Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the Overgrown Cave in Hinterwald.

Day 9: Morning
Speak to Julian. Head to Hinterwald.
Day 9: Noon
Head to the construction site for the Quest: A New Pathway.

Ride the zipline and you will find the dungeon, Overgrown Cave.
Dungeon: Overgrown Caves
Follow the path till you reach the bed of thorns. Summon a Whirlwind and cross over to the other side. Hit the target to rotate the bridge towards you and then get on. Hit the target again to rotate the bridge to find a chest with Resonant Sword 4 inside.

Rotate the bridge again and follow the path to a clearing. Kill the enemies here. Climb up the ledge on the right and follow the path and climb the ledges further ahead. Jump on to the elevator at the end of the path and head to a puzzle room. Pick up both the weighted blocks while standing on the platform on the left. Move the whirldwind up the ramp and on to the platform, causing it to drop down and the platform you are standing on to go up.

Open the chest for 5000 HBs. Now pick up the blocks again and drop it on the platform you just went down to ensure the crossing platform off the ramp doesn’t drop. Head up the ramp and across. In the next room pick up the four small weighted balls with Wind Projectile and shoot them on top of the platform – causing it to drop.

Head through the door you just opened. Kill the enemies in the next area and keep moving. In the next room, pick up the small balls and drop them on the platform on the left and drop the platform. Go through the door that just opened and pick up the loot. Get on top of the platform and move the balls out with the projectile on to the other platform and let the platform you are on rise. Go through the opening.

Drop down in the next area to pick up the Coin for Overgrown Cave and head back to the main path. In the next room, pick up the weighted blocks with Whirldwind and move them to the platform on the opposite side. Get up on the platform and move the blocks to the platform near the ramp to exit this room.

Kill the enemies in the next area and meet up with Alex. Exit the dungeon after.
Day 9: Evening
Speak to Alex and then head to the campfire.

Day 9: Night
End the night by going to bed.
