Day 3, Part 3 (Floppy Disk, List)

Now go to the police station and talk to Officer Áncora. Mention the floppy disk you found and you’ll get a floppy disk drive from the kind officer.

Head out of the police station and over to Karim’s house now. Show him the floppy disk drive and Karim will set it up so you can finally view its contents.

After the conversations that follow, you’ll be stuck at a password screen. Examine the map you found in the metal box and Nathalie will mention using FreeZoneMaps on Karim’s computer.

Use Karim’s computer again to get the password you need – Nathalie will enter it on her own.

After the conversation, use the floppy drive to retrieve the floppy disk.

Cutscenes follow. After these, you will be asked to enter a four-digit password for the laptop. Put in 1984 (clues of which can be found in Karim’s house, as well as in the chat memories).

Following the next cutscenes, you’ll have a list of things you need. Examine this list.

You pretty much already have a laptop, so ignore that for now.

For the RJ11 cable, talk to Officer Áncora and use the RJ11 cable dialog option.

After you get the cable, you’ll find the relevant entry crossed out on the list.

Talk to Officer Áncora again and use the dialog option that says “Julia, we need to send any information…”.

Now you have two of four items from the list.

Examine the laptop and Nathalie will mention needing to find out what’s on the microSD card. Use the microSD card on the laptop.

Now head to Karim’s house and examine the black monkey’s paw located at the bottom shelf, to the left of the computer and below the pinboard.

Provided you have attempted to use the microSD card on Julia’s laptop, you will now be able to retrieve the microSD card adapter.

Use the microSD card with the microSD card adapter, and head back to the police station.

Use the adapter on the laptop and you’ll have acquired the fourth item on the list – the trojan.

Now talk to Julia (Officer Áncora) and ask about the laptop.

Once you’ve got everything you need, the list will disappear and you can head to the transformation center using the map.

Before you go, though, be sure to pick up a paper clip from Julia’s desk.
