I Am Jesus Christ is a religious video game where you play as Jesus Christ and get to relive his life. You’ll get to experience how Jesus performed his miracles and how he gathered a following in Jerusalem. For more information, you can visit the game’s official Steam page.
Our first walkthrough for I Am Jesus Christ covers more than half the story and makes it really easy for you to gather apostles in this game.

Revelation
This is the first quest in your journey in I Am Jesus Christ. After waking up, leave your house and take a right to find Joseph. Speak with Joseph, and he will instruct you to go meet Mary.
Mary’s location gets marked by an exclamation mark, which pops up on the screen. Follow this sign to reach a house, which you’ll need to enter to trigger a cutscene. Once you are done talking to Mary, your next objective will be to find Joachim.
Follow the quest sign on your screen to reach the marketplace. A cutscene plays, which tells you that something happened with Joachim. Once the cutscene ends, question the shopkeeper on the right side of Joachim’s stall to learn about his location.
After speaking with the shopkeeper, follow the exclamation mark to unlock divine vision, which is an important ability in this game. Turn on divine vision as soon as you get it to interact with the sign on the pillar and spot a trail. Follow this trail to reach Joachim’s location and speak with him.
Your next task in this mission is to warn Joachim’s friend. Start moving towards the quest marker, and you’ll arrive at a small farmhouse. You’ll see a herd of goats, and you’ll need to take the left from here. Enter the building on your right at the end to find Joachim’s friend. After speaking with Joachim, get on the cart that gets marked to complete Revelation.
John The Baptist
As soon as this new mission starts, run towards the objective marker to trigger a cutscene. A small puzzle section starts where you’ll have to rotate seven rings to bring them in a specific order.
- The first ring should correspond with light, and the second ring with water and sky.
- Match the third ring with land and vegetation, and the fourth ring with sun, moon, and stars.
- The fifth ring should match sea creatures and birds, and the sixth with land animals and humans.
- Lastly, rotate the seventh ring till it corresponds with rest.
After solving the puzzle, continue speaking with John to unlock your next objective marker. You’re actually leading John’s disciples, and once you reach the marked location, speak with Andrew, who’s the disciple in green and white garb.
A day passes by, and you’re required to speak with Andrew, John, and the merchant the next day. These three people are marked by the quest marker, so you can spot them easily. After speaking with everyone, run towards the next marker to find the holy spirit.
Prayer In The Wilderness
Follow the holy spirit, and whenever it disappears, you can spot its light on the screen. If you cannot spot it, then start running straight ahead, and you will find it. Follow the spirit into a lake to trigger another cutscene.
Once the cutscene ends, run towards the next quest marker to reach a cave. Inside the cave, you’ll come across the stranger, and speaking with him starts a mini-game.
You’ll have to guide the light along its path using your mouse or controller and press the prompts on the screen to speed up the light so that darkness does not catch it.
Once you complete the mini-game, follow the new marker to get out of the cave, which also triggers a new cutscene. This cutscene ends with another mini-game where you need to guide the light along a longer path.
Follow the new marker after completing this challenge to trigger the next cutscene. It is a straight path ahead with no diversions. Speak with Satan to start a combat section.
You can stun and drag demons in this game. Once you stun your enemies, drag them to the marked portal to completely repel them. Repel the demons in this section to progress.
Homecoming
This next mission begins by unlocking fast travel for players. Open the map and fast travel to Nazareth for your new objective. Nazareth can be found in the Galilee region. After arriving in this area, follow the exclamation mark to go and speak with Joseph. This completes the Homecoming mission, and it was a pretty short quest.
Wedding
Travel to Cana after speaking with Joseph. Follow the objective marker here to find and speak with Mary. Next, you’ll need to speak with the wine manager, and his location gets marked as well. After this conversation, travel to the next marked location to start meditating.
The next section involves another puzzle that requires putting specific objects in specific paintings.
- Grab the apple and put it in the woman’s hand in the first painting.
- Next, pick up the small dagger on the right side and place it in the hands of the old man in the second painting.
- For the third painting, pick up the rolling pin on the left side and give it to the man.
- Pick up the third last object on the right side and place it in the fourth painting.
- For your fifth painting, pick up the stick next to the spear and use it.
- You’ll need to use the stone tablets on the left side of the table in the sixth painting.
After completing this puzzle, go near the buckets of water on your left and equip the transformation miracle. Use this miracle to transform the water into wine. Next, speak with the wine manager and make him taste the wine.
Once the wine manager tastes the wine, you’ll need to speak with the groom of the wedding and Mary additionally. This completes the wedding mission in the game.
Apostles
A small mission begins next, named the apostles, which requires you to travel to Tiberias. Reach the marked location and open the apostles menu to accept a calling quest for Andrew. You’ll actually need to complete a series of quests for apostles in this section.
The Miraculous Catch of Fish
Follow the new objective marker to reach Andrew’s location and talk to him. After speaking with the people here, equip the transformation miracle and interact with the boat to begin the fishing mini-game.
This is a pretty simple quest. Just guide the fish to the boat three times by moving the divine light. However, stay clear of the small whirlpools in the middle, and you’re good to go. After completing this objective, open the apostles menu and accept the Jame and John quest.
