Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Growbot! At all times, it is recommended that you explore the space station for yourself, talk to everyone you can, and use all the items you can on everything else. There’s no way to lose or die in this game! If you do get stuck, though – consult this guide, where we’ve laid down the steps for how to proceed with the story.

Living Quarters – Brainapilla & Flower Arranger
First, we should activate the Holo-Prism we just received, using a light pollen.
For the light pollen, return to your room to the left of the kitchen. Open your wardrobe (to the right of the bed), and interact with each of the three light sprites inside.
If you look near the open book lying on the floor, you’ll find a pair of eyes staring out of a dark crack. Use each of your three light sprites with this crack. This reveals another light sprite, who will provide you with a light pollen.
Use the light pollen with the Holo-Prism to create Holo-Tech. You can now interact with many of the ‘paintings’ if they have turned into pictures of flowers. Note that your Holo-Prism needs to be active, i.e. green, on the left side of your interface.
Return to the elevator and call up Wee Ted again. It seems you need a Brainapilla as well in order to get to the garden. So head to the right from here, to get to the Captain’s Study.
The Brainapilla we need is located on the topmost shelf to the left. You can’t use it yet, though, as it’s hibernating.
Pick up the golden music box key on the middle shelf, and then use it on the music box on the lowermost shelf. You’ll notice the Brainapilla has woken up now, so interact with it to get it in your head.
Return to the elevator and call up Wee Ted, who just isn’t done gatekeeping you. This time, you need a Flower Arranger.
Pick up the golden pyramid frame to the next of the music box on the lowermost shelf. This is the Flower Arranger, though you’re going to need Charged Gemitters to make any use of it.
Thankfully, Charged Gemitters aren’t located very far away: just look to the right of the screen and interact with the glowy gems in the upper-right of the screen.
Finally, combine the Gemitters with the Flower Arranger in your inventory. You should do the Tutorial here to learn how it works.
Before you can go to the Garden, however, you need at least one flower in your Flower Arranger to proceed (Wee Ted will confirm this for you).
