Directive 8020 Walkthrough – Episode 7: Revelation
As Episode 7, Revelation, begins in Directive 8020, a cutscene will start featuring the events from two days before departure. After that, you will have to choose an option as Young. I went with the Empathize option, but you can choose whichever option you prefer.
Follow the Drone

Once the perspective shifts back to the present, you will have to follow the drone as Cernan. Move ahead and keep progressing through the area. Eventually, a cutscene will begin, and Anders will become separated from the group.
Find Anders

You now have to locate Anders, so simply move ahead, crouch through the narrow path, and then head left. Interact with the rocks ahead, and you will receive a new objective. You now need to use your scanner to track the trail.
Follow the Scanner Trail

Stop interacting with the rocks and activate the scanner. A trail will then appear, so simply follow it. As you continue moving ahead, the path will eventually become blocked by rocks, meaning you now have to find another route around the obstacle.
Find Another Way Around
Go back, drop down, then head right and follow Young. A short cutscene will begin shortly after. Once it ends, continue moving forward, and the “Find Another Way Around” objective will be completed.
Then go ahead using the scanner to find the right path, and eventually, the path will divide into two. Even the scanner will show two paths, so choose the right one. Follow the path ahead, and you will find Anders. If you go to the other side, you will find the fake Anders.
As you move through another narrow path and continue a little farther, you will receive messages from a new contact claiming to be Anders. After messaging the real profile, you will realize that the new contact is fake. Continue moving ahead, and you will eventually find Anders there.
Reach the Probe
After finding Anders, you will have to reach the probe. Simply follow them, and once you get close enough, a cutscene will begin. With that, you will successfully reach the probe.
Wait for Young

Now that you have reached the probe, all you need to do is wait for Young. Once the situation has been assessed, you will need to help Young repair the probe.
Repair the Probe

Head close to the probe and interact with it. Remove the chip, and then you will need to locate a replacement chip. Move to the opposite side of the probe and interact with it there. Remove the replacement chip and then head back to the previous side to insert it.
Find the Probe’s Serial Number

You now have to enter the probe’s serial number in order to send a message. The first number is 2, and the final two numbers are 40, which can be identified directly on the probe itself. Check both sides of the probe to confirm these numbers. To locate the missing middle number, head a little south and then east from the side of the probe where you collected the replacement chip.
You will then discover that the probe’s serial number is 2540. Enter the serial number and confirm it. With that, the transmitter will come online. Young will then send the SOS signal, and afterward, you will be able to check previous messages that reveal something horrifying.
Move Through the Infested Deck

You will then return to the ship, where you must move through the infested deck. Simply make your way forward, lift the lockdown, and continue progressing. As you enter the pod room, you will encounter the monster inside and will need to avoid it.
Avoid the Life Form

Slowly move forward, and when you see the life form moving into the middle area, head to the right side and move past it to hide. Make sure you remain on the right side. If you lose track of the life form, use the scanner to locate it. Once the life form moves back toward the middle, continue ahead until you discover that the door is locked.
Use the scanner to track where the red wire is leading. Wait for the monster to return and then move away again. Once it leaves, head straight toward the bathroom. You can also use the utility strap to distract the life form, although you will need to move closer to the panel in order to do that.

Head inside the bathroom, lift the lockdown, and then move through the door by opening it with the wedge tool. Continue forward, and on the right side, you will notice a vent. Crawl through the vent and then open the door after exiting by using the wedge tool once again. From there, continue moving ahead until you reach the reactor elevator.
Open it by rapidly pressing the buttons that appear on the screen. After that, a cutscene will begin.
Regroup at Bridge Ops

Once the cutscene is over, you will play as Cernan again. Move through the narrow path and wait for the life form to move away, so stop halfway through and remain hidden. Then continue forward, and a new objective will appear.
Gain Access to Geoscience

To gain access to the Geoscience Lab, you will need a power cell. Head straight ahead, enter the room on your right, continue forward, and open the door on the left side. Then head upstairs, follow the path, and interact with the door on the opposite side by using the utility strap to open it.
After that, head back, enter through the door you just opened, and pick up the power cell. Then sprint to the Geoscience Lab and insert the power cell to open the door.
As soon as you enter the lab, a life form will appear inside, triggering another lockdown.
Sneak Past the Life Form

Be careful because there is broken glass scattered throughout this area, and stepping on it will cause the life form to rush toward your location. You need to reach the opposite side of the lab on the upper floor, but first, the lockdown must be lifted, which requires you to head downstairs. The life form will initially remain on the left side, so move right while carefully avoiding the broken glass, and then head down the stairs.
As you move downstairs, the life form will suddenly appear directly in front of you, but do not worry, because you will still remain in cover. While staying hidden, move right and continue using cover. The life form may move toward your location, and if that happens, simply circle around it carefully. Once it moves away, head right and restore power to the lower area.
Follow the Wire

After scanning the area, the red wire itself will not appear. Instead, you will see the current flowing through the system. Once you have powered the Power Junction, follow the current. As you continue moving ahead, the life form will appear again, so immediately head upstairs. Wait for it to move away and then continue toward the second circuit while following the current flow.
Now, power the upper section. You then need to locate the final circuit, which is situated on the upper floor. Head back upstairs, continue ahead, and enter the room. The final circuit will be directly ahead, so interact with it and power the right side. With that completed, the door will open, but as you move out, the life form will appear once again.
Let the life form walk past the doorway, and once it does, head left and follow the path ahead. You will then need to open another door using the wedge tool. Once the door opens, move through it, and the “Move Through the Infested Deck” objective will continue. Simply follow the path ahead, and eventually you will receive another objective.
Run!