Gathering Apostles
After accepting the quest, move to the objective and speak with the group of people at that location. A group of apostles will start following you, and two objective markers will appear on your screen. Travel to the blue marker and interact with the boat to reach Capernaum.
A House In Need
The first thing that you’re supposed to do in Capernaum is to travel to Peter’s house, which is marked on your screen. Go to the objective marker and speak with Peter to progress. After the conversation, follow Peter to his home and talk to his wife. Follow Peter’s wife to begin another puzzle section in the game.
For this puzzle, you have to interact with images in a certain order. Start with the left side, and the order of images here is two, five, one, four, and three, with one being the image on the left.
On the right side, the order of images is three, one, five, four, and two, with one being the image on the left-most side again.
Exit through the portal and equip your newly learned healing miracle to heal Peter’s mother–in–law. You’ll need to guide the light through another while using the prompts in between to increase the light’s speed. After you’re done, go and speak with Peter.
Cleansing The Temple
Follow the new quest marker and meet up with your apostles. After speaking with them, start traveling towards Jerusalem, and its location will also be marked on your screen. Keep following the objective marker to reach the courtyard of a temple where a new quest begins.
You’ll basically have to cleanse the temple, which requires you to overturn some tables, free some animals, and birds. Equip divine vision to spot the tables and the animals and go interact with them.
Once you cleanse the temple, go to the marked location of Pharisees and speak with them. After this conversation, exit the temple, open your apostles menu, and accept the calling quest for Judas.
The Man From Kerioth
Once you accept the calling quest of Judas, go and speak with him. As soon as this conversation ends, you’ll be instructed to find Judas’s hideout, and the location gets marked on your screen, which you can follow easily.
Jump on top of the cart near the marker to reach the exact location of the hideout. Speak with Judas again at this hideout and rest after the conversation ends.
Once you wake up from your rest, wait for Nikodemus to arrive at the hideout and speak with him. Rest again until the morning after this conversation ends. The game asks you to complete the remaining calling quests to gather the rest of your apostles.
Zeal Without A Sword
We’ll firstly cover Simon’s calling quest, and you should go accept it from the apostles menu. You’ll need to find another hideout, but this time, it’s in Tiberias, so fast travel to that city.
Once you arrive in Tiberias, travel towards the objective marker and enter the building at the end to meet Simon and speak with him. You will need to heal the tax collector after this conversation, and he can be found right next to Simon.
Equip your healing miracle and interact with the tax collector to begin the process. Interact with the wounds on his head, chest, arm, and hand to heal them. Speak with Simon once more to complete this calling quest.
Under The Fig Tree
The next calling quest that you should accept from the apostles menu is Philip’s calling quest. Open your map and fast travel to Chorazin to get near the new objective marker. If this location is not unlocked for fast travel, then simply start running towards the location.
Once you arrive at the location, speak with Philip. As you’re done speaking with Philip, Bartholomew will approach you, and you’ll need to speak to him next. This completes the calling quest for Philip.
Two Carpenters
It’s time to accept the calling quest for James, son of Alphaeus. Fast travel back to Nazareth to get near the new objective marker. Reach the building site and speak with the carpenters there.
The carpenters want you to finish building the house. Interact with the building next to the carpenters and just point at the structures on your screen to finish building the house. Speak with the carpenters after the construction work, and you will complete this calling quest as well.
Follow Me
Now it is time to accept Matthew’s calling quest from the apostles menu. Move toward the object marker in Capernaum. Speak with the soldier and Matthew here to complete this short calling quest in the game.
Proof And Heart
The final calling quest that you need to complete is for Thomas. Accept this quest from the apostles menu and either fast travel to Nain or run towards the objective marker. Speak with Thomas here and then follow him outside.
Outside, you’ll need to speak with the widow and Thomas. Additionally, the widow’s location shows up on screen too. This leads to another puzzle section, where you’ll learn another miracle.
In this puzzle section, you’ll need to throw specific cubes into the wall.
- For the first wall, pick up and throw the cube in the middle.
- Next, throw the cube on the left at the wall.
- For the third wall, throw the cube on the right side.
- Pick up and throw the cube in the middle at the fourth wall.
- You’ll need to throw the cube on the left at the fifth wall.
- Lastly, pick up and throw the cube on the right at the final wall.
Exit through the portal next, and now you’ll have learned the resurrection miracle. Equip this miracle and perform a resurrection on the widow’s son. Guide the light through a path again and press the prompts on the screen to speed up against the darkness and complete the mini-game that pops up.
After performing resurrection, speak with Thomas and answer three of his riddles to make him join you.
- The answer to the first riddle is the dialogue option at the top.
- For the second riddle, choose the dialogue option in the middle.
- Lastly, choose the dialogue option at the bottom for the last riddle.
Choosing the correct options completes the calling quest for Thomas.
Completing The Twelve
Fast travel back to Capernaum and follow the objective marker to find and speak with Peter. Next, move to the updated objective marker where a cutscene starts playing. After the cutscene ends, go and speak with your apostles by following the next quest marker.
At the end of the conversation, select all of the dialogue options one by one. Once you exhaust all of the dialogues, follow the marker again and take a rest.
