Disciples: Domination Walkthrough

Disciples: Domination is a tactical turn-based RPG where you play as Avyanna the Liberator. Avyanna, as the queen, now sets out on the journey to right her wrongs. However, the world is experiencing something strange. Tainted mana has started to appear on land, and it’s spreading rapidly, corrupting everything in sight.

Elma’ar

Following the trail of the Crimson Elves, you’ll arrive at Elma’ar, a region of elves ruled by Avyanna’s friend Ormeriel. As you arrive in the area, you’ll have to head west towards the Elma’ar Temple.

Here, you’ll have to talk to the elf guarding the area, Ka’hal. She’ll inform you of the Separatists, a group of feral elves that is spreading alongside the tainted mana.

Ka’hal asks you to go and defeat some of the rebel elves. You can find them towards the south of Ka’hal’s location. After defeating them, return to Ka’hal to report your success.

You’ll then finally be allowed to meet Ormeriel. She asks you to find Melendrach, as she suspects he might be in trouble.

Opening Up The Skyless Grove

The Skyless Grove is toward the northwest of Elma’ar Temple. As you approach the area, you won’t be able to enter it due to the entrance being blocked by the corrupted Bloodtrees.

Here, you have to go west. The path branches into three, and you’ll find a bloodtree at the end of each path. You have to burn these three bloodtrees to open up the Skyless Grove.

You can burn the bloodtree in the south without any issues. The bloodtree on the west path has some enemies guarding it, and you’ll have to defeat them to burn it.

As for the bloodtree in the northwest, you’ll find a Blood Shaman conducting a ritual here. You can opt not to fight against them by submitting proof that the bloodtree really needs to be burnt. However, I chose the option to fight against them, and it led the companions to think that this situation could have been handled peacefully.

After defeating the Blood Shaman and burning all three bloodtrees, you’ll be able to unlock the Skyless Grove.

Melendrach In Skyless Grove

As you enter the Skyless Grove, keep going deeper until you find Melendrach. He’s unconscious and stuck in something related to tainted mana. He rambles on about about damming the river.

Go deeper into the cave. You’ll find some elves bathing in the tainted river. Defeat them quickly and keep progressing.

As you go deeper in the cave, you’ll find the river’s path is held open by a few wooden pillars. You can interact with the pillars to block the river’s path.

Next, you have to go back to where you found Melendrach, who will be free now. Melendrach joins your party as a companion, and you’ll have to talk with Ormeriel to discuss your next move.

Silken Watch

Ormeriel asks Ka’hal to head over to the Silken Watch and wait for your arrival. She’ll then remind you of her prophecy. Now, you have to head toward the Silken Watch, south of the Elma’ar Temple.

As you approach the gate for the Silken Watch, you’ll find that it is blocked, and the rebels have already made it there before you. You’ll have to find another way to get inside. If you go north from the gate, you’ll find a staircase leading underground.

Exploring The Silken Watch

As you go inside the Silken Watch, you’ll shortly come across a Blood Rite spot. If you go left from here, you’ll encounter a puzzle where the note says that the statues have to match their partner’s gaze.

Here, you have to rotate the statues so they’re facing each other. In this area, you’ll find a way to go deeper into the location, and you’ll find a group of elves here. There are two quest markers here.

You’ll first have to defeat the elven guards, and they’ll drop a key. Go and talk to Pyrmelan. She’ll open the path ahead for you. There’s a healing fountain ahead.

The gate ahead leads to the big tree, but it is locked right now, so you’ll have to head right. The path leads you to a locked door, but there’s a statue on the opposite end of the path.

There are markings on the wall, and these markings match the plates around the statue. You have to press the plates in sequence from left to right, depending on the markings on the wall. This will unlock the gate, and you’ll be able to reach the area with the big tree.

From the tree, go right. Shortly ahead, you’ll find a path leading to the main lever here. There’s a fast travel point shortly before the lever. Make sure you’re fully healed because once you interact with the lever, you’ll have to fight against some challenging enemies.

