Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined has you traveling to the past and restoring islands in the present. By now, you should’ve restored most of the islands to the present seas. It’s time to move towards finally preparing for your face-off against the Demon King. However, you’ll have to do some other stuff before you’re finally ready. For more information on the game, don’t forget to visit its official Steam page here.
Pool Of Piety
Now that you’ve uncovered all of the islands and have acquired the three turquoise stone fragments, it’s time to head for the Pool of Piety. You can find this place in the Frobisher region.
As you enter the Pool of Piety, you’ll find a guard standing in front of the Altar. You’ll have to show him your Sacred Stone. The gate down below will open. Head to the pond and step on the lotus; you’ll be transported underwater.

Once you enter the Coral Cave, you have to make your way deeper into the cave. As you progress, you’ll eventually arrive at the Altar of Arrival.
Use your sacred stone here, and a pedestal will come from the sky over the pond. Step on the pedestal and you’ll be taken to the Divine Shrine.

The Divine Shrine
Make your way to the structure north of the Divine Shrine. You’ll find a chamber here with a turquoise stone pedestal. Place the three turquoise stone fragments, and you’ll be teleported to the Pool of Piety region of the past.
Head to the Pool of Piety structure. You’ll have to make your way through the Coral Cave until you arrive at the Altar of Arrival.

Here, you’ll find another black fragment. Use your Sacred Stone on top of the Stairs and that will cause one more part of the Divine Shrine, which has been broken down in the past, to go up in the air.
Use the teleport to return to the present and make your way to the Divine Shrine again. Here, you’ll find another structure at the Divine Shrine to the south.

As you arrive in this chamber, you’ll find a lady. Talk to the lady, and you’ll get the Skystone, a vessel that can be used to travel extremely high in the air.
There’s also a black fragment in the room. After that, you will need one more black fragment to head for the Demon King’s shrine.

The Dig Site
Now that you have the Skystone, you can travel to the cave in the northeast of the Hardypool region. You’ll find a man in a black cloak here. He’ll offer you the final black fragment. Once you’ve acquired that, head to the Dig Site.

Go through the hut where you found the serpent’s skull and keep going. You’ll find a staircase going down to Underground Level 2.
Here, you’ll find a giant pit. Drop into the pit, and keep going downwards. You’ll find a black tablet pedestal here in the middle of the volcano. Place all the fragments here, and you’ll be teleported to the Malign Shrine.

Malign Shrine
As soon as you place the stone fragments in the black pedestal, you’ll see a cutscene to the point of battle between the Demon King and the Almighty. After his victory, the Demon King will go and sit on this throne.
In the Malign Shrine, you’ll have to go upwards. There are invisible pathways in the area that you can only spot by seeing the reflection.

Once you’ve reached Level 5, take the stairs in the centre of the screen. This will lead you to the room where you’ll battle against one of the Demon King’s minions, the Time Being.
The Time Being, once fired up, can disable the time for most of the characters, depriving them of their turns. Once you’ve defeated it, take the stairs up ahead, and you’ll arrive in the Demon King’s Throne Room.

The Demon King
Before you battle the demon king, make sure you’ve taken care of most of the business outside. You won’t be able to travel much until the epilogue after defeating him.
Approach the throne room once you’re ready. The Demon King is weak to ice and resistant to fire. The boss also uses debuffs like sleep.

Unlike most battles you’ve faced so far, this battle lasts for two phases. After you’ve defeated the first form, the boss will return in its true form.
Once Orgodemir fires up during phase two, it will buff its attack and defense and will perform two actions per turn. However, his weakness remains the same.

The Aftermath
Now that you’ve defeated the demon king, you’ve got to let everyone know. Return to Estard and report to the king. However, there’s one more thing that you have to do. Head to Hubble Kingdom.
You’ll then be able to find the Torban of Truth player and will be able to revive the Almighty. But things don’t go as planned, as the Almighty seems different. You’ll then have to find the four elemental spirits through the Shrine of Mysteries and put an end to the evil in the Citadel of Blight for eternal peace.
