Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined features a variety of different islands. While some of these islands are dealing with monsters, some of them are going through curses of evil. Each island’s problem is dealt with in a different way. You’ll have to gather information and deal with the problem the islanders are dealing with to make the island appear in the present ocean. Stone And Rain
As you arrive in Greenthumbs Garden village, you’ll find that all the villagers have been turned to stone. There’s also a monster standing on the roof of the mayor’s house.
Go through the mayor’s house to reach the roof. Talk to the monster called Rainiac here. Fight against it, and you’ll find out that this village is suffering the same fate as Regenstein.

After defeating Raniac, you’ll use the Angel’s Tears to heal the entire town. Everyone will turn back to human normally, except for one man named Carraway.
Carraway was trying to protect Lavender from the rain, but ended up turning to stone and hasn’t recovered yet.

Drama
There’s some drama going on between Dill, the mayor’s son, and Lavender. Dill likes Lavender and doesn’t like the fact that she’s upset because Carraway isn’t getting better. You’ll then have to talk to the mayor, and he’ll ask you to look for Dill.
If you go to Dill’s room, you’ll find him talking to Cayenne, his maid. His maid likes him and wants him to forget about Lavender.

Anyhow, you’ll have to move around the town to figure out what’s going on. In the end, Carraway’s father would suggest that there’s a medicine that can cure any illness, and if you were to find it, you would be able to cure Carraway.
Now, you have to head to the bar, where you’ll find a man talking about how he used to deliver medicine from this island to Emberdale.

Paying A Visit To Emberdale
Now, you have to head to the Emberdale of the past. As you return to the shop where Palmela is usually at, you’ll find her maid instead. She’ll tell you that Palmela is at the Gaffer’s house.
Go to the Gaffer’s house, and here you’ll find Palmela. She’ll ask you to come to the shop, and she might be able to help there.

Head over to the shop and talk to Palmela there. She gives you the medicine that will be able to cure Carraway.
Take the medicine and go back to the portal. Head to the present, and then return to the Greenthumb Gardens.

Curing Carraway
Once you return to the Greenthumb Garden, you’ll find his father waiting for you at the entrance. You’ll then give him the medicine from Palmela, and he’ll recover.
Celebrations are due that night, and when everyone is gathered for fun, you’ll find Carraway missing. If you go and look, you’ll find Cayenne talking to Carraway, asking him to run away with Lavender, but he refuses.

Return to the party, but shortly, rain will start pouring. Everyone will hide, but it’s just regular rain. You’ll then find Carraway and Lavender talking in the rain, where Lavender asks him to run away with her.
Carraway will refuse. If you head over to the village’s exit, you’ll find Carraway there. He’s leaving the village, alone. Now that the main problem of the island is solved, you should head to the present and check if the island appeared.

Greenthumb Gardens In The Present
As you arrive in the area, you’ll find another town. This town is called Wilted Heart. Greenthumb Gardens is no more. If you head to the top of the abbey, you’ll find two graves here, side by side.
One grave is of Lavender, and the other belongs to Carraway. Thinking that they might’ve been reunited, your party members suggest going back to the past and having a look.

Return to the Shrine of Mysteries, and here, you’ll find a fragment has dropped out of the pedestal leading to Greenthumb Gardens.
Place the fragment back and travel to Greenthumb Gardens. You’ll find that 30 years have passed since your last visit. Carraway founded another village called Wilted Heart, while Greenthumb Gardens is still surviving.

Wilted Heart
As you return to the past, head to the top of the mountain. You’ll find Lavender’s grave there already. It appears that she had been silently watching over Carraway’s Garden down below.
Return to the Wilted Heart village, and talk to Carraway. He’ll ask you to lead him to Lavender’s Grave. Go to the top of the mountain again.

Cayenne’s Evil
Now that you’ve dealt with Carraway’s issue, it’s time to check up on Greenthumb Gardens. You’ll find that Dill is all grown up, but he’s not the mayor. He married Lavender, but she left him soon afterward.
As you head to the Mayor’s house, you’ll find that there’s a maid named Camomile, who plans to feed the dog the leftover food Cayenne asked her to throw away. Cayenne is the new mayor’s wife now.

She goes out and gives the dog the food, but the dog passes out. It appears that the food was poisoned. But you don’t have any proof of it right now.
Head back to the mayor’s house, and you’ll find Camomile arguing with Cayenne about her secret mix. The mayor has been sick, and it appears that Camomile suspects that Cayenne is poisoning her husband to keep him sick.

Camomile is looking for proof. All you have to do is exit the mayor’s house and then enter it again. When you enter it again, you’ll bump into Cayenne, and she’ll drop something on the ground. It’s the poison bottle.

Reckoning
Give the poison bottle to Camomile, and she’ll take it to the man looking after the dog to make sure it is indeed a bottle of poison.
Head back to the Mayor’s house, and here, you’ll find him about to eat dinner with Cayenne. Talk to the mayor at the dinner table once you’ve got Camomile back in the mayor’s house.

All will be revealed here, and the mayor kicks out Cayenne. Dill comes along, asking to take Cayenne away. Dill agrees that Cayenne’s plans weren’t nice, and then the two of them leave the town forever.
Once all that is done, you’re free to return to the present and find more stone fragments.
