Head To The Rhea Pharma Tower

You need to make your way to the Rhea Pharma Tower to catch Nipulon before he reaches the hearing. Upon landing just outside the tower, you must find a way inside.

There is no security and no guards in sight, which feels suspicious. That does not matter, as you are here to put an end to this. Once you enter the tower, you will hear Nipulon speaking.

Of course, he was expecting you and now announces to everyone that your bounty will be doubled. He has pinned your location and sent numerous bounty hunters after you.

You have already defeated many bounty hunters, so now there are just a few more that need to be eliminated. Defeat all the enemies here and enter the elevator.

Reach The Top Floor

You need to reach the top floor to Nipulon’s office. As you take the elevator up, you will notice it stops at the fifth floor because you do not have the keycard to access the top floor.

Exit the elevator and progress through the fifth floor. There is only one straightforward path, but there are also a lot of bounty hunters to defeat, so keep eliminating every person that stands in your way.

At the end of this floor, you will find a scientist wearing a white lab coat. He is the one holding the keycard you need. Eliminate him and take the keycard from his body.

With this keycard, return to the elevator and use it to reach the top floor. Once again, you will hear Nipulon speaking over the radio, and this time he is fed up with you.

He removes the cap on your bounty and instructs anyone to kill you, promising to grant them whatever they desire.

Once again, you will be attacked by all types of bounty hunters and monsters, and you need to survive. Take it slow and keep moving to avoid being overwhelmed.

After defeating every single enemy in this room, enter the golden door on the upper level. Inside, you will find Nipulon’s secretary, who informs you that Nipulon has already left for the big court hearing.

Gene’s Backup Plan

Gene seems to have a backup plan, but he was hesitant to execute it. However, this is the only way to reach Nipulon. You will see a large building crashing in front of you.

This is the Bounty Hunter Museum, if you remember from the very beginning of the game. It is actually very clever, because the Bounty 5000 can create portals to any available bounty.

Gene has already hacked into the system and added Nipulon as a bounty to reach the big court quickly. When you accept the bounty, the portal will open, so go through it.

This will take you to the Supreme Court, where the Legalization of Humans hearing is taking place, and you need to prevent it.

Disclaimer

During the court hearing, the judge will evaluate you based on the choices you made throughout your playthrough. You will also have opportunities to object, call certain witnesses, and attempt to defend your decisions.

We are pointing this out because the game features multiple endings, all determined by how you played and which dialogue options you selected during the hearing.

Therefore, the section below reflects the outcome we received based on the choices we made in our own playthrough.

Prevent The Legalization Of Humans

Inside the court, you will find the Bucko twin on the defense side, and he is asking you to join him. The judge clearly wants to side with Nipulon, but you are dragging it out and forcing him to conduct a full, proper hearing.

The hearing operates on a point system. Nipulon will present his case, and you will present yours, with the judge awarding points based on how convincing each argument is.

Throughout the process, both sides will call witnesses to the stand, who can either support your case or undermine it, so you need to choose carefully.

Object!!!

Nipulon begins by explaining why he wants to turn humans into pills, claiming that the human brain is as small as animals’ and that it will not have significant effects.

  • The first choice we made in response to this statement is: He’s lying.

Nipulon further explains that they only want to farm humans ethically and properly, not through some random process.

Again, he insists the process is legitimate and that the pharma is doing this to help others. It is your turn to object to this statement.

  • The second choice we picked is: This human is a hero.

Our Gatlian began to praise how we helped humanity before by taking down the G3 cartel and saving the human race. We did all of that because it was worth it, and humans are not just useless beings meant to be turned into pills.

As you remind the court that Nipulon was actually the head leader of the G3 cartel, Nipulon seems to take it calmly, saying that all of that is in the past.

For some reason, the judge is still leaning toward Nipulon and reminds everyone that we are the most wanted bounty in the galaxy, which seems to indicate the judge does not even know it is us.

Things are getting more complicated, especially when nothing seems to be in your favor.

  • The third choice we chose to defend ourselves is: Kind of.

We did not want to outright deny the allegations in front of the court, but at the same time, we wanted to explain our case. “Kind of” seemed like the logical response, but once again, Nipulon strikes back.

Defend Yourself

He begins presenting proof of all the bounty targets you have killed: Larry Pinckstock, Muppy Doo, James Stevenson, Bronkin Bucko, and Professor Berkel.

The odds are all against you now, but this will not stop us. Nipulon seems skilled with words, but we are not backing down.

