Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the dungeon Tatzelwurm’s Lair in Doberkogel.

Day 15: Morning
Head to Doberkogel for the dungeon, Tatzelwurm’s Lair.
Day 15: Noon
Make your way up the mountain to the location in the map below to get to Tatzelwurm’s Lair.

Dungeon: Tatzelwurm’s Lair
After you enter the dungeon, use Wrecking Ball to clear the path, then do the same again on the boulders on the floor. Drop down and blow up the obstacle behind the fence.

You will find a Resonant Sword 5 here, in a chest. Climb out and blow up the obstacle near the pipes on the right. Drop down and then pull the drawbridge down with your Ball and Chain spell. Cross over and blow up the next obstacle. Go through the narrow corridor and come out to the next area.
Boss: Tatzelwurm
Phase 1: Armor
The trick is simple. Use Ball and Chain when he opens his mouth and retract to pull him down. Once he is down drop a Wrecking Ball on his head and explode. Otherwise just manage the adds to replenish your MP.


Phase 2: Naked
Once his armor is gone, he will do two attacks – a dash and a dive. He will dash at you and dive under the ground and come up at telegraphed locations. Just avoid his attacks and whale on him. Also you can pull him down by using Ball & Chain when he opens his mouth to dash at you.

Once he is done, go to the room at end of the path and pick up the Coin for this dungeon and random loot on the floor. Now head up the ladder in the other room and pick up the Attack Conduit from the chest on top. Stamp your book and you are done with this dungeon.
Day 15: Evening
After selling my trash and upgrading my gear, I met up with Hennig. But I spent the evening with Renaud to get the Combo Counter.

Go to bed to end the day.
