Hytale Part 6 Walkthrough

The previous chapter concludes with exploring the new cave and acquiring useful items like Copper Ore and Iron Ore. We interact with new creatures to unlock new memories in the game. The tree lighthouse provides us with natural resources like carrots and mushrooms from the chests. Now that we’re back at the base with the useful items, craft some new items.

Craft Items in the Base

Interact with the Chef’s Stove to cook the Bread using 1xDough and 3xFuel. I highly recommend you make a meat skewer at this cooking station. Consuming this food allows you to gain health and additional buffs. You need 1xStick and 4xRaw Meat to make this recipe. Raw Meat can be obtained by killing the deadly animals, such as the wolf or bear.

Place all the unnecessary items into the chest to free up some space in the inventory. Make sure to carry the useful items like weapons, tools, and food recipes while exploring the world. Interact with the tanning Rack to convert the Light Hide into the Light Leather. This leather is then used to craft high-level armor. Interact with the Armorer’s Workbench and craft a Copper Shield using 2xCopper Ingot, 1xTree Trunk, and 3xPlant Fiber.

Make sure you have a repair kit in your inventory to repair the weapons, tools, and armor. These items lose durability when you use them, making it crucial to repair them. Repairing too much is also not good because the item will break. Use 2xLinen Scraps, 1xIron Ingot, and 1xLight Leather to craft the Repair Kit in Hytale. The repaired items will lose up to 10% of their maximum durability.

Get Inside the Cave

Get out of the cabin and go to the left to get inside the cave. This area is filled with Iron and Copper Ores, so make sure you have the Pickaxe in your inventory. Mine the ores and collect them in your inventory. Keep descending the area and go deeper to uncover new secrets. Defeat all the enemies you encounter while traversing here.

Descend Into the Cave

Most of the Iron and Copper Ores are attached to the ceiling, so aim at them while holding the pickaxe and start mining them. You can use the Cobblestone to create a path in the cave, helping you reach the ceiling. Find a way to keep descending into the cave to find more resources. Make sure you’re holding a torch while exploring this cave.

I highly recommend placing the torches on the ground while you continue descending. This will make it easy to escape the cave without getting trapped. Most of the time, you need to break the blocks to make a path leading underground. The objective here is to collect more and more Iron and Copper Ores. Once you reach a far dead end, you will encounter Magma Rhino, Living Spark, and Goblin Scrapper. Make sure to use the right weapon to eliminate them in the first place.

This purple can use the tongue from a distance to attack and deal damage to you. Dodge and roll to get out of the way and use the charge attack of the mace to take them out. Use the bow to eliminate the enemy from a safe distance at a higher ground. Continue exploring the cave till you find a lava lake. There are deadly mobs around this lake, so use the right strategy to take them out effectively.

Use the food item from your hotbar to gain some health and additional buffs. The enemies can take much of your health here, so having the food items in the hotbar is compulsory. Use the Mace to eliminate the bigger enemies here. Use the charge attack to initiate the fight and then use light attacks to take them out. You can even use a sword with the shield here to have defense and offense.

Defeating the bigger enemies here allows you to gain Essence of Fire and Iron Ingot. Defeating the normal mobs here grants you Linen Scraps, which are a crucial item for Repair Kits. Breaking the blocks near the lava allows you to gain Volcanic Cobble. Consume the Cooked Wildmeat to gain health and buffs like physical resistance and projectile resistance.

You can also get your hands on the Green Crystal Shards from this lower level of the cave. Keep exploring the area and find the useful items to use them later at the base. Collect the Orange Glowing Mushroom from this cave on the lower floor. You can cook these mushrooms to consume to gain unique buffs.

Get Inside the Shelter

Once you acquire enough resources, make your way out of the cave. Continue moving towards the base and sleep on the bed. Defeat all the enemies you encounter on your way using the best weapon. Interact with new creatures to unlock new memories. You can find the horse while traversing.

Approach the horse from the back and press the ‘F’ key to mount it. Now, you can ride the horse to make the traversal quick and fast. Your stamina is also consumed while riding the horse, so make sure to keep checking it.

