Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the dungeon Snowy Summit in Kolmstein.

Day 21: Morning

Julian will come by to see you. Head to Kolmstein for the Snowy Summit.

Day 21: Noon

Head to EdelweiB Rast, then head south and you will find a tentacle bridge. Keep following the path to the cave and you will get to the dungeon.

Dungeon: Snowy Summit

After you enter the dungeon, go to the dead end and turn to the left and you will see a snowflake target. Hit that with Light Ray to lower the platforms.

Climb over and then hit the target again to raise the platform. Follow the path to the next snowflake target and hit it with Light Ray. This should open up the cave ahead, that you can rail grind to.

Once on the other side, hit the target again (twice) to move it back to the conduit closest to you. This will extend a bridge to cross over.

Once on the other side, hit it twice to activate the rail in front of you. Ride it to the next area. Go to the right from here. You will be ambushed, kill the monsters here and climb the far wall. Walk through the cave system and you will come across two rails, only one is active but if you hit the snowflake in the distance you can activate the other one. Get on the left one and then up to the final island on this side to find a snowflake target at the back. Hit it.

Now hit the snowflake target in the background to activate the rail back to the start. Once there hit it again to activate the right side rail and ride it to the island. The rail to leave should be active now, ride it out of the area. In the next area, push the ice block infront of the laser to block it.

In the next area, push the block around till it lodges in this rock formation –

Now push it to the far end to climb up. Now follow the path till you reach this rail.

Riding this down will eventually lead to two more rails.

Take the left one first. Pick up the loot and then come back here. Now take the right one up. Follow it through till you reach two more rails.

Take the left one again to find a chest with the coin for this dungeon. Go back and take the right one, which will lead you straight into a fight. Keep going to the next area. In this area head up to the left first, you will find a chest. Use your Light Ray to cut down an icicle from here.

Now drop down and go to the other side, to cut down the other icicle. Now, jump over your new platforms and follow the path to another fight. Kill all the monsters and move on. Eventually you will come to another rail, ride it up. In the next area, cut down the icicle to block the laser.

This will block the laser. Now, there is an ice block with a laser emitter on top located behind the two rocks at the back. It should be pretty simple to get it stuck on the icicle.

Next push the laser emitter ice block twice to get it here –

Now push the other iceblock to get stuck on the same rock formation and then push it towards the other laser on the end to create a block.

Now push the laser emitter iceblock here –

Now go on the other side it and push it to the corner –

Now push it to the two rocks we found it behind –

And now push it towards the laser at the far end to divert the beam. Finally push the other iceblock to the wall.

Now push it towards the rock formation ahead and then to the icicle. Next push it towards the climb-able area.

Climb up and in the next area pick up the light crystal from the first laser and place it in the second conduit to activate the rail. Ride it down and pick up the next crystal and set it next to the next laser but don’t place it inside.

Ride the rail next to it to the other side. Pick up the light crystal on the floor and place it in the conduit on top, not the one next to the crystal.

This will extend a bridge. Now take the light crystal on this side and walk to the first laser conduit on this side (back across the bridge) and place it.

This will activate the rail on the far side. Ride it out of this area.

In the next area, walk through the laser field. Pretty simple timing. Pretty much a straight path out of the dungeon from here, couple of fights and then you can exit the dungeon.
