Homura Hime Walkthrough Part Two: The Skeleton Girl

Homura Hime The Skeleton Girl

The Skeleton Girl is the first and proper mission assigned to Homura Hime, with Ann serving as her navigator throughout the chapter.

In this guide, you’ll find a detailed and section-by-section walkthrough of the first chapter, including numerous secrets that you can discover.

Adashino – Spiriting Away Border

Entering The Spiriting Away Border.

After crossing through the giant torii gate in Mahire Shrine, Ann leads you to a forest, which serves as a border for spirits. Descend the first set of stairs and cross the torii gates until you find three demons. When fighting them, mix your attacks to get a better combat score.

Ann will tell you about breakable boxes, which drop the game’s currency “Konpeito,” as well as healing pellets to regenerate Homura’s health. In the area with a puddle, collect Kushinada’s favorite snack Senbei, along with the item to complete her side quest, and the white flowers to help the Fading Soul at Mahire Shrine.

Surge Sigil.

Move forward to find a demon with a roughed-up doll. Confront it to commence the battle, and learn about unparryable attacks. Yellow and Red attacks are unparryable and parryable, respectively. An attempt to parry the yellow attacks will result in significant damage, so dodge them.

First Encounter of The Chapter.

Also, I would suggest you keep a distance from an enemy during a Yellow attack, as it can be either a melee or a bullet-hell attack.

Defeat the wave, then pick up the roughed-up doll and place it near a shrine. Before you can move forward, Ann suggests putting flowers near it as a gesture of sincerity.

Gather the flowers and move forward by using a grappling point called Surge Sigil to enter the next area.

Demonic Realm – Carcass Ravine

Entering Carcass Ravine.

According to Ann, while exorcists are immune to all supernatural powers, an Archdemon’s power is enough to break their immunity. Now, in the Demonic Realm, move forward and complete the platforming sections until you jump to the ground.

You will find a creature with no body and you will be tasked with a quest to track it down; it’s the creature Kushinada warned you about, as they look eerily similar.

Kushinada’s Head(?)

When the trial begins, follow the head through the realm and try not to fall, as it will force you to restart the quest. Don’t panic when looking at the time; patiently cross the platforming sections and capture the head for Kushinada.

You will be rewarded 3000 Konpeito for completing this quest.

Capturing Kushinada’s Head.

After capturing the head, turn right to find a Surge Sigil. Use it to reach a higher point and complete the next platforming section, then find a gate that leads back to the real world.

Before entering the gate, look to your right to find a red treasure box. Open it to find a Life Crystal; collect three of them to increase your maximum health.

Lastly, interact with the gate to return to the real world, where Kushinada awaits you and Ann at a Mansion. Return the head to her to receive your first skill: Phantom Blade.

Unknown – Spooky Mansion

Inside the Mansion.

To activate a skill, parry incoming enemy attacks to decrease the counter by five and hit them to decrease it by one. Follow the commands presented to use the skill and teleport instantly to the next enemy and deliver a devastating slash. Talk to Kushinada to purchase a combo or skill of your choice, and then move through the next hallway.

There, you will find a treasure demon that drops a ton of Konpeito. Defeat it, then move forward into the next room to find a Shikigami. This is a quick-time event minigame. Break the seal and follow the Shikigami to enter another arena.

The Quick-Time Event to Unlock The Shikigami.

Battle against the enemies and regularly use your skills to maintain an advantage against the demons. Defeat the small ones and wait for the enraged demon to arrive. Parry its attacks and wait for a time window to execute your combos.

Unlike others, these demons can expand their domains, where you must parry all their attacks successfully to start a Purifying Flourish.

Purifying Flourish.

Once in Purifying Flourish state, move your cursor along the red dots to execute it and end the battle. Later, follow the Shikigami to exit the mansion and return to Adashino.

Adashino – Giant Graveyard

Giant Graveyard Demon Encounter.

Now, in Adashino, move forward into the vast ground covered in purple fog to find a unique-looking demon holding the roughed-up doll. Before you can meet the demon, it runs away and spawns numerous smaller demons. Defeat them and continue moving toward the objective.

Just after a few steps, Kushinada will greet you. Use Konpeito to buy a combo of your choice and turn right near the waterfall to find a treasure box. Turn around and follow the path ahead to enter the next area and challenge the first main boss.

Adashino – Forbidden Grounds: The Skeleton Girl Boss Fight

Agasa.

Agasa, the Skeleton Girl, is the Archdemon behind the disappearance of people in Adashino, and now Homura faces her head-on. Most of her attacks can be nullified by parrying and dodging. Armed with the combos from Kushinada’s shop, execute them in the attack window to deal devastating damage.

Once she reaches half health, use Blessed Shots to break the Miasmic Shield and prepare for a wave of bullet-hell attacks. Keep dodging, attacking, and parrying to defeat her.

However, she doesn’t back down after the first phase and then calls out her two giant skeleton heads, Rina and Yuna.

Agasa Using Her Bullet-Hell Attack.

Agasa sits between Rina and Yuna, whose attack speeds vary and may require extreme precision to parry.

Attack Agasa to deal damage, and refrain from spending too much time in the middle, or you will face consequences within a wide radius. Keep your distance, wait for the attack, and maintain the momentum to finish the fight.

Rina and Yana.

Additionally, once you’re in their domain, jump and dodge above the bullets to avoid them completely. Parry the attacks and execute the final Purifying Flourish.

After beating Agasa, you will return to the Mahire Shrine, and Kushinada will take her soul from you. The first chapter ends here.

Defeating Asaga.

This concludes the guide for the first chapter of Homura Hime. Her adventure with Ann continues in the next chapter to counter further Archdemons.
