Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough of Chapters Four and Five, The Babysitters & Into The Shadows, in Halloween: The Game.
Halloween: The Game features a story mode as well as a multiplayer mode. In this game, you can either play as Michael Myers or one of the Heroes. However, do note that the story mode is limited to Michael Myers only. For more information, check out the game’s Steam page.

Chapter Four Challenges
There are going to be six challenges, and the first one tasks you with strangling Annie in the car. The second challenge tasks you with pinning Bob to the wall in the kitchen. To complete the third challenge, you have to take down Lynda with the telephone while wearing the Sheet.
The fourth challenge tasks you with killing a resident with a Bloodthirsty execution. For that, you will need to have the Bloodthirsty meter at tier three and then perform an execution on them. In the fifth challenge, you have to fully stalk Bob and Lynda while they make out in the living room.
To complete the last challenge, you have to complete the chapter matching the film’s plot. This one is a drag, as you have to recreate the events that happened in the 1978 John Carpenter movie. So, if you want to skip it, that’s completely fine.
That said, if you do want to complete the last challenge, here is what you need to do: Go to the Wallace House, strangle Annie in the car, stalk Bob and Lynda, and then kill them in the correct order, with Bob first and Lynda second.
Make sure you perform the correct executions for both of them, as explained in the respective challenges. After that, stage the bodies in the bedroom and let Laurie discover them. Fully stalk Laurie, then let the game progress and complete the chapter.
Halloween: The Game – Chapter Four: The Babysitters Walkthrough
As you start Chapter Four: The Babysitters in Halloween: The Game, a cutscene will commence, and following that, the first objective will appear. You will basically have two objectives. You can either explore the area, or you can simply head to the main objective.
Go To The Wallace House
So, your objective is to go to the Wallace House, and do note that a new ability will also be revealed. You simply have to go close to the house, and as you do, a cutscene will commence. Once the cutscene is over, you will get two objectives, one of which is going to be totally optional.
Kill Annie
It is better to kill the dog first, as if it spots you, Annie can be notified, and she will run away. So, take down the dog first and then stalk Annie. Once you are done with the stalking, grab Annie and take her down. When done, hide her body upstairs, and then a cutscene will commence.
We are not sure for now how the challenge can be completed, because taking her to the car in the garage doesn’t really do anything.
Note: We have figured out how to kill Annie in the car. What you have to do is not kill her immediately. Simply follow her routine and then wait for her to return to her car. She will cross the street with a child, and when that happens, wait for her to get back and hide inside the car before she sees you. Then, she will enter the car, and once she has done that, the option to strangle her will appear.
Kill Bob And Lynda
Now you have to take down both Bob and Lynda, and they will be in the living room. So, stalk them and make sure you reach level three to complete a challenge. Then you have to take them down one by one. Now, what you need to do first is execute Bob to recreate the scene from the movie. Pin his body to the kitchen wall, but make sure to do this only after Lynda has gone upstairs.
Note
If you can’t stalk Bob or Lynda normally, what you need to do is hide in the closet in the living room. This will give you a proper angle for stalking them and reaching Tier 3. You can do this before they head into the living room, or you can do it afterward by using the Shape Jump ability. It shouldn’t be too hard, so give it a try.
Once you have done that, the Sheet will become available in the bedroom. After taking down Bob, go to the bedroom, take the Sheet, and then execute Lynda with the telephone wire while wearing the Sheet.
However, if you do not want to recreate the scenes from the movie, you can simply take them down in any order you want. If you take one of them down immediately, the other will run to the house north of the Wallace House. You can then go there, terrify them, make them run back to the other house, and perform the executions mentioned in the challenges.
Once you are done with that, you have to take both of the bodies upstairs to the bedroom, one by one. Then a cutscene will commence, and you will get another objective.
Fully Stalk Laurie
The main objective is going to be fully stalking Laurie, and there is going to be one optional one, which states to let Laurie see the killer’s art. Now, do note that Laurie will be coming in from the back door of the house. Now, what we did was hide inside the cabinet in the living room and wait for Laurie to come in there.
Then, we stalked her to reach level three, and once you have done that too, the next objective will appear. Even if you fail to stalk her and she is notified, the next objective will still appear.
