The Brotherhood’s Plan
After you’ve talked to Gomez and become a Shadow, you’ll have to talk to Raven. Raven will ask you to go to the Swamp Camp and find Caine, who is a Spy for the Old Camp.
According to Raven, you’ll have to acquire more information about what Y’Berion is up to, but Caine hasn’t been reporting lately.

Then, you’ll have to head to the Swamp Camp and talk to Cor Kalom. It will turn out that Caine has been missing and they’re looking for him as well.
When you exit Kalom’s laboratory, you’ll have to talk to the Templar. He’ll reveal that you should check around Caine’s hut, which is near the weed mashers.

Go to the area where you find the people mashing on weed with their feet. There are some huts nearby. You’ll also find a novice smoking something there. Talk to him, and he’ll reveal that Caine’s hut is just behind him.
Enter the hut, and you’ll find the drawing of the Abandoned Mine. If you leave the hut, you’ll find Nyras sitting nearby. Talk to him about the drawing and he’ll ask you to talk to Lester as he might know more about it.

The Lost Apprentice
You can find Lester near the entrance to the Swamp Camp. He’ll tell you that the mine is the one near the Extraction Zone, where you were dropped inside the barrier for the first time. He also advises you to take some ore for whoever is guarding it now.
Make your way to the abandoned mine. You’ll find Orry standing guard here. He might ask you for some Ore Nuggets, but if you tell him you’re on official business, he’ll give you the key without trouble.

Abandoned Mine
Keep going inside the mine. You’ll have to crouch to get deeper. Don’t forget to bring some torches or the Light spell.
Shortly after, you’ll arrive in the area that’s full of water. If you go underwater, you’ll find a winch on the pile of blue Ore Nuggets; it’s hard to miss. Pick up the winch and go to the other side of the wooden platforms.

You’ll have to place the detached winch on the mechanism, and you’ll be able to pull the giant iron door up.

Dive into the water and go through the newly opened path. From here, you’ll have to proceed ahead. If you can’t find a way forward, try diving deep into the water, as you might find a way there.
You’ll eventually reach an area with several Molerats and a Molerat Mother. Defeat them all. Keep going ahead. You’ll have to dive into the water again shortly after.

The water will eventually lead you to a temple. Here, you’ll find an Undead Orc and Caine’s body. Defeat the Undead Orc.

You’ll find a strange amulet on the Undead Orc, which is going to come in handy later on. After inspecting Caine’s body, you’ll have to make your way back to Cor Kalom.

Meeting With Y’Berion
Cor Kalom asks you to go and talk to Y’Berion in the Temple. If you ask for a reward from Cor Kalom, you might get some nuggets.
Head to the Temple. You’ll find Baar Lukor guarding the way to Y’Berion’s chamber. Talk to him, and he’ll let you go inside.

When you talk to Y’Berion, he’ll tell you about the focus stones, and he thinks that the strange amulet you found on the orc is the key.
Y’Berion tells you about a great awakening ritual, and for that, he’ll need the focus stone. He asks you to find Nyras near the camp gate and go to the site of the focus stone with him.

You’ll find Nyras near the entrance to the Swamp Camp. Talk to him, and he’ll lead you to the site of the Focus Stone.

He’ll lead you to the Focus Stone. There will be a cutscene where the hero disables the barrier, but gets knocked away, and Nyras picks up the Focus Stone.

You’ll then have to fight against Nyras. Defeat him and take the stone from him. After that, you’ll have to return to Y’Berion to give him the Focus Stone.

The Almanac
Y’Berion asks you to get a book that the Fire Mages keep in the Old Camp. According to him, he sent Talas, another man from the Brotherhood, to get the book, but he has yet to return.
Now, you’ll have to return to the Old Camp. You’ll find Talas standing outside the castle walls, blocked by Thorus.

You have to get inside and talk to Milten. Milten will tell you that he lost the Almanac somewhere near a cave. You’ll then have to go and talk to Talas again. He’ll be willing to lead you to the site.
When you get there, Talas will stand back, and you’ll have to go in by yourself. Enter the cave. However, you’ll have to be wary because there are many Black Goblins in the area.

