Day 4 in inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories starts with a leaky ceiling, malfunctioning front door, stock shortage and a fridge on the fritz. The Mysterious Man shows up, as do Naomi and Satoshi.

August 26^th, 1993

This shift starts with the front door not opening, the ceiling leaking and new price barcodes on all products. Check the noticeboard to see that new manga has arrived. Also, Charlie wants you to mop the floor.

Check the work desk for new promotional material, which you need to set up somewhere visible. You also need to stock the yellow fridge with the green/orange soda.

Additionally, check the box on the floor to find a box where you need to store Kikko-nyan products.

Pick up the promotional material from the work desk and place it where you like.

You will hear a knock on the back door of the store, so go and check who it is.

It will be Naomi, the reporter. She will go off to check what she needs. When she’s gone, check the storage shelves for the items you need to move to the sales area.

Stock the Canned Goods shelf and the Sweets and Snacks display with these items.

Once the shelves are stocked, speak to Naomi. She wants Kinbo Puff Insecticide. If you read Charlie’s notepad on the customer desk, you will see that the store is out of Kinbo Puff, so go to the phone and order some.

You can also order the new stuff if you want. Futhermore, you can call 444-112 for another spooky story.

Go tell Naomi that the insecticides are out. Next clean up the puddle near the manga rack.

Go to the back, pick up the manga from the shelves and stock the manga racks.

Talk to Naomi again. Once that conversation is done, go to the back and pick up the Autumn No. 5 drink from the shelves and bring it to the front, then stock it in the Soda Fridge where its marked by the sign “New”.

Next, pick up the Kikko Nyan Soy Sauces (4 Regular and 4 Garlic) from the Cooking Essentials Shelf. Put them in the delivery box.

If Naomi is ready, check her out. Ask her about Satoshi before she leaves.

Next, pick up the Kikko Nyan Tofu x10 from the Ready Meals Display. Note that there are 5 more in the Beverage display.

These go in the delivery box too. When the delivery comes, accept it.

Next, go get the Kikko-nyan Salty Edamame from the Hanging Snacks Display. Put it in the delivery box to complete the task.

Unload the boxes on the shelves either in storage or the store floor. If the puddle has formed on the floor again, clean it up.

Pretty soon, the Mysterious Man will be back. Talk to the man and ask him questions about his drink of choice. Play out he sequence when the power goes off. He wants a drink that’s isn’t fruity and is alcoholic. Give him the Island Country Beer.

Try the gacha machine, and you can always find 25 Y coins in your jacket. Anyway, once the Mysterious Man is done, check him out. If you now confront him about anything, the lights will go off and he will disappear.

You will notice right after that the Blue Fridge stopped working. Go to the store room and call the Appliance Repair number.

Once you have called for repairs, it will start to get light outside and you will see Satoshi show up. Speak to him, then move his poster to a better location inside the store. Speak to Satoshi to help him out. He wants a soft, easy-to-chew canned product. Give him the Red Lantern Adzuki.

Ask Satoshi about the fridge and then kick it.

When Satoshi is ready, check him out. Before Satoshi leaves, go out and play the gacha machine with him. Watch the cutscene play out and end the shift.
