Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined features a variety of islands, where each one offers a unique journey. Solving the issues of these islands and removing the Demon King’s influence allows these islands to appear in the present. The issues on these islands can be quite challenging to deal with, but this walkthrough will allow you to overcome them with ease. Temple Palace

As you arrive in the Al-Balad region, you’ll find the Temple Palace right in front of you. If you head inside, you’ll find it full of monsters. You have to get into the Temple Palace and go to the bottom floor.

There’s also a stone fragment in the Temple Palace – Basement Level 1. As you head to the bottom, you’ll find Hadid there. Hadid asks you to go to the village, southeast of the temple.

Exit the Temple Palace and head to the village towards the southeast. As you arrive in the village and share Hadid’s words, they’ll ask you to go and see the elder.

The elder is in the buildings towards the north. He’ll ask you to go upstairs and rest. Once you wake up, the elder will advise you to leave.

Return to the Temple Palace and make your way to the bottom floor. Here, you’ll have to fight a skeletal knight. Once you’ve defeated the knight, it will drop the necklace of Queen Fertiti.

You’ll have to stay in the Temple Palace for a while before you’re able to leave with Hadid. He’ll then wait for you outside the village.

Al-Balad

Hadid is super mad at Queen Fertiti and brings her necklace to the elder. The elder finds a letter tucked in the necklace. After a short conversation, the elder will give you the Seal of the Sands.

Hadid then heads over to the river Nihil. He wants to cross it, but it can only be done with the serpent, which is nowhere to be found. Head to the river and you’ll find that Hadid’s efforts were for nothing.

However, Hadid does mention that the serpent has had two golden horns. If you remember correctly, you saw the skull with two golden horns at the dig site in the present.

Head back to the present and make your way to the Dig Site. Talk to the doctor in the tent with the skull. He’ll allow you to take the serpent’s skull, but he wants to come with you. Agree with him and let him come with you to Al-Balad village.

Hadid’s Father

As you return with the doctor, you’ll find out that Hadid’s father has suddenly gotten sick. In the end, Hadid’s father will pass away, and he’ll take the coffin to Nihil. They also want you to send the skull back to the river Nihil.

As you’re walking away from the Nihil, the serpent will emerge from Nihil. He’ll take you and Hadid to the other side of the river.

Now, you have to make your way to the Likeness of the Great Evil. As you enter, there’s a puzzle right in the first Level. There are four statues here, and a switch in front of all of them.

You can read the inscription on the stone in front of the puzzle to get more hints. Furthermore, you can also read more about the statues, which are in the corner of each room.

Likeness Of The Great Evil

To solve the puzzle, you have to activate the switch in front of the Lion statue. Then, you have to activate the switch in front of the turtle statue.

After that, step on the switch ahead of the bird statue. Lastly, you have to trigger the switch in front of the snake statue.

This will open the path forward. Now, you have to make your way to Level 3. Here, you’ll find Queen Fertiti. Hadid will be talking with Fertiti and settling their differences.

Queen Fertiti gives you a Black Key. You have to continue on your journey in the Likeness of the Great Evil.

On Level 3, there’s another puzzle where you have to walk on the lightning path. If you avoid the path with the lightning, you’ll fall to the floor below.

On Level 5, you’ll find two priestesses. Get rid of the monsters troubling them and keep moving up. Once you’re at the top, you’ll encounter Setesh the Punisher.

Setesh The Punisher

As you reach the top, you’ll find Hadid completely defeated by Setesh the Punisher. Setesh will then fight against you. Setesh is weak to explosion attacks.

Once you’ve defeated Setesh, you’ll have to take the rubies off the Likeness’s face. Queen Fertiti will take the other ruby, while you take the one on your side.

After you’ve taken the rubies, the Likeness will crumble, and the party, as well as anyone on the top, will float through Nihil, and the villagers will save them.

You’ll then wake up inside the village. Hadid has now assumed the position of the Elder. You can also obtain the stone fragment in the store room inside the Al Balad village now.

If you talk to the Doctor in the village, he’ll tell you that he plans to stay in the past now. He’ll also give you a care package, asking you to hand it over to the guard on the Dig Site in the present.

Al-Balad In The Present

As you head to the Al-Balad in the present, here you’ll find a new queen in the Temple Palace. She’ll give you a letter to join forces against the Demon King.

You have to give this letter to King Donald of Estard. There’s also a stone fragment in the Temple Palace of the present.

Before you head back to Estard, go to the Al-Balad village. Interact with the vase in the middle of the village. You’ll find a stone fragment inside.

After that, head to the Estard Castle and give the Queen’s letter to King Donald. Once you’ve given the letter, King Donald will tell you about the Roamers who have settled in the region in the northwest of the island.

Aishe And The Roamers In The Present

Head to the Roamer’s Encampment region in the present. You’ll find multiple tents have settled on the same spot as in the past inside the encampment region.

Go and talk to the people inside the tents. The guard in front of the main tent won’t let you enter right away. After you’re done, it’s night already. Go to the main tent, and you’ll notice a girl running away from it.

Go inside and talk to the elders. You’ll then have to head to the cape overlooking the ocean to talk to this lady called Aishe.

Once you get there, Aishe will then ask you to return to the encampment and talk to her in the elder’s tent.

Aishe’s Resolve

After you’re inside the tent with Aishe and the elders, she’ll reveal that she plans to head out with you to find someone who can play the Torban of Truth. Aishe asks you to fight alongside her against the three guardians of the Roamers.

The next morning, you’ll have to battle against the guardians of the Roamers. You’ll only have Aishe by your side. Once you’ve won the battle, Aishe will join your party.
