Welcome to Discounty. Your aunt’s handed you the keys to her discount supermarket, and now it’s your job to keep the shelves stocked, the customers happy, and maybe make a bit of money along the way. You’ll be arranging displays, cutting deals, and getting to know the locals — each with their quirks and opinions about your store.
In this walkthrough, we cover all the interactions, quests, and side quests needed to complete the story of Discounty. In this part of the walkthrough, we cover Day 12 and 13, we sneak into the Ragged Forest and meet up with Tammy and we expand our name to be known as a Real Supermarket by increasing the tiers on our Trade Deals.
Day 12
Task: A Factory Enshrouded
This seems to be the most pressing task at the moment. We need to figure out who is making deliveries to the Factory in the forest. Head to the store. Order anything you need for the store from the computer.
Speak to Guy when he shows up. He will agree to take you to the Factory once the shift ends.
Start today’s shift. Focus on keeping the CAR high for the Goal: Known as a Real Supermarket.
After your shift is over, head to the Town Hall. You will find Guy waiting there for you.
Get in the back of the van to start the adventure.
Tip: You might want to que up posters in the printing station since you are near the town hall.
Guy will take off once you get in the back. Once you get there, you will see a conversation between Tammy and Elmer. Once the cutscene ends, go speak to Tammy. Once that conversation ends, this will end the Task: Making Acquaintances.
Back in town, thank Gus and realise that Tammy will be showing up at the store and needs to be impressed for the trade deal to happen.
Tip: Buy shelves that boost sales from the hardware store whenever possible.
Goal: Known as a Real Supermarket
If you did well today that should be the first day of having a CAR higher than 55%. If you posters printed put them up – at the bar, at the fish auction house and the bus stop. I had 3/5 at the time of writing.
Goal: Operate as a Real Supermarket
When you are the Harbor, speak to Barbara about upgrading your Trade Deal to tier 2. Note that you cannot speak about upgrading to Tier 2 without having spent atleast 2 perk points with the traders.
Once you speak to her this will start the Task: Surveying the Sea, wherein you need to come see her tomorrow to see if she got the approval for the new product.
I could speak to Fisher but I haven’t spent two perk points on our current deal yet. Same with Karl.
Tip: Focus on selling more Oats, more fishy sticks and more fishes by using booster items and shelves being sold at the hardware store.
Customer Relation Event 2: Cornelius
On your way to the trailer, if you inspect the sign on John Key’s house it will trigger Cornelius’ event.
There’s not much else you can do tonight so end the night.
Day 13
Goal: A Factory Enshrouded (continued)
Hopefully Tammy will come by the store today. So let’s head there and set up.
Task: Surveying the Sea
If you run into Barbara talk to her about her product and she will ask you to interview 5 people.
If you run into Elmer near the park there are multiple quests with him.
Task: The Old Staircase
Once you speak to him about it he will tell you he is going to fix it tomorrow. Check back tomorrow on it.
Task: Vermin Ties
He will tell you something weird is going on with the rats. You need to figure it out on your own – this is a Chapter 3 problem right now.
Next for the Task: Surveying the Sea you can ask him questions. You can do the same to anyone you run into while heading to the store. You need to interview a total of 5 people. Note that you cannot interview Cornelius about this.
If you have time put some posters for the Goal: Known as a Real Supermarket. I was at 4/5 at the time of writing.
Once you get to the store check everything is stocked or not and start the shift.
Tammy will come by the store – she will usually want something that is out of stock and will leave angry. So you need to wait till you can have all possible items that you can sell on hand.

If you kept your CAR high you should have 2 days of rating above 50%. If you have been putting up posters you should have all 5 up by now as well.
Goal: A Factory Enshrouded
Once you step out of the store, Tammy will yell at you and give you another chance. Meet up with the vendors around town and stock up on their items – if you don’t have them. Its Saturday, Fishy Sticks restock on Mondays so wait for that and come pick them up early morning.
Task: Surveying the Sea (continued)
If you have completed all 5 surveys go speak to Barbara. Once again you need to wait for Barbara to attend the meeting and tell you if she got approval.
There’s nothing else going on in town, so turn in.