The Betrayal In The Silken Watch

After activating the main gate lever, you’ll have to exit the location and head back to the entrance of Silken Watch. After entering the Silken Watch, go south towards the quest marker.

Here, you’ll find some Separatists fighting against an elf. Ka’hal is here as well. Ka’hal betrayed Ormeriel’s orders and went to fight against the Separatists herself with her band of rebels. However, she’s having a tough time in her battle against the Separatists.

Here, you can choose to let Ka’hal fight against the Separatists by herself, which will lead to her demise, or you can choose to help her.

I picked the option to help her. If you do so as well, then you have to fight the Separatists. After winning the battle, you’ll have to decide what to do with Ka’hal. I exiled her instead of putting her on trial.

After that, you’ll have to return to your throne to make a decision. The Separatists have invaded the Wulf Coast, and you’ll have to do something to help and warn Countess Wolfheart.

Stopping The Separatists

The Elven Alliance has sent some troops after the Separatists, but they did so unannounced. Countess Wolfheart is unaware and has been fighting off against all elves indiscriminately. You’ll have to handle the situation and decide what should be done here.

For the first part of the decision, you have to decide which faction should assume responsibility for the mishap. I picked the option to make the Queen take the responsibility herself.

In the next part, you have to decide how to weed out the Separatists, as they have deep roots in the Elven Alliance. I picked the option to let the Elven Alliance pass judgment on their own kind as it offers better odds for increasing their ratings.

For the last decision, you have to decide how you’ll deal with the situation with Countess Wolfheart. I picked the option where the Queen reaches Lady Wolfheart herself to stop her from attacking the elven troops.

Return To The Wulf Coast

Now, you’ll have to go to the Wulf Coast to talk to Countess Wolfheart. You’ll find her being attacked by the rebels. Help her out by defeating the elves in the battle.

After that, you will have to head to the Elven Pass to fight against the final threat in the region. You have to prepare well before this last encounter because there will be a boss battle here.

Galthiel, The Tangled One

As you arrive in the Elven Pass and interact with the elves there. It will initiate a cutscene, where you’ll see the Separatists retreat as they’re driven off. However, just when they’re about to lose, a familiar figure will emerge from the ground.

It is Galthiel, and he has been turned into a monstrosity by the tainted mana. You’ll now have to battle him, but this boss battle is different from any that you’ve faced so far.

It is also recommended that you’re at least level 16 before attempting to fight him. Furthermore, there are plenty of gimmicks going on in this battle that you’ll have to keep an eye on.

Avyanna receives a unique skill that blocks one of the mana pools, stopping Galthiel from emerging from it after diving in. However, it also comes with significant drawbacks, so you’ll have to be careful about using it.

In the first half of the battle, Galthiel will keep attacking normally, often diving into the mana pool to emerge in some other pool along the sides of the battle stage.

Once you’ve taken out at least 40% HP, Galthiel will reset the stage, regardless of your turn. He’ll return to his starting spot, and some Separatists will join him in battle.

Now, you have to watch out for the Separatists, as well as Galthiel himself. Furthermore, Galthiel can create spikes in the arena. You can destroy these spikes by attacking them.

However, Galthiel can also empower these spikes, in which case they’ll shoot thorns in an area around them. Some of the tile rows may also start glowing as the battle goes on. Galthiel will cause mana to surge from these tiles, damaging all units on them.

You also have to avoid clustering your units together in this battle, because most of Galthiel’s attacks affect an area. If your units are packed together, they’ll take a ton of damage.

The Tragedy

After you’ve defeated Galthiel, the elves will tell you that Ormeriel was to follow them shortly, but she hasn’t arrived yet.

This makes Avyanna extremely worried. You’ll now have to head back to Elma’ar and make your way to the temple.

As you arrive in the temple, you’ll find that Ormeriel was defeated and the prophecy was fulfilled. Struck by grief, you’ll have to head back to your castle and talk to your companions.

Your allies will console you, but you’ve received a letter from your spy, and it appears that she’s in danger. You’ll have to immediately head to the Plains of Agthos, the next region.
