Welcome to Discounty. Your aunt’s handed you the keys to her discount supermarket, and now it’s your job to keep the shelves stocked, the customers happy, and maybe make a bit of money along the way. You’ll be arranging displays, cutting deals, and getting to know the locals — each with their quirks and opinions about your store.
In this walkthrough, we cover all the interactions, quests, and side quests needed to complete the story of Discounty. In this part of the walkthrough, we cover Days 32, 33, and 34. We start the investigations to figure what who is destroying Blomkest. and unlock the third tiers of our trade deals.
Day 32
After you wake up this morning, check the newspaper. We have two goals today. One is to sell more Fishy Fishes than Boney Herrings for the Goal: Fishy Business. Set up the store like that. Keep the Fishy Fishes front and center. And get as much cash as we can to get to the 15000 shills needed for Mrs. Andersen. Head to the harbour.
Task: Vermin Ties (Continued)
At the bottom right corner of the harbor you will find a congregation of rats.
Speak to Barbara and Fisher. Barbara will suggest getting a house of sorts for them. To complete this you need check Solruna’s store every day till a Pink Dollhouse shows up on sale. You need to buy that and place that on the pier. Go check Solruna’s store today. If its not there go open the store.
Goal: Forced Philanthropy
Keep a high CAR score and check out customers. Need to get to 15,000 shills.
Goal: Fishy Business (continued)
If you planned it right you will have sold more of Barbara’s stock than Fishers. Speak to Barbara now. Fisher will come in asking to buy the fish auction house.
Apologizing to Fisher will now unlock his third tier – Dried Seaweed.
This will also complete the Goal: Fishy Business. You need to get back to Mrs. Andersen to continue of Goal: Resolutions.
Goal: Resolutions
Meet up with Mrs Andersen on the streets or in her apartment and give her the report.
Pick the next task you want to tackle. Speaking about the green sea will unlock the Goal: Waste Waters.
Goal: Waste Waters
Head back to the Harbor again. Speak to Barbara to hear her corporate speak.
Speak to Fisher now. Fisher will tell you about a commotion in the middle of the night. You need to find someone in town who knows about this. You can talk to everyone till you find the right person or talk to Ted.
Ted will tip you off to visit the harbor after 23:30. So wait till the clock strikes 23:30 and head to the harbor.
You will find the cause of the environmental damage. You have to now confront Barbara. But its late and you should head home. This is a problem for tomorrow.
Day 33
Before you start the shift, go find Barbara.
Goal: Waste Waters (Continued)
Confront her about the waste pipe.
The end of this conversation will result in unlocking the third tier of Barbara’s latest product – Pickles. This will end the Goal: Waste Waters but the additional hiccup is you have to now dispose of Barbara’s waste.
Find Mrs. Andersen to progress the Goal: Resolutions. But for now head back to the store. Go through the shift as efficiently as possible.
Customer Relation Event 2: Mrs. Andersen
Once you step out of the store, Chester will come and tell you that he hasn’t seen Mrs. Andersen today. This will start the Task: Damsel in Distress.
Task: Damsel in Distress
Mrs. Andersen is in her apartment and she needs the mud outside her house cleaned.
There is a bucket right outside, so clean the sidewalk for her.
Go inside and talk to her again. This will complete the Task: Damsel in Distress.
Now talk to her about the Goal: Resolution.
Talk to her about the Contaminated water supply and it will start the Goal: Making Amends.
Task: Vermin Ties
If you go to the Antique store you can pick up a Dollhouse, it shows up from time to time. So keep visiting the store till it shows up. Buy it and place it at the harbor for the rats.
If you now go to the grate opposite the bus stop you will find more rats there.
Speaking to Tellar will let you know they have been eating toxic waste. Give them a bucket of Fishy Waste from Barbara.
Goal: Making Amends
Find and talk to Elmer.
He will ask you to talk to Tammy. If you have time do that or leave it for tomorrow. I didn’t have time. So I ended the day.
Day 34
Goal: Making Amends (Continued)
Go find Tammy now. Ask her about the water.
This will unlock the last tier of the trade deal with Tammy.
Head towards the farmlands now. A cutscene will start. You have to ask Karl about the fertilizer. Once you get to his farm a cutscene will start.
You need to get the spice infused apple and fresh hake for Karl. This will start the Task: An Apple of the Occult.
Head to the store now to start the day. Finish the shift and take stock of how much shill you have accumulated. I had 3264 at this point.

After the shift, take an apple from the store and head to Solruna’s place.
She will ask for a sample of the fertilizer that Karl used. Go to the Silo in the farmlands and pick up a sample.
Now return to Solruna. She will now ask you to go to her ritual site in the forest after 20:00. Wait till 20:00 then head to site at the north end of the forest. Once you get there, a cutscene will play. You will get the infused apple to complete the task.
Task: A Fish fit for Oatmeal
Head to the harbor to speak to Fisher now. He has no Hake but Barbara does. Go find her and speak to her.
Once again she will ask you sell 10 Fishy Sticks to win her game before she gives you a single Hake fish. End the day if there’s nothing else for you to do.
