Day 3, Part 2 (Convent, Lake)

After the cutscene, head out of the medical center and return to the convent. Talk to Samuel to return his watering can. Ask him about December 24, and then examine the frame to the right of the main convent door. With this, you’ll learn about mass timings and dates.

Talk to Samuel again and mention the mass on Christmas Eve. After the conversation, go examine the rooster statue near the convent entrance.

Examine the picture you’ve just received and talk to Samuel again. You will now have access to a new area from your map.

Use your map to go to the lake (to the right of the convent diagram). Pick up the soda can on the ground and Nathalie will drop it in the bin.

Return to the convent and talk to Samuel to get a metal detector from him.

Go back to the lake and examine the metal detector to change its power. Now use the powered-up metal detector on the empty grassy area near where the soda can was.

After identifying the area where you need to dig, return to the convent again and talk to Samuel. This time, you’ll get a shovel.

First you need to fix the shovel with a screw. To do this, first use your screwdriver on the broken metal detector. You’ll find a screw, which you can now use on the shovel to fix it.

Return to the lake and use the shovel on the marked area to dig. You’ll finally get the box from the picture – open it up to find a floppy disk inside.
