Growbot Walkthrough – Living Quarters Part 3 (Daisy Sound and Shield)

Stuck in Growbot? This walkthrough will take you through freeing the Geologist and acquiring the first flower sound for your Flower Arranger.

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Growbot! At all times, it is recommended that you explore the space station for yourself, talk to everyone you can, and use all the items you can on everything else. There’s no way to lose or die in this game! If you do get stuck, though – consult this guide, where we’ve laid down the steps for how to proceed with the story.

Living Quarters – Daisy Sound and Shield

We only need a flower in the Flower Arranger now, but first, let’s free the little black being trapped in the blue crystal near the elevator.

Go to the Elevator area and use your Brainapilla on the dark blue crystal near the elevator.

You will learn that the creature is a Geologist, and you will also learn how to free them.

Head back to the Captain’s Study and pick up the Pale Blue Heart on the middle shelf to the left, next to where the music box key was.

Use the Pale Blue Heart on the Seed Box, which is on the middle shelf to the right of the screen.

Pick up the Crystal Fire from the Seed Box and return to the elevator area.

Use the Crystal Fire on the crystal, and pick up the seed the Geologist offers you. Talk to the Geologist and ask it what to do with the seed.

Now go to the Captain’s Study and put the seed in the Seed Box. Interact with the Daisy to get its sound.

This is automatically recorded in your Flower Arranger, but put it aside for now as we don’t need it just yet.

Return the elevator and call up Wee Ted yet again.

You’re finally cleared to go! Interact with the open elevator portal… to get stopped by a shield.

Interact with the shield to hear its sound and bring up the Flower Arranger. Now, you need to recreate the sound you hear on the shield.

This one’s really easy as you only have one flower to deal with. So drag the Daisy sound to each of the slots numbered 1-6 and hit Create.

Once you have your Shield Key, drag it onto the Shield blocking your way.

You can now enter the Garden!
