Welcome to Discounty. Your aunt’s handed you the keys to her discount supermarket, and now it’s your job to keep the shelves stocked, the customers happy, and maybe make a bit of money along the way. You’ll be arranging displays, cutting deals, and getting to know the locals — each with their quirks and opinions about your store.
In this walkthrough we cover all the interactions, quests and side quests needed to complete the story of Discounty. In this part of the walkthrough we cover day 8 and 9 we quickly complete the requirements to expand the store.
Day 8
Expand and Conquer (Continued)
We need to get 3000 shills to buy the tea-shop. There isn’t much to do in town so head to the store and set up the shelves.
If you have completed the challenges for the day, you can and should unlock new items. I used the 2 points I got today to unlock shampoo and ground beef. I ended the day with 2681 shills.
Tip: It’s Monday which means Barbara will restock today. Might want to get some fishy sticks. As well as oats from Karl the farmer.
If you go and talk to Hilda now you will hear about Elmer’s date.
The story won’t progress without finishing the Goal: Expand and conquer so just end the day.
Day 9
Head to the store and check the challenges for the day.
I am going to skip the 2 crates of Ground beef because I want to get to 3000 shills asap.
Check the shelves and clean the floor if you need to and open the store. Go through the day and hopefully you will have 3000 shills for the day.
Goal: Expand and Conquer (continued)
Head to the bank and talk to Derek.
The upgrade to the store will be ready tomorrow.
Explore the town if you want to but there’s nothing really going on so end the day.