As multiple life forms begin appearing, your only option is to run. While escaping, a cutscene will begin that reveals the truth behind everything happening in the story. After that, as Eisele, you will need to make another choice. I selected the Probe option.
With that decision, Episode 7, Revelation, in Directive 8020 comes to an end.
Directive 8020 Walkthrough – Episode 8: Come True

As Episode 8, Come True, begins in Directive 8020, a cutscene will begin featuring the events of launch day. Then, as Young, you will have to choose between two dialogue options. I went with the Lament option. After a conversation, you will then have to make a wish, which acts as a turning point decision.
So think carefully before choosing your option. I selected the choice stating that our humanity is more important than our survival. After that, you will return to the present day. Then you will have to choose another option, as Eisele. You can select whichever option you prefer, but I went with the Probe option.
After discovering a possible way to escape the area, Williams will say that he wants to stay behind and fulfill his duty. You can either order him to come with you or approve of his decision. I chose the Order option.
Purge the Elevator Shaft

Since the vehicle requires fuel, Stafford and Eisele now need to head downward. Your first objective will be to purge the elevator shaft. As you move ahead, you will receive another objective involving getting past the life form.
Sneak Past the Life Form

Move ahead, head down the stairs, and on your left side, you will find a circuit that needs to be activated to power the Crew Lounge. Activate the left circuit. Once you have done that, head left, go upstairs, and move through the Crew Lounge. As you do that, the life form will suddenly appear from the opposite entrance.
The creature will patrol mostly on the right side of the area, so make sure you continue moving from the left side. Then move toward the middle section, and when the life form turns toward the left side, interact with the nearby panel to distract it. After distracting the creature, move through the door on the right side and continue ahead. Eisele will be directly ahead, and approaching her will trigger a short cutscene.
You will now begin playing as Eisele. Move ahead, and you will notice a crew member who is most likely a life form in disguise. Approach it and quickly press the correct button prompt to escape. Stafford will manage to escape, but Eisele will remain trapped in the area. Because of that, you will once again need to sneak past the life form.
Sneak Past the Life Form

Move toward the left side and wait for the life form to move away. Once it heads left, follow behind it and then hide behind the object positioned in the middle area. Use the scanner to monitor the creature as it approaches from the left side, and when it does, quickly move toward the right side. Once the creature moves away again, continue ahead until you discover that the door requires a power cell to open.
Simply head back and move left. Continue forward, and at the far left side near the end of the path, you will find a power cell. Then carefully head back while remaining hidden and insert the power cell to unlock the door. Once the door opens, head upstairs. Turn right, and while moving forward, the life form will suddenly appear and grab you.
You will immediately need to press the button prompt that appears on the screen in order to escape. Then quickly run toward the opposite side and regroup with Stafford. You will now return to playing as Stafford. Move ahead, turn right, and open the Mess Hall door using the wedge tool.
Sneak Past the Life Form

The life form will also appear in this area, so you will once again need to sneak around it carefully. Keep in mind that broken glass is scattered throughout the room, so avoid stepping on it because doing so will alert the creature.
Since you cannot move right due to the broken glass, head left, continue forward, and then turn right from the middle section while remaining hidden. Continue ahead, and you will discover that another door requires a power cell.
From the locked door, head in the opposite direction and enter the area where light is visible. On the right side, you will notice an electricity icon. Scan the area, interact with the panel, and redirect the power through the left side in order to open the nearby door.

Then move left, use the wedge tool to open the door, and pick up the power cell from inside the room. As you exit the area, the life form will be directly ahead. Wait for it to move near the northern door and then hide in the middle section. Once it moves toward the left side, that is your opportunity to move forward, insert the power cell, and pass through the door.
Continue ahead, and you will eventually need to interact with the terminal in order to purge the elevator shaft.
Get to the Elevator

Now head back upstairs and open the elevator door using the wedge tool. Continue moving ahead until you enter the elevator, and then interact with the controls to trigger another cutscene.
Get to the Hangar

You now need to reach the hangar, but as you continue moving ahead, the path will become blocked. Head back out, pick up the power cell, return to the previous area, insert the power cell into the circuit, and then move through the vent.
Once you reach the other side, use your utility strap to interact with the console on the left side. Doing so will open a new path on the left. Move through it, scan the area, and then redirect power to the lower section in order to open the door.
After that, head in the opposite direction, continue ahead, and look toward the right side. Use your utility strap to lower the objects blocking the path. Then, scan the area and redirect power to the Server Control Panel on the left side by using the circuit.
Using the control panel, lower the object blocking the way and continue ahead. Then crouch through the narrow opening on the right side, use the control panel again to lower the objects, and redirect power to the left Server Control Panel using the circuit.
Head back, crouch through the opening, continue forward, and then head north to interact with another control panel using your utility strap. Continue ahead, and you will find several secrets located toward the left and north sides.
After examining them, open the nearby door using the wedge tool and regroup with Eisele. Simply head upstairs, and another cutscene will begin.
Run!
Your next objective will simply be to run. Continue sprinting ahead while making sure to press the correct button prompts that appear on the screen. Once you reach the end of the sequence, use the vent to escape.
Overload the Reactor

You will now play as Eisele once again. Since the life form has returned, you will need to run again while correctly pressing the button prompts in order to survive.
Eventually, the monster will grab Stafford, forcing you to make a quick decision. You can either help him or abandon him and run away. I chose to help him. After making that choice, you will need to repeatedly press the button prompt that appears on the screen.
You will then need to press several buttons in order to overload the reactor. At the end of the sequence, press the two buttons simultaneously.
After the following cutscene, you will need to save almost every crew member by pressing the correct button prompts during the sequence. Another cutscene will then begin, bringing Episode 8, Come True, in Directive 8020 to an end. With that, our walkthrough for Directive 8020 concludes.
