Welcome to Discounty. Your aunt’s handed you the keys to her discount supermarket, and now it’s your job to keep the shelves stocked, the customers happy, and maybe make a bit of money along the way. You’ll be arranging displays, cutting deals, and getting to know the locals — each with their quirks and opinions about your store.
In this walkthrough, we cover all the interactions, quests, and side quests needed to complete the story of Discounty. In this part of the walkthrough, we cover Days 25, 26 and 27, we finally have the 8000 shills saved up and we hire Chester to work with us at Discounty.

Day 25
After running the shop for 3 days, today I had the required 8000 shills.
Go speak to Derek after your shift.
Goal: Profitable as a Real Supermarket
This will complete the goal. It will start the Task: Unhealthy Competition, which is required to finish the Goal: A Real Supermarket. Go speak to Tellar.
Task: Unhealthy Competition
Talk to Tellar about the bank’s requirement.
You have to find a suitable candidate to hire. Well, you don’t have much of a choice. Derek will come by and force you to hire his son, Chester. Go to the park now. Watch the cutscene and speak to Chester.
Refresh the posters and pick up trash around the town and if there’s nothing else to be done for the day, end the day.
Day 26
Task: Unhealthy Competition (continued)
This morning starts with a surprise. As you get closer to the store, you will see Chester has set up his own lemonade stand – infront of the store. Tellar shows up and tells you to mix something in Chester’s lemonade to get him to stop.
Mix toothpaste from the store with his lemonade.
Once the lemonade stall is shut down, Chester will join as an employee from the next day. Go through the day and end the shift. There’s not much left to do now – so go to bed.
Day 27
Task: Unhealthy Competition (continued)
Head to the store now to find Chester waiting. Speak to him and he will join as your colleage. This will conclude the task.
Goal: A Real Supermarket
Go Speak to Derek now.
He will give you a 38-page-long loan agreement. Go speak to Tellar now. She will ask you to meet her tomorrow for the new location. Go back to the store and start the day. Chester will be walking around restocking items.
Once the day is done, go to bed.
Day 28
Goal: A real Supermarket
Go meet Tellar now. She is outside the store.
She wants to take over John Key’s house – which is what Tammy wanted too. You have to spend the next few days getting ready for the expansion. The hardware store has new furniture too. Inside, the store is much bigger now. This will end Chapter 2.
It’s Sunday, so the store won’t open. Go around town – check the new stuff at the hardware store, refresh your stock from Tammy, print posters and put them up. Expansion is in 2 days. Go to bed once its 23:00.
