Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild walkthrough.

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for The Scholar Who Loved a Witch episode of Galvatein: Adventurers’ Guild. Galvatein is an amazing visual novel experience where your choices determine the type of ending that you’ll get in every one of the episodes. The gameplay really makes you feel like a detective and a cook at the same time. For more information, you can visit the game’s official Steam page here.

If you missed out on the previous walkthroughs, you can find them in the walkthrough hub here.

Day 1 Reception Work

You’ll have to verify various quests submitted by different adventurers during the day as the guild receptionist. In the third episode, you’ll have to deal with six different adventurers, and the game also introduces the new gathering quests in this section.

Kesley’s Quest

For Kelsey’s quest, switch to the gathering section of the guild encyclopedia and click on healing. According to the quest, the master has run down with a burning fever. Kesley has the right treatment in her loot, which can heal the master, as is said in the healing encyclopedia, so you can approve this quest.

Felix’s Quest

The quest mentions that the character who is ill is from the dwarven realm. According to the healing encyclopedia, the medicine that Felix has brought does treat the symptoms of the lord of the dwarven realm. But it has severe side effects on dwarves, so you’ll have to reject this quest.

Selpha’s Quest

Switch back to the monsters section of the encyclopedia for Selpha’s quest and head into the North Slope region. The monster that you’re looking for is Flamnir. The loot that Selpha has brought back matches the encyclopedia and the details of the quest. Additionally, Selpha’s license is valid, and the quest has not expired yet. You can approve this quest.

Rina’s Quest

Head back to the gathering section of the encyclopedia and click on healing. As detailed in the quest, the people need a medicine to heal infected wounds. Rina has brought the wrong medicine in her loot, according to the encyclopedia, because it only seals wounds and does not cure the infection. You can reject this quest on the basis of wrong loot.

Veitz’s Quest

Veitz’s quest also requires you to use the Healing section of the gathering encyclopedia. The client requests an item that can cause skin lightening. Veitz has brought the correct medicine for that according to the encyclopedia, so you can go ahead and approve this quest.

Chewie’s Quest

Switch to the monster section of the encyclopedia again. Click on the Elven Forest region to find your required monster. The monster that you’re looking for is the Bicorn, and the loot that Chewie has brought back checks out.

The information in the encyclopedia confirms the authenticity of this quest, and there is no discrepancy in Chewie’s license or the quest’s time limit. Simply approve this quest and finish your first day.

Night 1 Cooking

The night shift has arrived, and the gameplay has switched from checking the validity of quests to making dishes for your adventurers.

Romenio’s Order

For this order, firstly click on the loot merchant and purchase some ingredients. Get the poisonous giant mushrooms, jellyfish flower, and the starlight salt.

Next, use the mushrooms as your main ingredient, followed by jellyfish flower as your first sub-ingredient. Add the flame seed to your recipe and finish up with the starlight salt to create the grilled troll mushrooms. Serve this dish to Romenio.

If your Kaul does not have four slots for the recipe. Simply go to the ‘other’ section in your storage and feed it the items there to unlock the fourth slot. This is the only dish that you need to cook on your first night.

Day 2 Reception Work

This is the second day of your third episode, and the number of adventurers that you’re going to meet is also going to increase. You’ll have to analyze ten different quests and either accept or reject them.

Dorothea’s Quest

Her quest can be analyzed in the gathering section of the guild encyclopedia under healing. Click on the Dragon Nectar and, according to the encyclopedia, the medicine is suitable for the patient mentioned in the quest. Dorothea’s loot has the same medicine, so you should approve this quest.

Selpha’s Quest

Go back to the monsters section in the encyclopedia and select the North Slope region. The monster that you’ll want to research is the Werewolf. Selpha’s loot matches the description in the encyclopedia, and her license is also intact. You can approve this quest as well.

Veitz’s Quest

You can easily complete this section by rejecting the quest entirely because Veitz’s guild license has expired. Use that as a reason for rejecting the mission entirely and move on to the next adventurer.

Rina’s Quest

Click on the New Azella region in the monsters section of the encyclopedia. The monster that you’re looking for is the Bloody Bat. Rina’s loot also perfectly matches the loot shown in the encyclopedia. Her license is also valid, and the quest has not expired yet either. You can approve this quest.

Felix’s Quest

This is another quest that you can directly reject because the time limit has already expired and no reward shall be granted. Just reject the quest on the basis of the quest’s deadline and move on to the next client.

Margaret’s Quest

It is a gathering quest, so make your way to the healing section of the encyclopedia. Click on the Puppy Bloom and read its description. It stops bleeding, which is exactly what the client in the quest is asking for. Margaret has this item in her loot, so you can approve her quest.

Kesley’s Quest

Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild walkthrough.

This is another gathering quest; click on the Sylvania Branch, which can be found on the second page of the healing section. The medicine is supposed to heal itching, but the patients are beastfolk. This branch can have a severe side effect on them, and Kesley has brought it in her loot as a solution. You need to reject this quest because the loot is wrong.

Zeronos’s Quest

Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild walkthrough.

Switch to the monsters section of the encyclopedia and select the Kingdom of Galvatein. Here, click on Spectra, which is the monster that you need to analyze. It turns out that the loot Zeronos has brought back is exactly what the encyclopedia mentions. Additionally, her license is intact, and so is the time limit of the quest. You can approve this quest and progress.

Galen’s Quest

Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild walkthrough.

Another gathering quest that takes you to the healing section. Select the Moonhalo Flower once again and analyze it. Your client actually needs a painkiller, and the Moonhalo Flower is just perfect for that. Galen has it stocked in his loot, and his license is also valid. The quest has not expired yet either, so you can approve it as well.

Olivia’s Quest

Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild walkthrough.

You can quickly complete this section by rejecting the quest because the time limit has run out, and that too for a long time now. This quest is a year old and needs to be rejected on the basis of its expiry date.

Night 2 Section

Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild walkthrough.

This is a particularly unique night section in the game because Romenio’s character arc changes based on your choices here. If you play your cards right, you can influence Romenio’s behavior to change drastically or remain the same.

It just depends on which side of the scale you empower first. If the darker side wins, then Romenio leaves the adventurer’s guild, but he stays if the opposite light side outweighs it first.

This also concludes our guide on the walkthrough of the third episode of Galvatein: Adventurers’ Guild, also known as The Scholar Who Loved a Witch.
