Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the dungeon Snowflake Slalom in Kolmstein
For more information on Dungeons of Hinterberg beyond this walkthrough, check out the official website.
Day 16: Morning
Start the morning by chasing the yellow hat wearing monster (Pitzl, I think) around the village. Head to Kolmstein after all the commotion dies down.
Day 16: Noon
Head towards the Chair Lifts and pick up the Sword Enchantment from under the station. Get up to the top using the Chair lifts. From the top, you can take the other chairlift down to the dungeon, Snowflake Slalom. But that won’t activate the dungeon, start the race to the right and finish it on time to enter the dungeon.
You can pick up the Quest: Like an Eagle from the helicopter pilot near the entrance of the region, but you either need 250 Renown or a sponsorship.

Dungeon: Snowflake Slalom
Upon entering the dungeon and heading in, you will find 4 eyes. Use Light Ray on each of them to raise the platform near the ramp. In the next room, complete the small course to activate the rail in the middle.

Grind up the ramp and clear out the monsters on the other side. Next, you should ski your way through. Turn on the right here, through the cave system to find 1000 HBs in a chest.

At the end of this cave is a boost ramp that you need to complete the next race and activate the rail. Grind the rail up to the floating snowflakes. There are three eyes on the sides of the snowflake island, on the rotating snowflakes. You need to hit all three eyes.

This will activate the next rail. Keep skiing through in the next area, but when the path veers off to the left, take the right to come to a clearing with a few monsters.

There is a chest with 10000 HBs when you kill all the monsters. Now go back to the main path and keep skiing till you reach this location. (Remember to pick up a Medium HP potion on your way here).

The giant door should open after killing all the enemies. The next area is quite open and has a number of rails. First go to the right towards the castle and kill the enemies there to activate the rail near it.

Grind up the rail and kill the boss up there to unlock the first of 3 locks of the giant door at the end of the area. Next, the two rails leading up the mountain. Hit all three eyes here with Light Ray to activate the rails. You have to be quite fast to hit all 3 so ski like your life depends on it.

Now, grind up the rails here and hold your Light Ray as you grind through hit all three targets. This should unlock the second lock. Next, go to the beginning of the race track on the left and finish the race.

Complete this race to unlock the third and final lock. Grind the next rail to exit the dungeon.
Day 16: Evening
Speak to Alex. Albert will show up and invite you to his museum opening. Upgrade your gear and choose who you want to spend the evening with. I chose to spend time with Julian to get better prices when selling, as upgrades are getting expensive now.
Day 16: Night
End the night by going to bed.
