planning phase and an action phase, and there are a few things the game forgets to explain clearly:

  • When you move, your character always travels the full distance of their movement line.
  • Nothing actually happens until you pick a target and commit an action.
  • You can sidestep by selecting a character and tapping a tile to their left or right—they shuffle over without advancing.
  • If you push enemies into each other or into your teammates, you can chain some nice little combos.

Turn 1

Just march both Faye and Namako straight ahead—three tiles each—to close the gap. Faye will knock back the enemy and Namako will pull them one tile behind her and reduce their defence.

When Faye gets the chance, angle her slightly southeast, then nudge her forward one tile again towards the gangster Namako pulled.

Next, use Faye to push the two gangsters that are lined up.

With all the AP spent up. Start the action phase.

Turn 2

You will now learn about side-stepping. Any move after a side step doesn’t expend AP. Start with Namako: slide her one tile to the right, then have her stun the gangster hanging out in the northwest direction.

This will create a line of gangsters for Faye to knock down. Over with Faye, swipe at the enemies to her northeast.

You’ll get introduced to the rewind system here—use it! Back up the previous steps, shift Namako one space to the right instead, then reposition Faye with a right sidestep.

Move her forward so she lines up and slams into two gangsters at once. Follow this up by activating her Special, then drift her two tiles south toward the lone enemy. One more sidestep to the right and push forward, shoving the gangster right into Namako.

Nice and clean. Hit the action phase and watch it all play out.

If you pull this off properly, you should see the Secret Skills achievement pop up.

Turn 3

Your only goal this round is to reach the glowing sigils after you have killed 8 demons—how you fight along the way is up to you. But you can use Namako to pull one gangster in line with the other by using her special, reducing the defence of both. Use Faye to knock them down as they are lined up.

Step into the sigils and end the planning phase and exit the fight.

Week 1 – Friday Evening

Back in the Town Square, Namako is waiting by the fountain. Head over and talk to her. You learn about Faye’s demon hunting past and how Namako fits in.

She’ll give you the option to either “Beg” or “Assert,” but don’t stress—the choice doesn’t change anything here.

Week 1 – Friday Night

Get to the Gym

Time to stretch your legs. Exit into the Island Map, pick the School Gym Assembly, and once you load in, jog toward the objective marker.

After the cutscene, your second battle kicks off.

Battle: Friday Night Throwdown

Goal: Defeat 6 enemies
Turn Target: 3

This fight teaches you how fun Demonschool’s push-based combat can get.

Turn 1

Start with Faye—nudge her left with a sidestep, then glide her northeast. She’ll plow through a diagonal line of three enemies.

Hit them again to finish all three off. Meanwhile, send Namako forward three spaces.

Turn 2

Activate Faye’s Special, dash two tiles forward, and she’ll take out the gangster cleanly.

For Namako, give her another left sidestep and walk her straight through the two Possessed Students. This lets Faye swoop in—move her forward one tile and she’ll knock both students out in a tidy combo. Once Namako steps onto the sigils, the fight wraps up.

This concludes our walkthrough for week 11 of Demonschool.