Don’t forget to bring some torches or the Light scrolls, as the cave is extremely dark. You’ll find the Almanac in the deepest part of the cave.
You’ll find a room filled with treasure. The Almanac will be inside the chest.

Return outside and talk to Talas. He’ll be willing to come with you back to the Swamp Camp. Follow him, and you’ll reach the camp.
Once you reach the camp, Talas will ask you to put in a good word for him in front of Y’Berion, and not to tell him about how he lazed around in the Old Camp.

Talk to Y’Berion. He’ll allow you to choose your reward between scrolls, nuggets, and potions. After that, he’ll ask you to go and talk to Cor Kalom in the Laboratory.
When you get to Cor Kalom, he isn’t pleased, but he still tells you about what you have to do. He’ll ask you to head to the Old Mine and find the Minecrawler’s nest there. You can also get some potions, Light scrolls, and some Ore Nuggets to help with the preparations.

The Minecrawlers’ Nest
Before you can head to the Old Mine, you’ll have to convince Cor Angar. You can find him in the sparring area in the Swamp Camp. He’ll ask you to fight against one of the Templars, and if you can defeat them, he’ll be willing to accept your help and let you help the Templars in the Old Mine.

Next, you have to head to the Old Mine. You’d already have a map for it from Diego’s quest during Chapter 1. When you get to the old mine, you have to keep going down.
After you reach Ian, you’ll find Gor Na Bar shortly ahead. There’s a small cave here, and it’s full of Minecrawlers. You can lure them out and have Gor Na Bar fight them. Once they’re defeated, you can harvest the mandibles of the minecrawlers.

After that, keep going downwards. You’ll eventually find Gor Na Kosh and Gor Na Vid sitting near the cauldron. However, you have to look for Lester. There’s an opening nearby, just ahead of the smelter, that leads you to Lester.
When you get there, you’ll find that the tunnel ahead is blocked. Lester has an idea, but you’ll have to take Ian’s permission first.

Lester asks you to round up all three of the Templars and send them to the tunnel entrance. You can find Gor Na Vid and Gor Na Kosh at the cauldron. One of the templars here will ask for a smoke roll, and if you have the daily rations from the Swamp Camp, you can give one to him, and he’ll agree to help.
Gor Na Bar is a few levels above. When you get to him, he’ll ask you to bring some Minecrawler mandibles. You can just hand him over the few that you harvested earlier, and he’ll be willing to help as well.

Talk to Ian then, and he’ll tell you that if you can find the cog, he’ll think about giving you permission.

Cog In The Wheel
From Ian’s location, go downward in the old mine. You’ll come across a path with a guard. Go past the guard, and you’ll find two long ladders leading downwards.

In the deepest part of this area, you’ll find many minecrawlers. Defeat them all. The cog is on the ground here.

Return to Ian and give him the cog. He’ll give you 25 Ore Nuggets. However, he refuses to help you do anything about the collapsed tunnel.

Friends
As Lester asked you to meet on the surface after talking to Ian, you’ll have to head outside the Old Mine. You’ll find Lester at the entrance to the area.
He’ll ask you to come along with him. He’ll then lead you to a nearby location where you’ll find Diego, Gorn, and Milten. It turns out Lester is also one of them.

Milten will give you some explosives, while Diego will come with you to convince Ian. Follow Diego, and you’ll find Ian outside of the Old Mine.
Ian will finally give you permission to do whatever you want with the tunnel. Now, you’ll have to go back down in the Old Mine and reach the blocked tunnel. Talk to Asghan and place the explosives there, and a cutscene will begin, which will show the explosives working as intended.

Minecrawler Queen
As soon as the tunnel is opened up, some minecrawlers will start to come out. The Templars will help you get rid of them. Keep going ahead, and there will be some more minecrawlers, but you’re on your own here.
If you go deeper into the tunnel, you’ll find the Minecrawler Queen. She’s blocking the path ahead. She’ll also spit projectiles at you, and getting close to her can be challenging. She’ll also summon smaller minecrawlers to deal damage to you.