We stab the Bucko so he can object and buy us time to convince the judge. He suggests bringing witnesses to prove that our case should not be dismissed so readily.

Of course, Nipulon requests to bring witnesses of his own, turning this into a full witness hearing, and you need to be careful with what you say here.

First Witness: The Old Security Guard From Circuit Arcadia Zoo

Nipulon will call his first witness: the security guard from Circuit Arcadia Zoo, the one in the purple uniform. The moment we saw him, we knew we were in trouble, because we had taken him out at the very start of the game.

Now Nipulon will twist the witness’s words to make things look far worse than they really were. There is really nothing we can say to defend ourselves, since the game knows we tried to take him down.

The judge awards Nipulon two points, which you can see on the screen above. Guest shows our points, and Home shows Nipulon’s points.

Second Witness: Tiffany, The New Leader Of Button’s Gluttons

The first witness we brought is Tiffany, the same woman we fought multiple times during our playthrough. You would think this seems like a bad decision, but it actually works in our favor.

Of course, Nipulon starts manipulating things again, bringing up that we killed her lover, Kreg. Even though she acknowledges it, she still sides with humans, which surprises us.

Nipulon objects and tries to bring up the sea creature Gessie. This is where we can turn things to our side, because everyone loves Gessie.

  • The objection: Gessie died because of Kreg!

We went with that dialogue choice, and now Travis speaks up. Travis was actually there, so he is not just a witness; he is an eyewitness, if that makes sense. He explains that it was just a crossfire, so it is not entirely our fault.

Despite the fact that we killed Kreg and much of her bounty hunting gang, Tiffany still sides with humans, comparing them to animals, and she loves them enough to defend them.

It all sounds good to the judge, so he decides to award you a point.

Third Witness: Mr. Keeps And Mr. Jorb

Just as Nipulon is about to call a witness, Bucko asks to bring in another one: Mr. Keeps. Somehow the judge allows it, but only if Nipulon also calls Jorb.

The judge randomly awards you 50 points because Mr. Keeps is polite, but Mr. Jorb starts acting bratty and cursing, which gives Nipulon 50 points.

Bucko asks Mr. Keeps if humans are valued customers, and he agrees so strongly that he even admits they are dumb and will buy whatever they want at any price.

Nipulon, of course, twists this, claiming humans are irresponsible and cannot handle their own well-being. This is where you need to object.

  • The objection: Humans keep businesses afloat.

Mr. Keeps and Mr. Jorb have already admitted that humans let businesses survive, so humans naturally keep the economy running and are the backbone of the resale market.

Suit-O elaborates on this point, and the judge seems convinced. He then proceeds to award us two points.

Fourth Witness: Mom And Dad, The Outlaw’s Parents

Our next witnesses are our parents, mom and dad, which somehow the court allows. Your dad starts by objecting, as he does not approve of his ex-wife’s new husband.

This gives Nipulon the perfect opportunity to start shaming humans, claiming their lives are pathetic and it would be better to put them out of their misery and make them useful.

By taking any human emotional state and turning them into pills, he argues it would fuel the happiest days of life and make everyone happy.

  • The objection: My husband was like him once.

We, of course, object to this, drawing from personal experience with Travis and Jan. We pick Jan’s option, showing how Travis faced the same situation, overcame it, and found a new purpose in life.

This philosophical point from Travis seems to impress your dad, and after that, Jan and Travis start making out. The judge then awards you two more points.

Fifth Witness: Ted, Best Friend Of The Outlaw’s Father

To launch a counterattack, Nipulon brings in someone close to your father. Remember Ted? He died, but now he appears on the stand as a ghost, somehow.

Nipulon reminds the court of your time at Birch Springs and what happened there. He manipulates the story, claiming humans killed Ted and that the outlaw, which means we, witnessed it all.

He keeps insisting we killed everyone there, painting us as mass murderers who slaughter every human we encounter, which is not entirely true.

  • The objection: The humans turned into monsters!

This is the real story: Birch Springs was actually a wanted cult, and the humans there had all turned into monsters. So are they technically still human? No.

This argument convinces not only the court but even us, and as a result, we earn two more points.

Sixth Witness: Award-winning Opera Superstar O.B Oberon

Nipulon still didn’t have enough evidence, even though we were clearly winning, but he decides to call O.B. Oberon for some reason. We had no idea where this would go.

O.B. Oberon has no clue what to say, so we give her the starting point, which works in our favor.

  • The objection: Tell them about your brother.

