Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined takes you on a journey through the islands, as you try to defeat the Demon King and get rid of his pawns from all over the map. However, you’ll encounter many challenges during your journey, and while some of these challenges are easy, some can be very annoying to deal with. La Bravoure appears on the map after you’ve liberated Alltrades Abbey. This town doesn’t exist in the past, and you’ll have to head to the present to find it. While this region becomes available quite early on, you have to complete the Hardlypool Region to fully uncover the secrets of this area.

The Town Of La Bravoure
The La Bravoure region can be found on the southeast edge of the map. As you arrive in the town, you’ll hear the people talk about the legend of a hero who has been sealed till the arrival of the Demon King.
There’s also a stone fragment inside the well, near the entrance of La Bravoure. You can take the fragment and return to the town.

Head straight to the tavern, and here, you’ll find Honore. He’s trying to give the magic carpet to the adventurers, but no one wants it.
After the short exchange, Honore will return to his house. You have to find him in his house, which is in the northwest part of the town, on an elevated cliff.

Honore recognizes that you’re adventurers, and wants to give you the flying carpet. He’ll ask you to follow him. He takes you to the treasure room, where he’ll give you the flying carpet.
You can also open all the treasure chests in the room. Honore will shortly leave with his maid after giving you the flying carpet.

The Fake Flying Carpet
As you head out of the town to check out the flying carpet, you’ll notice that it can’t fly. Maribel is so mad at this and asks you to go and talk to Honore about this.
Return to the town and talk to Honore in his house. When you tell the Honore about the magic carpet not being able to fly, he’ll take the carpet back, visibly disappointed. He didn’t have any intention to fool you.

As you leave the house, Honore’s maid will stop you. She reveals that she is the one who has stolen Honore’s real flying carpet, replacing it with a fake one.
She asks you to find and bring the Mermaid Moon, an item obtained from the depths of the sea, to show that you’re really deserving of the Flying Carpet.

The Mermaid Moon
The Mermaid Moon can be obtained by defeating Gracos in the Hardlypool Region. You’ll encounter this region a little further into the story.
Once you’ve got the Mermaid Moon, you can return to the La Bravoure region and give it to Honore’s maid. She’ll then hand you over the real Flying Carpet. Note that the Mermaid Moon is in the equipment tab.

She’ll stand in front of the church, saying that she forgot where the stairs were. You have to head behind the church and interact with the ground there to uncover the path.
Here, as the maid gives you the Flying Carpet, Honore will arrive. The maid will have to reveal the secret that she stole the real Flying Carpet from him, on the orders of his father.

Flying On The Flying Carpet
Keep in mind that the Flying Carpet only works in the present. You can use it to access the small shrine in the La Bravoure region, where a spirit of the man of the Order, Herve, will give you Sir Mervyn’s sword, asking you to give it to him when he’s finally awakened.
The spirit of Herve also talks about a glowing stone, saying that as the time for Sir Mervyn’s revival comes close, the stone will get hotter and hotter. There’s also a stone fragment in this shrine.

The Sizzling Stone
If you ask Maribel, she’ll tell you that she remembers your uncle Pike having a Sizzling Stone back in Estard. Head to Estard and enter the inn there. You’ll find Uncle Pike sitting on the counter.
Uncle Pike will tell you that you’re just a little late, and he has already sold the Sizzling Egg to a wealthy man called Bulgio. He says that Bulgio owns a private dock on the island to the west of Estard.

You have to head over to the L’Arca region and use the flying carpet to get to the other side of the river. Enter the mansion. You’ll find a stone fragment in the mansion.
Go upstairs to Level 2 of the mansion, and here, you’ll find Bulgio. Bulgio refuses to give you the stone, but if you leave the mansion, he’ll come around.

Bulgio asks you to take him with you on the journey to awaken the hero. However, for the next part, you have to find the tallest tower in the world.

The Tallest Tower In The World
There aren’t many towers that you’ve encountered in the game, but finding the tallest tower in the world can be quite a challenge.
You have to head to the Hardlypool region. There are two towers in the present. Head to the tower on the west of the island; you can only get there with the Flying Carpet.

The tower is filled with strong enemies. Once you’re at the top, you’ll have to raise the Sizzling Stone in your hands. It will start to glow, and Sir Mervyn will come out of it.
Some monsters will try to attack you, but Sir Mervyn destroys them all, and he also takes that sword from you that Herve gave you in the shrine. He’ll then join your party.
