Halloween: The Game Walkthrough – Chapter Two: Main Street

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough of Chapter Two, Main Street, in Halloween: The Game.

Halloween: The Game features both single-player and multiplayer modes. In the single-player mode, you play as Michael Myers, with the objective of hunting down and eliminating his targets. The game is based on the original 1978 film Halloween, directed by John Carpenter. For more information, check out the game’s Steam page.

Chapter Two Challenges

As usual, there are going to be six challenges, and completing all of them in a single run can be really challenging. That said, you can definitely complete some of them in a single run. The first challenge tasks you with executing Tanya using the cash register.

The second challenge tasks you with killing Rachel using an environmental kill. In the third challenge, you have to grab and execute Slab while he is peeing. This is perhaps the most difficult challenge of all. What you need to do is wait for the friends to split up in the cemetery.

Then, cross the cemetery to the right and wait for Slab to walk down the path. He will then stop at a tree opposite a farther lamp and start peeing. This is when you have to stalk him and then approach him. Once he starts peeing, you have to grab and execute him while he is still in the animation. Make sure not to grab him before he starts peeing.

To complete the fourth challenge, you have to execute Eric using the shelf in the hardware store stockroom.

The fifth challenge tasks you with killing all three of Rachel’s friends. This challenge can be a little difficult to complete, but a bit of exploration can help you find her friends. Just make sure to follow where the friends go before taking down Rachel. The last challenge will be completed if you do not alert anyone and complete the chapter. It will require a lot of stealth but is totally doable.

Halloween: The Game – Main Street Walkthrough

As you start the Main Street chapter in Halloween: The Game, you will get the first objective by approaching the back door. So, simply head towards the back door, and as you do, you will be introduced to a new mechanic.

Phase Through the Door in Phase Jump

So, now that the door is locked, you can phase through it in the Phase Jump mode. Press Q and then simply go through the door. Do note that you can do this with doors that do not have a light on them. If there is a light, you will not be able to phase through.

Once you are inside, you will get a new objective.

Find the Mask

The mask is right ahead on the left side of the shop, so head towards the mask and interact with it. As you do, a cutscene will commence, and Michael will wear the mask and pick up a weapon. When the cutscene is over, you will get the next objective.

Full Stalk and Kill Eric

Now, you will also be introduced to a new feature, Killer Sense. This allows you to enter a better stalking mode and has three levels. The third level allows you to fully stalk the victim, which gives you a much better chance at executing them.

Now, do note that fully stalking Eric is completely optional, so you do not have to do that. You can simply go ahead and kill Eric. That said, doing the full stalking is going to be much better, and you will also get the hang of this new mechanic.

You simply have to press R and then stalk him for a while. Now, do note that if he runs away after you are done stalking, he will hide in the dumpster outside. So, you can search it and then take him down. If not, you can just approach him from behind and take him down normally.

Now, do note that there is a challenge of executing Eric using the shelf in the hardware store.

Pick Up and Hide Eric’s Body

Now that you have killed Eric, pick up his body and hide it inside the dumpster. As you do it, a cutscene will commence.

Find and Kill Two Nearby Special Targets

Now, you have to find and kill the special targets, and two of them are going to be nearby. You have a minimap, and you will be able to find some areas to enter. Now, some of the NPCs may escape, but you have to try your best to prevent that from happening.

To prevent it from happening, what you need to do is simple. Make sure to stalk the victim for longer and reach at least two levels. That is because some of the executions require you to have two or three levels in the stalk. So, it will not hurt to stalk them for longer in Killer Sense.

Enter the A-Side Music Store

The A-Side Music Store is going to be near, so head to the left side after the cutscene is over. We are talking about the cutscene that commences after you have hidden Eric’s body. As you head left, a cutscene will commence. When that happens, you will get the objective of killing Tanya.

Note: It seems like the special targets can notify the cops, and when they do, a timer will start. There are also three signs on the cops indicator, and if that is full, a lot of cops will come into this area. You can cut the connection of the telephone, but finding that can be a drag. So, simply be stealthy and do not give the targets a chance to call the cops.

Kill Tanya

Now, Tanya is inside the A-Side Music Store, so what you need to do is stalk her and reach just level two. Then, smash her head into the cash register, and you will have completed one of the challenges. Once you have done that, head to the building opposite the A-Side Music Store.

Inside, you will see a person playing snooker. That person is not going to be a special target, but still take them out and then head out. You now have to find the Graveyard. So, facing away from the A-Side Music Store, head left and continue going. Eventually, on the right side, you will find the entrance to the graveyard. Go near the entrance, and a cutscene will commence.

When the cutscene is over, you will get the next objective.

Kill Rachel

Now, we recommend completing the stalk to level three, as you have to do an environmental kill on Rachel to complete the challenge. That can be done by executing her in the graveyard. So, what you have to do is follow her, as she will not go with her friends.

Keep stalking her without being discovered, and it is going to be pretty easy. Wait for her to lie back on the stone wall ahead and then stalk her. We managed to reach level three with ease there, so do the same. When she comes back into the graveyard, head from the left side behind her.

Now, make sure not to alert her. Go behind her and then grab her. Once you have done that, take her close to the nearest execution place and then take her down. We took her down using the stone smash, and the challenge was completed.

Hide Rachel’s Body

Now, as you have taken down Rachel, you have to simply hide her body. The dumpster will be marked, so simply take the body there and put it inside. Once you have done so, you will get a new objective.

Approach Your Sister’s Gravestone

Now, you simply have to approach the marked gravestone, and once you do, a cutscene will commence. With that, Chapter Two, Main Street, in Halloween: The Game will be over.
