This walkthrough will cover DragonSword: Awakening Chapter 7, the penultimate chapter of its story.
In Chapter 6, we learn that Ropie is actually Lute’s grandpa. They reunite, but Lute wants to stay with the mercenaries; he happily accepts his decision. On the other hand, we’re getting close to learning about the goal of Dragon Worshippers.

A Mysterious Quest

At the Orbis Castle, talk to Dana near Anne. She’s extremely hard to talk to, as she’s always half-asleep. After a few moments, Dana returns to her senses and lets us know about Kalien’s whereabouts. As we talk, Anne tells us we have a quest to find a stone tablet on Skyridge Uplands.
Talk to Johnny after accepting the quest, and we’ll decide to visit the uplands for this endeavor. Dana also decides to join us since her and Kalien’s funds are running dry. Eventually, Kalien arrives. Talk to her, and she’ll join us too.

With this, the “A Mysterious Quest” comes to an end.
In Search of the Client

Before we can go to the Skyridge Uplands, we have to find the client first; they have spiky hair. First, go to the docks to learn their whereabouts. We learn that our client is an elf, and he’s currently on his way to Breezewind Hill. Search the nearby area, then go through the cave to find the client struggling against numerous monsters.
Surprisingly, that client is none other than Alvwyn, the Eona’s Legacy Archeologist. Save him and talk to him to conclude this quest.
The Legend of the Ancient Dragon

After meeting with Alvwyn, go to a safe place and follow the objective marker to the Autumleaf Zone. There, for the party, you have to cook a five-star meal. Adding three four-star meats into the cooking pot will be enough to cook a five-star meal, but you must boil the ingredients.
Once cooked, talk to Alvwyn, and he will tell you what the Stone Tablet is about. The tablet tells the story of Atragon, a cannibal dragon who used to slaughter its own kind. However, it wasn’t that strong, which is why Alvwyn wants to study it.

Now, when this conversation ends, head to Skyridge Uplands. There, Alvwyn will tell you that there are three Stone Tablets in total, and all of them are (probably) inside the ruins ahead. And after this conversation, “The Legend of the Ancient Dragon” will end.
In Search of Ancient Records

Talk to Alvwyn near the entrance. He will tell us how intricate the locks to these ancient ruins are. With no hints, we have to unlock the door. It’s missing two of its rotating switches. To find them, turn around and pick them up from the ground. However, only one of them matches the mural on the door’s wall. For the other stone, climb the broken pillar to the left of the descending path, and pick it up from there; don’t descend into the Hyena Den.

Place the stone on the platform, and then head into the ruins. As soon as you go inside, the door will close, and you will have to fight against 14 skeletons. Defeat them and then pick up the first Stone Fragment. With this, the quest will end.
The Underground Raider

Leave the ruins and head towards the next destination. Before you can enter the cave, Alwvyn will mention how the ground is shaking. Suddenly, 18 worms will surround you. Defeat them, then wait for the giant worm to dig up from the ground. As soon as it comes up, start attacking it. After defeating all the worms, talk to Alvwyn, and the quest will end.
The Second Tablet Fragment

Now, head inside the cave and follow the objective marker to find the second ruins. However, its entrance is also blocked, and unlocking it is a bit different from the previous one, as there’s nothing here.

If you turn around, you will see two rotating switches across the gap. Go over there and use the switches to make the combined symbol. This lights up the first lantern at the ruin’s entrance. For the second puzzle, drop to the ground and find the other pillar with two switches. Unfortunately, the main symbol is buried deep into the water, making it pretty hard to make out. Use the image below to complete it.

Return to the ruins entrance to find the door open. Head inside and move towards the objective to find the next fragment. When you pick it up, this quest will end.
The Final Stone Tablet Fragment

For the final fragment, move forward from where you found the second fragment to exit the cave. Restore the Organa Statue to create a warp point, and then follow the objective’s marker.
However, the entrance to the final ruins is protected by a Lesser Dragon. So, drop down and defeat it. It has the attack patterns of all the previous dragons you’ve fought.
Once defeated, ascend the staircase to find the final stone tablet fragment. With this, Alvwyn can learn more about Atragon and tell us where to find it to help us take it head-on, and “The Final Stone Tablet Fragment” quest comes to an end.
Cannibalism

After Alvwyn fixes the Stone Tablet, everyone waits for him to decipher it. After a few minutes, he comes to us and tells us that he couldn’t really decipher the writing on the stone tablet, but he learned something: All dragon hearts possess the same energy as Dragon Bloodstone, the source of Dragon Dust.
When a dragon dies, the energy disperses into the atmosphere. However, Atragon ate dragons just to absorb that energy. Additionally, Atragon wasn’t alone. It had an ally named Bernu, who looked more like a human but had the powers of a dragon.

Since Alvwyn has to decipher the remaining text, the party decides to leave. Kalien tells us about a crystal in the mountains, and we (reluctantly) decide to help her. Move towards the Windform Crossroads to find a giant crystal.
To help with the archeologist’s research, the party digs up the crystal and takes it with them. Now that the quest is complete, it’s time to report everything to Anne. And here, the “Cannibalism” quest ends.
A Major Quest

Return to the Orbis Kingdom and head to the Six Heroes statue. The party celebrates returning home, and after Alvwyn leaves, talk to Anne at the guild reception.
All the mercenaries around the reception seem rowdy. When the party asks Anne about it, she reveals that the castle has put up a quest for all mercenaries. Everyone can join, and they will be paid. Since the mercenary pay structure differs for all corps, Anne tells us that Amber Trading Company is funding this quest for the castle.

This is a major quest from the top. But what is it about? The subjugation of an Origin Dragon. However, many mercenaries are hesitant to accept this quest, as it comes with a price: their life. After talking to Anne, talk to other mercenaries to learn their opinion on this quest.
Roxy and Alex will come and accept this quest. As you talk with Roxy, Anne tells us that Lord Ewald has already enrolled the Johnny Mercenaries for the quest, as they have already defeated an Origin Dragon once. Everyone knows how much of a big mouth Johnny has, and hearing this, they all decide to join the quest as well; they belittle Johnny every time.
And here, this quest ends.
The Second Crisis

Go to a secluded spot, and the party will decide to visit Lady Lyn to learn more about this quest. Head to the Milan Main Hall and meet with Lyn. Ryza is already having a conversation with her, and after seeing our party, she decides to leave, as she has already negotiated her terms with Lyn.
After she leaves, the party talks to Lyn. She tells us Ryza will not be joining the subjugation because she already has numerous personal matters to attend to. Unfortunately, Lyn doesn’t have enough information about the Origin Dragon, as it’s moving with incredible speed, and her caravan can’t locate it properly.

However, she knows something crucial about this original dragon: It’s a dragon that eats others. Doesn’t that sound similar? Atragaon. Now, leave the Milan Main Hall, and as the party decides to find Alvwyn for more information, the quest ends.
