Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the dungeon Old Quarry in Doberkogel.

Day 19: Morning
You begin the morning by receiving an inviation from the Mayor. Head to Doberkogel to take on the Old Quarry.
Day 19: Noon
Make your way to the Old Quarry – near the Mountain Lake area, where the Jelly Tunnels are.

Dungeon: Old Quarry
After entering, extend the jelly bridge with Ball and Chain and head to the right. Deal with the monster ambush and head to the left. In the next area, there is a jelly block that needs to be pulled from the top. Look to your left and pull down the block on the other side and go through.

Pick up the loot on your left and head to the ramp up your right. On top is a chest with a MP potion, then head to the left of it. You should be back at the jelly block that needed to be pulled up, do so and jump over.

Climb up to the ledge and continue down this path. In the next room pull the jelly block on the wall, its around the corner. Fight off the monsters and the path forward should have opened up. Go through and head up the stairs to pull the jelly block on the wall. This should free up the other stone block.

Go back down and pull the block down, climb up on top of it and to the ledge on top. There is a chest here with Resonant Sword 7. Now stand back near the stairs and pull the stone block on top of the pressure plate. This should open up the path forward. Head straight from the pressure plate and you should be on the other side of the room. Keep going. In the next room, pull the jelly block on the wall and then pull the stone block on your right towards it so you can climb up.

Cross over to the other side of the metal structure and pick up the loot. There are two pull-able jelly blocks here, one on the floor and one on the wall. Pull the one on the wall first – this will create steps to climb up on.

Now you can climb up the blocks on your left. Climb the first block and pull the block on the floor now.

Stand on the second block and pull the block on the wall now. After you get up, go to the left and pull the block on the floor to open up the way to a chest containing the coin for this dungeon. Now go to the other side and place a bomb on the ramp and pull the block near the ramp. As the bomb shoots off to the other side, detonate it to clear the boulders.

Now, go up the stairs on to the platform over the ramp and pull the block on the far side towards you. Jump over to that block and you should be back on the metal structure. Get on the elevator and go up. You will see a pressure plate, there is a stationary conveyor belt on its left. Go left and jump off to the balcony below.

There is a ladder inside the room – climb up after collecting all the trash on the floor. Go right after you climb up. Now get on the platform with the switch and press it when the stone block stops right in front of the opening.

Pull it down – go to the switch on the other side of the conveyor belt behind you. Press it and pull the block on to the belt.

Follow the belt down back to the pressure plate and climb across the metal structure to the other side. The door on the far end should be open – so go through. Next, climb up the ladder and pull the block on the wall, on top of the pressure plate and take the elevator up. You will find 4 switches, the one at the back drops a block and the other 3 controls the belts.

Let’s label them 1, 2, 3, 4 from left to right. In order, press 3 once, 2 once and 1 once. Now press 4. Once the block crosses the belts controlled by 3 or this position in the picture below, press 3 twice.

Now take the elevator back down. Pull the block on top of the pressure plate and climb up to exit the area. Take the elevator up. Complete the final fight in the area and exit the dungeon.

Meet with the Mayor.
Day 19: Night
End the day by going to bed.