We want the court to know what happened between Oberon’s brother and Larry Pinkstock. She begins to share how she clawed her way up from nothing to seek revenge for her brother. Her quest against Larry Pinkstock was her way of pursuing justice.

Just as the judge starts to be convinced, Brutus shows up as another witness. It turns out the Brutus we fought at MurderCon is actually Oberon’s brother.

After the siblings catch up, the judge is emotionally moved and decides to award us one extra point.

Seventh Witness: Griffin P. Spencer, From The Human Exhibit

Next up is Griffin P. Spencer, the same guy we met at the Human Exhibit during the first hour of the game. Bucko asks him some questions, specifically if he can describe our interaction with him.

This depends on how you interacted with him when you first met him. We, of course, just petted him at the beginning of the game, so this is how it turned out for us. If you didn’t pet Griffin at all, your outcome might be different.

Nipulon remembers this and tries to use it against us, asking Griffin if it ruined his life.

  • The objection: What about the nice pets?

We remind Griffin about the nice pets we gave him, even if it was only for a few seconds, and he seems to appreciate it. Griffin asks the judge to award us two points, and the judge agrees.

Eighth Witness: Apples, From Prismeria

Nipulon calls his next witness: Apples, from the Prismeria universe. As soon as he steps onto the stand, everyone boos and even throws trash cans at him.

It seems nobody likes Apples, even in the real world. Nipulon asks if we were his best friend, and we admit we were, but also that we betrayed him at the town gate.

This is not looking good for us, so we have to object to being called his best friend, since we barely know the guy.

  • The objection: We’d be happy to kill Apples.

We figure the best way to prove we are not friends is to show we’re even willing to kill him. Apples brings up how we betrayed him in front of the townspeople, so we’re in a bit of a pickle.

Nipulon wins this one and earns an extra two points.

Final Witnesses: Gene Zaroothian And Bleeding Star Lizzie

Nipulon is not done yet and calls Gene and Lizzie as his final surprise witnesses. We have no idea how this is supposed to help his case, since these are literally our friends, but oh well, we’ll take it.

There is no objection in this section, but Nipulon brings up her background as the leader of the Bleeding Star and all the operations and violence they caused.

For some reason, he also asks why we didn’t just file a complaint at the local embassy like a “good, civilized alien.” This doesn’t work in the real world, and do you think it would work in the game? Absolutely not.

He then turns to Gene, mentioning how he has no legs now because of what he’s been through. Nipulon tries to get him to betray us by offering brand-new legs. Of course, Gene is not the backstabber Nipulon thinks he is, so this fails.

Somehow, the judge gives Nipulon three points, but it’s still not enough to beat our score.

Creature Speech

The judge has had enough, and just as he is about to make his ruling, Creature steps up and introduces himself as a scientist; a very famous one, in fact.

He reveals that he is a product of the G3 Cartel and that it was Nipulon who turned him into this. Of course, Nipulon denies the accusations, insisting he has reformed and is no longer evil.

Creature begins explaining that the human brain is far from tiny, and another witness, a Rhea Pharma scientist, backs him up with facts.

Both of them lay out the science showing that the human brain is neither tiny nor useless, as everyone had believed. It’s a full scientific explanation that we can’t cover in its entirety here, but you get the idea.

This earns us an additional three points, and there is no way Nipulon can win after this.

The Ruling

The score is clear and the ruling is obvious:

The Supreme Space Court has decided that humans are sentient beings and should NOT be turned into pills.

This drives Nupilon insane. He sheds his disguise, charges at you, and attacks.

Defeat Super Nipulon, Once And For All

By the way, you could have skipped the entire hearing and just shot Nipulon to trigger the boss fight, but that would have been boring and not interesting at all. So now, you have to face him properly.

The final boss in this game does not really feel like a traditional final boss, which sounds strange, but let me explain. You will spend the entire fight chasing Nipulon while skateboarding and platforming along what feels like a never-ending trail.

As you move, Nipulon keeps talking and delivering a dramatic speech that sounds like he has been rehearsing it since the first game, and all you really need to do is shoot him from a distance.

Every now and then, the platforming shifts and you will need to use a different gun ability to progress, and toward the end of each trail, he will grab you and shove a human pill into your mouth to keep you trapped inside this “high trail”.

It is not difficult, but it is pretty lengthy.

Mission Accomplished, The Whole Thing This Time

After you defeat Nipulon, you will reunite with Gene, Lizzie, your parents, and your half-brother, and finally get to enjoy the party you all wanted to have way earlier.

After the credits roll, you need to cross that final bounty off the board. After that, rest up and get ready to enjoy the party.