An easy way to deal with the Minecrawler queen is to use the Firebolt Rune from a distance. Make sure you’ve got some smoke rolls or Mistcap mushrooms to replenish your Mana.
In the first phase, you have to bring the queen’s HP to half. If you do that, the queen will disappear, and the path ahead will open.

Go on the path that has just opened after you brought down the queen’s HP to half. This will lead you to a much larger arena.
Here, you’ll have to fight the minecrawler queen for real. She only has half of her HP. You can escape to the small tunnel and use spells from there.

Once you’ve defeated the Minecrawler queen, you’ll be able to loot her eggs from her body. Now, you have to return to Cor Kalom and give him the eggs.

The Grand Awakening Ritual
When you finally arrive to deliver the eggs to Cor Kalom, you’ll also find Y’Berion in the laboratory. He’ll then ask you to return at night to the Temple to witness the ritual. You can also talk to Kor Calom about the other mandibles you have, and he’ll give you some useful mana potions for them.
Now, find a bed to rest till it’s night. Head to the temple and you’ll find the ritual ongoing. This will trigger a cutscene where you and the rest of the brotherhood will witness a vision, but something goes wrong.

Baal Lukor runs away, claiming that he had witnessed the Sleeper. Now, head inside the temple and talk to Cor Angar. It will be revealed that Y’Berion is dead.
Cor Angar believes Baal Lukor is headed to the Orc Graveyard, and he asks you to talk to Talas in the Temple grounds.

You can find Talas sitting in the tent in the temple grounds. He’ll take you to the bridge near the Orc Graveyard. There are some challenging enemies ahead, so it’s best to upgrade your stats, weapons, and armor.
When you get there, you’ll find a skull-shaped cave, but it’s locked. There are two circular targets connected to giant stone slabs. You’ll have to hit them with a projectile or arrow.

Orc Graveyard
As you enter the area, you’ll find some Orc Scouts. Keep going deeper into the tunnels. You’ll then arrive in the main hall. There are some chambers here with orc bodies. You can loot them for some items and amulets.
One of the chambers here has a small opening. You can get inside of it by using crouch. This will lead you to a lever. Pull the lever to unlock the path ahead.

There are some more Orc Scouts ahead, but keep going. You’ll eventually find Baal Lukor. He’d be willing to work with you. Lukor thinks that the Sleeper is behind the door, but it’s locked. There are multiple paths in this room that you can take.

There’s a path to the right of the locked gate. This will lead you to the body of a Templar. You can find half of a key here.

Return to the main area with the locked gate, and take the path that leads downward. Here, you’ll find three more paths.
One of the paths will lead you to a broken orc lever. Once you’ve taken that, go to the other path. You’ll find a broken switch here. Put the lever in the switch and rotate it.

There’s a body here where you’ll find the other half of the key. Take both of the pieces and come back to the locked gate. Here, you’ll have to talk to Baal Lukor, and he’ll unlock the gate with the two pieces.

There will be some more enemies ahead. Defeat them all. You have to go to the upper floor in this area. You’ll find another locked gate here, but Lukor thinks he can open it. He’ll be able to use the focus stone to unlock the gate.

Look around the area, as you might find many chests here. Go and talk to Lukor once you’re ready. You’ll find many murals here that depict the Sleeper as a demon that the orc shamans summoned to wipe out humanity. This doesn’t sit well with Baal Lukor, and he turns on you.

You’ll then have to defeat Baal Lukor. Take the focus stone from his body once you’re done with him, and use it to open the gate. Now, you’ll have to return to Cor Angar in the Swamp Camp.

Tough Decisions
When you return to Cor Angar and tell him about the murals, he’ll reveal that Y’Berion said the same thing before death, which implies that the Sleeper isn’t what the Brotherhood thinks it is.
On the other hand, Cor Kalom refuses to believe any of it and doesn’t budge from his faith. He leaves Cor Angar. Cor Angar will give you a rune stone that will allow you to teleport to the Swamp Camp immediately.

This will also kick off the third chapter. You can also return to the Old Camp now, and Thorus will make you into a Warden.
