Day 2 in inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories starts with notes from the Day Shift. A mysterious man comes by the store and Makoto runs into an old friend.

24^th August, 1993

As the shift starts, check the sticky notes with tasks from the day shift workers.

Checking the notes will tell you Toshinori found Aunt Hina’s ring and has it in his pocket. Misaki left a note about calling Aunt Hina. The final note says they ordered too much ice cream and had to stash it in every freezer they could find. Check the delivery box near the corrugated gate. There is a sidequest here “Soy Sauce for Mr. Takahashi”

Go to the floor and check the Cooking Essentials Shelf to find the Kikko-Nyan Soy Sauce (Garlic Flavoured) bottles.

There are only 9 of them here. Put these 9 in the box and check the fridge memo.

Okada’s number for the repairs is here: 148-411. Open the back door and check the bowl.

Go back on the store floor and you will find more soya sauce in a box near the freezer.

Put 3 of the correct ones in the delivery box to complete the order. Stock the rest on the display. Check the sales display next for stocking it up.

You will find the Zen Leaf Match on the top shelf of the first storage shelf. The Harajaku Soda is on the right side shelf. Pick both items up and stoch the sales shelf. Next pick up the French Croissant from the shelf at the back and place it on the Baked Goods Display.

Restock the Soft Drink Refrigerator and open the store. The Mystery man that walks in wont really talk to you. Let him in and soon he will need some help. But he wont be very forthcoming with answers.

So asking him the questions will lead you to understand 3 things: Seafood-based, expensive, ready-cooked meal. Pick up the Tempura Bento worth 450Y from the bottom shelf and give it to the man.

The next item he wants is a household item that’s intended for dental or facial hygiene. Give him the Lunarient Cleansing Gel.

When he gets to the counter, check him out. You can recommend products on sale if you want. Otherwise just check him out. You have some time to spend, so first call Aunt Hina. Tell her about the strange man, her lost ring and the pet bowl outside. Once that’s done, you can tell her about Chief Matsuda. Once the phone call is over go out to the floor and you will meet Satoshi. You will notice that are some Joy Boy Mini icecreams in the Beverage Refrigerator. Move them to the ice cream display. Next go to the Industrial Freezer and remove the Dental Deluxe Kits from there and store them somewhere else. Stock the extra icecream in there to prevent them from melting. Go help Satoshi now. He will want a product called Pyanse. Go to the backroom and call Aunt HIna. Ask her what Pyanse is. It’s Korean Steamed Pie. Go tell Satoshi about them and how they sell out really fast. He will tehen talk about complementary goods, by telling you to place rice with canned food. Check Satoshi out next. Makoto will ask Satoshi about why he is saving up money. He wants to play the gacha machine, he will tell Makoto. Go outside with Satoshi to play the gacha game. You will win a random prize. Watch the cutscene to end the night.