Kill Laurie Before She Can Call For Help
Now, do note that you can kill Laurie. She has got unlimited health, and you can’t even grab her. So, what you need to do is chase her and drive her out of her hiding spots. Continue attacking her, and eventually a cutscene will begin.
Then the same bald person you saw in the prologue will appear to save Laurie. Michael will then be shot by the bald man, and the chapter will shortly be over. With that, the walkthrough of Chapter Four, The Babysitters, comes to an end.
Chapter Five Challenges
The first challenge in the last chapter in Halloween: The Game is to disable two cop flashlights at once using the Blackout ability. The second challenge tasks you with killing a cop using a Pitchfork execution. In the third challenge, you have to take down at least three residents before escaping.
Then, the fourth challenge tasks you with fully stalking any police in Wallace’s House. The fifth challenge tasks you with escaping without Loomis detecting you, and the last challenge is about destroying any police car before you escape.

Now, do note that as Michael was shot, he will have lost a lot of his power. You cannot use the Shape Jump ability. However, if you reach level three Bloodthirst, you will be able to use that ability again. Another thing to note is that there are quite a lot of cops around, so you will have to be very careful.
The more cops that are near you, the more likely you are to get detained. Once the cop disappears, you will get your first objectives.
Find A Way To Escape Haddonfield
You are still in Haddonfield, so you have to escape from here. Do note that there is an additional optional objective of reaching Bloodthirst level three, which we recommend completing. You will also get a new ability, Blackout.
So, go ahead just a little, and you will see a person on the north side. Fully stalk him, and do note that before heading straight to him, there is going to be a police officer on the left side. Now, you can fully stalk him, or you can straight up grab him and take him down with an execution.
There is also going to be another officer on the left side, so you should be able to do a full stalk on either of them. Once you have taken them out, on the left side there is a dumpster. You can hide one of the bodies there.
Then, as we went to take down the deputy on the north side, a pop-up appeared telling us that a Sewer Escape had been identified. So, you can escape from there, but it is better to complete some of the challenges before you do so.
Exploring The Area
Do note that there are several police officers around, and a cop car is also checking the area, so be cautious. Also note that the red circle on the map is Loomis, so you need to be careful not to get in his line of sight. That’s because it is one of the challenges of not getting detected by him.
So, head to the left side and then go north, and after that, head right. There will be two officers on the right side, so you need to approach them from behind. Now, do note that one of them does come to the other side, so be careful.
On the left side of the area, there are going to be two more officers, so don’t go there for now. Head behind the police and use the Blackout ability to turn off both of their torches and then take them down. This will also complete a challenge.
If neither of them has flashlights or if you were interrupted by the officers on the left side, don’t worry. In the same alley, on the left side, there are more officers with flashlights. So, you can complete the challenge there.
Completing The Challenges
At first, we could not find the pitchfork, but now we have finally found it. The pitchfork can be found pretty close to where you spawn. What you have to do is head north just a little, and once you are out of the bushes, head right. Just head right a little, and the pitchfork will be on the right side.
It will be outside the first house you see on the right. There will also be a car parked there, and the pitchfork will be on the left side of the car when you are facing it. That said, the rest of the challenges are pretty simple. You simply have to be really careful.
Now, regarding destroying the police car, we have found the solution. You simply have to hit the car with a few melee attacks, and it will start smoking. Once that happens, you are good to escape, and as you escape, the pop-up of the challenge being completed will appear.
Other than that, you can take down some residents; for that, you have to do some exploration. Right next to the restrooms are some houses, and if you explore them, you will be able to complete this challenge.
Escape Through The Sewer
Once you are done, you simply have to head to the Sewer and then open the entrance. For some reason, after escaping, we had to start the chapter again, and even at the main menu, no progress was recorded.
Also, do note that you can discover an alternate escape route. Now, instead of going to the north, if you head left, you will discover the train tracks escape route.
Escape Over The Tracks
The train is going to be on the northeast side of the area. Head there, and you will see a pop-up telling you that the train arrives in a few seconds. You have to head near the red signals before the time runs out to be able to successfully escape the area.
Even after escaping from here, it takes you back to the beginning of the chapter. That seems intended, but on the main menu it doesn’t show any progress. That could be a bug, but that’s pretty much it for the walkthrough of Chapter Five, Into The Shadows, in Halloween: The Game.
