After you realize that the fate of the virus is in your hands, you have only one week before it consumes you. The crew of John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando decides to help Leon, since he seems to know what he is talking about.
Your first mission is to check on some remaining reactant fuel left inside a car at the abandoned St. Godar’s Church, and you need to make your way there.

Destroying The Nodes

Before you can access the church, there are two nodes that you need to destroy in order to unlock the tendrils blocking the gate.
Both nodes’ locations will appear on your map, so you need to make your way to them. Before you do, you might want to visit at least one Spare Parts location so you and your crew have a few to use later.

Since you already have max ammo and healing, you do not necessarily need to explore the other points of interest until you need them.
Now, you have a long way to reach the nodes, but luckily, you can reach at least two vehicles near where you spawn at the beginning of the mission.
First Node

One of the nodes you will reach will require you to fix the generator. To do this, you need to locate a fuel canister and refuel it.
You should be able to spot the canisters easily by their yellow color, so grab one and take it to the generator. Refuel it and then start the generator.

This will reveal the node’s weak spots, marked by red areas, and you need to shoot them. During this time, more zombies will approach, so be cautious while targeting the weak spots.

After you destroy all the weak points, the node will become fully exposed. Keep shooting it until you reveal the core. Once it appears, approach and interact with the core to completely destroy the node.
Second Node

Now make your way to the second node, and this one will be easy. The core is already exposed, and you just need to interact with it to destroy it.
With both nodes destroyed, the gate will unlock, allowing you to proceed to the church.
Investigating The Church

From a distance, you will be able to see a flare coming from the church, which gives you even more reason to make your way there.
This is the perfect time to fix your car, put gas in it, explore points of interest for more ammunition, and so on.
In addition to that, make sure you grab all the Spare Parts you can, because they will come in handy during the last fight.

Once you are ready, drive toward the church location. You will notice that the EMP tower is on, indicating that some survivors might still be here.
As soon as you approach the gate, a woman who claims to be inside the church will contact you. She needs your help to clear the area of the zombie horde, then she can help with the fuel you came for.

You have no other choice here except to fight. When you deal with all the zombies here, the woman will mention that she can charge the EMP tower to eliminate any remaining zombies in the area; however, it will take time to charge.
Typically, this is where you need to prepare your defenses around the church and survive.
Defending The Church

If you have enough spare parts, you can use them to activate the turrets and traps around the church. You can also use them to open weapon crates to obtain heavy weapons.
When you are ready for the survival phase, head back to the church door and knock on it to let the woman know that you are ready. You will have two minutes and thirty seconds to survive.

You have two entrances that you need to defend: A, which is the church door, and B, which is the side gate. Hordes of zombies will come from three directions: north, east, and west.
Get to higher ground and shoot all the red barrels to destroy them and kill multiple zombies. It is all about surviving and moving around so you do not get hit while continuing to shoot.

When you get overwhelmed, use your ability or use the heavy weapon you obtained to eliminate a group of zombies quickly.
Meet Ms Gallagher

Once the timer runs out, a huge EMP blast will occur and kill every single zombie remaining in the area. Gallagher will come out of the church and meet you.
She will notice the devices on you and, of course, the infection, but she trusts you since you helped them. You will notice that the church is a safe haven for many survivors, while you are here only for the fuel.

She will let out a brief laugh and tell you that if you can free it, you can take it. What seems to be the case is that the fuel is trapped within tendrils.
