inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories Walkthrough – Day 5

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories.

Day 5 in our walkthrough for inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories starts with finding Daico products for Mr Takahashi’s order, restocking the Kikko Nyan products. Naomi stops by as does the Mystery man whose identity is finally revealed. Satoshi and the Chief come by as morning rolls around.

August 27^th, 1993

Start the shift by going to the storage room and check out the note on the shelf.

Restack the Kikko Nyan products. The Soy Sauces go in the Cooking Essentials Shelf and the Tofu goes in the Ready Meals Display. The Salty Edamame goes to the Salty hanging Snacks.

Next, take the Miso Paste Yellow from the store room and stock the empty spaces in the Cooking Essentials Shelf.

Next stock up the Noodles Display.

Read the Employee Notebook near the clothes rack, and also, check the delivery box for Mr. Takahashi’s Order.

Before we look for the cups, plates, and napkins, open the store for business.

Next stock up the Special Offers area with the items in the notepad.

While doing this go help Naomi out with her requests. She will ask for Lunarient Face Cream.

Go to the back room and call the delivery service. Here, order every single item available for an achievement. After the call is placed, go see to Naomi again. She wants Dengaku.

Ask her questions to find out how Dengaku is made. Then, go to the storage room and call Aunt Hina. She will say you need to figure out Naomi’s mood before suggesting an ingredient to her. She required Tomalley.

Pick up Regal Ocean’s Tomalley from the Canned Goods display and hand it to Naomi. With that, check Naomi out. Note that the delivery will show up, so handle that first. Unpack all the boxes and put them on the storage shelves.

Take one Lunarient Face Cream with you. Now return to Naomi and check her out.

Naomi will comment on the Chief’s lucky charm on the table. Speak to Naomi and let her go.

Go to the Beverage section and pick up the Vigorman X Energy Drink. Next, pick up the Noble Dogs dog food from the Pet Food Display. Amurskoje More Squid from the Canned Goods Shelf as well as the Tori Bites Yakitori from the same place. Now stock all these on the Speical Offers area.

The Mystery Man should be in the store now. Meanwhile, you can find the Daico Paper Napkins on the bottom shelf of the Canned Goods Shelf.

Additionally if you check the household section you will see there is a request to change the location of some of the products on the lowest shelf.

Shinolux, Mr Freshway, Laguna and Ichi Mold Killer needs to be moved to a higher shelf. You can also find Daico Paper plates here.

Rearrange this shelf with Shinolux, Mr Freshway, Laguna and Ichi Mold Killer going to the top shelf.

The Mystery Man wont talk much today or rather ask for help. He will just sneeze and soon after, he will ask to be checked out. When you do check him out, you finally find out who he is. Pretty soon, Satoshi will walk in to add to the drama.

Look for Daico stuff in the meanwhile and Satoshi will start to talk to himself and get late for this delivery so go talk to him. He will then give you his list.

Soy Sauce and Yellow Miso Paste are on the Cooking Essentials Shelf.
Rice is either in the storage or in the canned goods section.
Piu-Piu Biscuits are on the hanging sweets section.
The needlework magazine – Teyou Masuta for September is in the storage shelf.
The last two items need decoding – ask Satoshi. One item is the Shinolux Cleaning Powder.
For the Dak-kkochi in a can, you need to call Aunt Hina. Turns out its Yakitori from the canned goods section, but we moved it earlier to the Special Offers Section.

You can find more Daico Plates near the freezer.

You can find Daico Paper Cups in the Soft Drinks Refrigerator.

The final Daico Paper plates are above the freezer on the store floor. Next, go put everything Satoshi needs in a box and go to him. Next, check him out. Speak to him before he goes out to play the gacha machine.

As morning rolls around, the Chief will come in. Speak to him to tell him everything that happened. Help the Chief out next – he wants a frozen meal under 300 Yen. Give him the Gyoza Dumplings from the Freezer.

Once the chief is done, check him out. After the chat he will want Frozen Honkichiki. Its in the storage room freezer. Open the door of the cupboard at the back of the register.