If you’re near the Forgotten Temple Gateway, get inside to enter the portal. You will find yourself in a Forgotten Temple in Edge of the Echo. Approach the altar and interact with it, record the memories. You can unlock new rewards like Decorative Chests, Eternal Seeds, Morph Potions, and more. The more memories you record at the altar, the more rewards you will unlock.

Once you record the memories, pass through the portal to move back to the old world. Be aware of the giant enemy after coming back. Use the Mace to eliminate this enemy with the charge attack. Keep moving towards your base to craft new items using the crafting bench.

Craft New Items

Once you get inside the shelter, interact with the Furnace to add Copper Ore into the input slot to start the smelting process. Keep in mind that the Oak Log can be used as a fuel to ignite the furnace. The Oak Log can be obtained by destroying the trees with the hatchet. The smelting process takes much time, so in the meantime, you can craft other items.

Place the extra items from your inventory at the chests in your base to free some space for new items. Use 6xCopper Ingot and 2xPlant Fiber to craft the Copper Helm at the Armorer’s Workbench. You can also craft the Thorium Helm at the Armorer’s Workbench, tier 2. This rare armor allows you to gain +6% projectile resistance, +15% poison resistance, and +6% physical resistance.

Use 6xIron Ingot, 5xTree Trunk, and 5xStone to craft the Salvager’s Workbench at the standard workbench. This workbench allows you to dismantle existing gear and crafted items and returns some of the raw materials that went into them. This is useful for freeing up inventory space, reclaiming materials from gear you’ve outgrown.

You can use it to correct mistakes without wasting resources. Put the salvageable item into the bench and get its parts back. Interact with it to open its interface. Put an item you want to recycle into the input slot. The bench will destroy the item and return the crafting materials.

Interact with the Chef’s Stove to craft a Vegetable Skewer using 1xStick and 4xVegetable (any). Before heading out, interact with the Workbench to craft a Crude Arrow using 4xStick and 1xRubble. The bow need arrow, so you need to have enough arrows in your inventory.

Find Boreal Reach

Make your way out of the shelter and go to the area near the red forest. Continue collecting the resources while traversing. You can dive into the water to find the fish. Approach them to unlock the ‘Rainbow Trout’ memory. If you ever encounter the bear, you don’t need to engage in a fight with this enemy. You can just move in the opposite direction to avoid it.

You can still defeat the bear using the bow while standing on the higher ground. Keep following the compass to reach the destination. The mobs in this area are difficult to eliminate because they can deal massive damage and can block your attacks. Use the best weapons to defeat them and consume the food if you’re low on health. Eventually, you will find yourself in front of Boreal Reach in Whisperfrost Frontiers.

Before getting to the castle, make sure you’re equipped with the best weapons and armor. You may encounter multiple mobs guarding this area. Use the mace to eliminate the enemies in close-range combat. Defeat the enemies standing on the higher ground using the bow. Once you defeat all the enemies, get inside the building and start looting everything.

You can also find the Dark Temple Brazier inside the box. Use the pickaxe to break the box and acquire this resource. If you die here while fighting the enemies, you will spawn at your set respawn point. All of your items will be lost, but you can collect them from the place where you die. You need to quickly get over there, or else the items will disappear. Loot all the chests from this castle to get your hands on useful resources.

Return To Base

It’s best to get to the higher ground and use the bow to eliminate the enemies. You may die several times while fighting them in close-range combat. Once you loot all the items from here, make your way out, and start exploring the area nearby. Keep moving towards your shelter to put all the loot in the chests before getting into any more trouble.

Once you get inside the base, interact with the Armorer’s Workbench to craft Copper Greaves using 9xCopper Ingot and 3xPlant Fiber. Crafting the Thorium Pickaxe requires 6xThorium Ingot, 2xMedium Leather, and 3xLinen Scraps. Interact with the Furnace to add Thorium Ore into the input slot to start the smelting process.

You need to craft the Farmer’s Workbench using the 6xTree Trunks and 20xPlant Fibers. This crafting station focused on farming and agricultural tasks. You can use it to make tools for growing crops, convert harvested materials into seeds, and handle other farm-related items.

Once done with that, move to the Forgotten Temple Gateway. Pass through the portal and interact with the altar in the middle of the area to submit the new memories you collect.

Once you provide the new memories, return to the old world, and move back to the base. That’s where the part 6 walkthrough in Hytale ends.
