Welcome to our walkthrough of the Redwick House area in Flesh Made Fear. This is the last area of the game, and while it may not have many puzzles, it ties everything together that has been happening in the game. There’s a massive boss fight here that can be extremely challenging if you’re not well prepared. For more information on the game, check out their official Steam page here.

The Redwick House
After you’ve inserted the Runic key in the tram, it will take you straight to Redwick House, the final area of the game. Exit the tram and go towards the tunnel. Here, you’ll find a plushie. After picking it up, go towards the tram and enter the house.
As soon as you enter the house, you’ll notice stairs leading up with lots of blood on the front wall. You can go towards the left side of the stairs on the ground floor to access your storage and save your game. On the left side, you’ll find a statue and a locked gate.
The game tells you that you’ll have to place something on the statue to unlock the gate.

Lower Half Of The Control Mask
There are two gates here on the first floor that you can reach after going through the main stairs. If you enter from the first gate, you’ll encounter another gate inside. This one is locked, and if you’ve found a key for it, you’ll be able to access it.
Furthermore, you have to walk inside the room, and you’ll encounter a nimble crawling zombie. You have to be careful about spending your bullets here because the final boss will require all these resources.
There’s a riddle on the wall, corresponding to the puzzle in the other room. You’ll find the lower half of the Control Mask on a desk here.

Upper Half Of The Control Mask
As you head into the other room on the first floor, you’ll find several zombies here. Get rid of them quickly. Now, there are four statues, and you’ll have to go to your storage to get the kerosene lighter.
You have to light the statues in this order to unlock the upper half of the mask: Maiden Statue, Pregnant Figure, Hooded Figure, Skeletal Crone Statue.
After you’ve lit the candles in order, the upper half of the Control Mask will become unlocked. Once you’ve got both halves, you can combine them in your inventory.

Ripper’s Nightmare
After getting the Mask of Control, head to the right side of the stairs on the ground floor, where you have to put the mask on the statue to unlock the gate.
There’s a storage box to your left, and a body to your right. The body drops Parafin Wax. If you go through the door, you’ll have to fight against the final boss, so you have to be wary before making progress.

As you walk in, there’s a short cutscene where Ripper will reveal to you that he plans to unleash whatever he has done in Rotwood on the whole world. After that, he unleashes his Nightmare, a winged creature for you to fight against.
Ripper than runs away. You have to fight against this monster, and make sure you have bullets and Health items available.

Defeating Ripper’s Nightmare
It’s best to have a few bullets of shotgun in your inventory, as well as the grenade launcher bullets. Unleash the grenade launcher as the Nightmade tries to approach you.

There are several bullets on your left side, as well as a blood bag. On your right, you’ll find several crafting materials. If you run out of bullets during the battle, you can head over there and grab some.
Shooting the Nightmare with a shotgun or grenade launcher will stun it for a short while, allowing you to deal some damage to it.
After you’ve defeated the boss, you have to chase Ripper. There’s an opening leading to the roof on the top-right side of the area.

Ripper’s Demise
Your character catches Ripper trying to run away in the Sheriff’s helicopter. They will shoot Ripper as he continues to talk about his ambitions and whatever.
If you’ve saved any of your squad members, they’ll join you here. The game will end as your character flies the helicopter, escaping Rotwood for good.
For the true ending, you’ll have to save the entire R.I.P. squad, but if you fail to save any members, you’ll get a bad ending.
