Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dimhaven: The Lost Source.
In Part 3 of Dimhaven: The Lost Source, Emily finally gains access to the island by completing the visa application process.
After earning the “Squeaky Clean” achievement by cleaning her camera lens, she solves the filing cabinet puzzle using city name codes to retrieve a typewriter ribbon and visa documents. By comparing visa records with a sample ticket, Emily deciphers the perforated code on her own visa ticket, creates a valid visa using the blue typewriter, and finally, successfully passes the final immigration checkpoint.
With her paperwork complete, she leaves the arrival area behind and begins her journey along the Hiking Trail to Kishvar.

From the Bay Tower head back to the final visa checkpoint. Use the clean sponge to clear the camera screen.
This will take a while and cleaning the full screen gets you the achievement “Squeaky Clean”. Next, head back to the Visa Office.
You need to open the filing cabinet with the code sequence we found earlier under the jacket. The code is “Miks-reben Var-natko”. You need to match these to the cities on the noticeboard and note their numerical value.
The cities have double digit codes, but you only need to see which half of the city name is for the code. So Miks is for Miksholc so 1, Reben is for Decreben so 4, Var is for Varjas so 0 and Natko is for Unnatko so 3.
The code is 1403.
Unlock the filing cabinet with this code. Take a look inside the drawer and the files. Pick up the Typewriter Ribbon as well.
In the top drawer, you will find a Visa Application Document. Scroll through to Judit Polar.
The Visa Application number is 00065 and the Visa ID is 43126740-02. The 02 bit is the city code or the city of departure, but it’s not important right now, only the first eight digits of the Visa ID are.
Behind you on the desk is a small blue typewriter. Insert the ribbon, then look at your Visa Application Ticket. We need to figure out what the perforation on the right translates to in terms of numbers.
Pick up ticket no 65 from atop the boxes behind you. It shows what 4 looks like on the perforated side.
By matching the Visa ID to the perforations on the ticket, we can figure out what the perforations on our ticket is in terms of numbers. So the first box is 4, second box is 3, third box is 1, fourth box is 2 and so on.
Using this codex of sorts you can now see your own ticket’s number is 35856392.
Back to Judit’s visa application, you can see her city of departure was Varjas as denoted by the 02 on her visa ID after the dash. Check Emily’s passport and you will see she is from Udongrad which is 05.
That gives us 35856392-05. Punch this in the blue typewriter on the desk.
Once its printed out, take the visa. Go back to the checkpoint and insert your passport first in the machine, get a picture taken, then insert the visa application and finally the visa.
Go through and you will be on the Hiking Trail to Kishvar.
