Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined features a journey where you have to head to the past and help out islands to make them appear in the ocean in the present day. As you keep playing, you’d have made entire continents appear in the ocean where there was nothing at the start of the game. Arrival
As you arrive in the Hubble region, you’ll notice several Castles. Rucker Castle is right in front of the teleporter. It is a little beaten down, but it’s still standing.
Leave the castle and go deeper into the region. You’ll find the Hubble village towards the east of the island. Make your way straight to the castle. You’ll have to lie that you’re an envoy for now.

The guards will go and talk to the king to confirm your identity. However, in the meantime, you have to go left. You’ll find the king’s mother standing on the wall to the left of the castle.
The Queen Mother will give you a letter with her seal on it. This seal will allow you to pass through the blockade to the south, so that you can reach the Grand Conjuratorium and meet the Wizard Chief.

Path To The Grand Conjuratorium
After acquiring the letter, you’ll shortly be kicked and exiled out of the castle. Head to the blockade south of Hubble. You’ll be allowed to pass through.
Head straight upstairs inside the Consuratorium, and you’ll find the Wizard Chief in the corner of the room with the giant cauldron.

The Wizard Chief asks you to find the starshard. He needs it to complete a spell. The starshard can be found in the cave to the west of the Conjuratorium.

Falls Hollow Cave
As you enter the cave, you have to make your way deeper into the cave. There won’t be any useful staircases, and you’ll just have to travel from one room to another on the same level.
Shortly after, you’ll come out in the open. The path ahead is blocked by a gushing waterfall, but there’s a small house where you’ll find a couple. You’ll also find a stone fragment inside.

The couple will tell you that the waterfall stops just for a moment in the morning. They’ll also offer to stay the night.
Next morning, you’ll be woken up by them, and you’ll have to head out immediately to cross to the other side of the waterfall.

From here, you’ll find staircases going deeper into the cave. Once you’re on the top level, you’ll find the starshard in the middle of flowers. Return to the Conjuratorium to give the item to the Wizard Chief.

The Wizz
The Wizz, who is the Wizard Chief, is extremely grateful for your help, and he’ll tell you that the King of Hubble is planning to revive the Incantation. The Incantation is an evil power that can destroy entire continents.
However, The Wizz is planning a counter for that and is preparing a grand spell of his own. That’s why he needed the Starshard.

The preparation of the spell is a failure for now, but the Wizz asks you for some more time. He’ll give you his seal of approval and ask you to delay the king as much as possible in his task.
Take the seal of approval and head through the blockade to arrive at Hubble.

King Hybris
As you arrive in Hubble, you’ll find a young girl casting spells. There’s a man wearing a black cloak, and he casts a gigantic spell towards the girl. However, Father Martyn comes to save the girl in time.
Father Martyn then tells you about King Hybris and the tragic past where Father Martyn and Hybris lost a dear friend due to war. This caused King Hybris to look for sources of power beyond imagination.

Once all that is done, you’ll have to head straight to the castle. Show the seal of approval from the Wizard Chief at the gates, and they’ll let you in.
You’ll also be granted an audience with the king, but he doesn’t want to listen to you. Shortly afterwards, the man in the black cloak will arrive, telling King Hybris that he has finally found the incantation for him.

After the king leaves the chambers, the man in the cloak reveals himself to be the envoy of the Demon King, and you’ll have to fight against him.

The Incantation
Once you’ve defeated the envoy, one of the chancellors will come to ask you for help in stopping the king. You’ll then have to follow the king to the Hubble Village.
Head to the building guarded by a guard near the entrance of the Hubble Village, and they’ll let you in. You’ll find a stone fragment in this area as well.

As you go deeper, you’ll find Father Martyn here, but he’s being stopped by one of the king’s underlings. As you go deeper into the inquisitory, you’ll find the king near a cauldron.
He’ll finally activate the spell and start to glow. He then flies out of the inquisitory. You’ll then find him on the bridge leading to the Hubble Castle.

The Great Leveller
King Hybris has turned into a monster. He’ll immediately defeat you. After you’re defeated and the king retreats to the castle, the Wizard Chief will arrive. He has finally completed the counterspell for the Incantation!
He heals your party and comes with you. You’ll then have to head to the castle. From the entrance, go left, and you’ll enter the water tower. Take the stairs from here to reach the second floor, and head out on the castle wall.

You’ll find the Wizard Chief here. King Hybris then destroys his castle, but The Wizz manages to bring him down using the Great Leveller. He isn’t completely defeated yet, and you’ll have to manually go and beat some sense into the king.
You’ll then have to fight against King Hybris. He’s much weaker now, and you’ll be able to defeat him with ease.

The Aftermath
King Hybris is then taken away by his father and mother. The incantation caused him to lose his mind, but he has gained consciousness and plans to better his ways.
The Wizz then teaches you the Great Leveller. However, he also promises that he’ll one day perfect this spell, and he’ll teach you that too. So he asks you to find him in the present.

The Conjuratorium’s Puzzle
Inside the Conjuratorium, and inside Hubble Castle: Water Tower – Level 2, there’s a puzzle with four entrances, with the left entrance being watched over by a stone statue.
In the Conjuratorium, you’ll find the staircase in the middle, surrounded by water. Now, with this puzzle, you have to start from the left entrance and exit from the right. After that, enter from the entrance on the top and exit from the entrance on the bottom.

Once you do so, the puzzle will be solved, and a path will open, leading you to the underground area of the Conjuratorium.
If you solve this puzzle in the present Conjuratorium, you’ll find a stone fragment, as well as the Wizard Chief’s grave. Interacting with the grave will allow you to learn the Greater Leveller spell.

Maribel’s Plight
As you return to the present, a fisherman will approach you, asking Maribel to return home because her father, the mayor of Pilchard Bay, is sick. Maribel immediately leaves with the fisherman.
Head to Pilchard Bay and into the mayor’s house. You’ll find that the doctor wants Maribel to stay with her father until he gets better, but his life is out of danger. Maribel gives you all of her items and says goodbye to you.

As you’re leaving, your mother, Pearl, arrives, asking you to stop by. After a little rest, it’s night, and you’re party is enjoying the food at night. Talk to everyone, and your mom will remind you of a promise.
You’ll then enter a flashback. You have to find Maribel here, who has run out of her home. You can find her hiding inside the boat at the docks.

Once the flashback is over, go and talk to Maribel once again, and she’ll talk to her father, and he’ll ask her to continue on her adventures, because that’s what he wants her to do.
Maribel will then join your party once again, and you’ll be able to continue on your journey with her.

The Hubble Of The Present
Now, return to the Hubble Castle of the present. Here, you’ll find a new queen, and notice that the town has become a musical hub.
The new queen, Euphonia, is so nice to you. Once she hears your story and your need for the Torban of Truth player, she offers to organize a competition to invite Torban players globally to find someone who can take part in the ritual.

However, preparations for that will take some time, and you can continue on your journey till then.
