Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dimhaven: The Lost Source.
In Part 5 of our Dimhaven: The Lost Source walkthrough, Emily ventures beyond the cable car station, speaks with a mysterious man in a white suit, and gathers the remaining power components needed to restore the area’s machinery.
After configuring the distribution panels, she unlocks the workshop cabinet to obtain the missing hotel fuses and station wrenches, repairs Old Lars’ fuse box, and is rewarded with the key to his tandem bicycle. Using the bike chain to reactivate the water wheel and reconnect the station’s power network, Emily finally brings the cable car system back online.
With everything operational, she boards the cable car and leaves Kishvar behind, continuing deeper into the island’s mysteries.

This walkthrough follows from Part 4.
Use the Strange Key you just picked up to open the door.
Go down the stairs and at the bottom, talk to the man in the white suit. Once the conversation is over, go back into the Cable Car Station again. Call the elevator down.
You now need to go back through to the town, to the upper floor of the cable car station and make your way to the elevator. Climb down the ladder on the side of the elevator shaft, all the way to the top of the elevator to pick up the third component.
Now go to the back of the area to the ladder that we took the first time to get here. It will lead you down to the path with the valve we couldn’t turn and you will see the side of the elevator.
Here you can pick up another component.
Climb back up and call the elevator up.
Take it down to F0 and go down to the basement. Since you now have all the components, set them up as shown in the screenshot below:
This will open the Workshop Cabinet. Make your way to the workshop now and open the cabinet there.
Open the drawer below the screen that pops out to find Station Wrenches as well as the missing fuses for the fusebox to the hotel.
Make your way back with the makeshift bridges to the fusebox.
Slot in the wire to the leftmost socket and insert the fuses. You can check the fuse clue we picked up earlier for a hint, but basically the directions of the fuses should be as shown below:
Use the makeshift bridges to go around the shortcut through the station and back to Lars. Speak to him.
He will give you the keys to his tandem bicycle. Use the key to unlock the bike lock and then pick up the bike chain.
Make your way back to the station. Move the elevator up from the panel and go through to the right, where the valve and the gear system are. Insert the bike chain in the gear system.
Turn the valve to get the water wheel moving. This should give power to the A+B node on the Distribution panel.
Note the number sequence to start the Cable Car engine and systems. Go down to the basement and open the distribution box marked with a B.
Open it up and use the Station Wrenches to complete the connection as shown in the screenshot below:
This will power the Cable Car engine and systems. Go upstairs and get in the cable car and pull the lever to get it moving.
You are now leaving the town behind.
